The information regarding Priest Marcio is very interesting. I pondered over the scene of Kira visiting the church in Seed Freedom a lot and wondered what Kira thought about there, separated from Lacus and struggling with his emotions. After all it was Priest Marcio who saved him after his battle with Athrun and brought him to Lacus all those years ago.

I wonder what kind of villain Marquio has become.
Does he suddenly become brutal, or does he turn into a person who speaks in a calm, cruel manner?
Thinking about it, the changes in Marquio's role are really fascinating.
I also wonder what his feelings were when he handed Kira over to Lacus.
I'm curious to see how he fared under the old plan.

The worst Mistake that the Foundation made was not getting Lacus when she was a child and expressionable. It's kind of dumb that they did not acquire the centerpiece of their plans (Lacus) early and groom her to what they want her to be. The moment Lacus met Kira, the Foundation lost.
Arguably the most important accord ever created and the ultimate coordinator working together and developing feelings for each other, the moment those two met, whatever plans the Foundation have for Lacus was over and done with.
They should have pivoted to the other girl.

Even if they got her when she was younger they would have still lose just like how she rise up against Patrick Zala and Durandal the same thing she would have done with Aura. cause Lacus has a very kind and caring heart when it comes to ppl besides what Orpheus was showing to Lacus wasn't love it was more of an Obsession and trying to please her by serving her peace on a silver platter. Orpheus is not really controlling her it's more like the ring was resonating with both of them putting her into a trance state. Plus Lacus doesn't put her feelings before her duties just like at the Three ship alliance when she was gonna abandon both Kira and Mulaflaga if they didn't return to the ship. that's how strong she is when it comes fighting against tyranny so the black knights would still fail. That is why Durandal figure it out but it was too late that's why he was trying to kill her cause she's a threat to the destiny plan

Aura may have had great faith in Lacus' mother.
In the movie, Lacus said, "We rejected Durandal's ideas, but we cannot deny the people who sympathize with his way of thinking.
Although there were disagreements between Aura and Lacus, Lacus' mother might have taken Lacus away without strongly denying her views.
Perhaps it was because of Aura's strong trust in Lacus' mother that she eventually lost Lacus.
Durandal, who interprets Lacus' strong and calm mind as "contamination," seems to be a terrible person after all.
He may not have acted out of personal animosity toward Talia, but rather out of revenge against the world at large.

I look forward to seeing Lacus’ backstory further developed. Here’s hoping for Kira’s too.
I think Durandel referring to Lacus as “tainted” is part of how he sees Kira as wasted potential. Since he considered Kira a danger to his plans because of his beliefs and upbringing, and since Lacus shares those same beliefs with Kira, Durandel most likely wrote her off a problem that needed to be dealt with.
Lastly, I love the mention of Kira and Lacus being able to have children together! I hope they have a big happy family!

That Lacus is a first-generation coordinator really throws her origins on their head, and i got to say Fukuda has done an interesting job spinning 20 year old plot threads into a new story. Lacus's ring,Durandal's NEED to kill Lacus is reveled, and in the flashback episode of Destiny, FAITH, Durandal gave a monolouge about how he wished Lacus's path had stayed on track with Athrun because she would've stayed on the Destiny Plan path then. Durandal viewed Kira as the "contamination" toward Lacus. Basically the Destiny Plan and any similar plan to it in the Cosmic Era fell apart when Lacus met Kira. That is kind of crazy.

    Ahem, attention.
I've imagined a ,,What If" scenario for the movie if Rey was alive.
If he didn't stay on Messiah, Rey would over the year have had his defects remedied and would be on Team Yamato. During Compasses introduction to KOF, he'd take Agneses place, during which Ingrid would catch his eye (love at 1. sight for him). He'd try to dissuade Shinn from challenging BKS, until Redelard, Daniel and Griffin made some nasty remarks about his status as a clone and betrayal of Durandall and Shinns non-agressive fighting style, with Liu quiping that Kira has an ,,interesting taste for pets". Both of them would incesed try to take on Shura, but he'd beat them both, with the fight lasting longer and Ingrid later apologising for her comrades misbehavior, which Rey would quickly and easily accept, despite still incesed Shinns complaining, showing clear signs of attraction to her. Then, during the banquet and Lacus-Orphee conversation scene, Rey would notice something wrong with her, but she'd recompose herself and state she is just cold. Mu would later confront him about his affections for Ingrid, having recognised the way he was looking at her, to which Rey would react and answer awkvardly. After Foundations endgame became clear, Rey would feel sympathetic to the accords (more specifically Orphee and Ingrid), drawing many parallels to his old self, since they are not truly malicious, but were made the way they are by Aura, are only believing DP is the way to go because they don't know of a better way or how are they supposed to live, likening them to spoiled rich kids trying to please a bad parent. He'd help Shinn separate Kira and Athrun who'd keep shouting at each other until Kira gets to quoting Durandall as his pitty party would last longer. After he was finished, Rey would furiously and suddenly pummel him to a pulp and yell at him for losing faith in ideals he defied Durandall for, the 1s he made him (R) believe in and betray and kill his (R) father figure and watch his ,,family" die, but keep on living, just because things got hard and his girl ,,left" him. During operation ,,Caged canary" as-I-like-to-call-it, and the Second Battle of Messiah, during which he'd, in Legend spec 2 (just a different backpack with newer DRAGOON pods) fight with Kira/SF against Shi-Ve and Cal-re he'd try continuosly to persuade Ingrid and Orphee change, pointing out they are nothing but Auras puppets and pawns, extension of her arrogance and hubris and instruments of her will and that they've only ever done and wanted what she wanted from them, not what they really wanted themselves. Orphee would constantly try to reject him and Kira, in the same way Shinn tried to reject Athrun. After MSFs formation and Shinns and Hildas victory over the rest of BKS, Rey would use his (S) success as proof that people, including Orphee and Ingrid, can change and become better if they set their mind to it and follow their own hearths instead of someone elses words, boldly claiming that destiny is what someone is shaped into by their own actions, not something someone else says they are supposed to be in life. Ingrid would heed those words and try to talk to Orphee but he'd shut her down and continue his attacks. After Shuras demise, Ingrid would finnaly reveal to Orphee her feelings for him, causing him to stop as Cal-Re loses right arm and wing. As he'd process this, Gullveig and Requiem would be destroyed. Orphee would, shocked, guilt-ridden and devoid of his only purpose in life, suffer a breakdown, throwing Ingrid out of their suit, tearfully apologising and telling her to live, before lauching knowingly suicidal attack on MSF, telling Kira, Lacus and Rey to take care of Ingrid. Rey would pick her up and take her to Millenium. Their scene in post-credits would be Rey comforting broken and lonely Ingrid on the ship.
    😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
I'd really like if that was how it went. Reys death was a big bochery on the writters part.
    So much wasted potential.
    Opinions.

A correction I would like to make shown in this film analysis is Athrun's mastery in Super Dragoons, do take note that SF Type 2 dragoons are 2nd generation dragoons which the wiki states do not require high spatial awareness to effectively control it.

    • @khadz1705
      @khadz1705 7 месяцев назад +3

Doesn't change the fact that a very high level of abilities and skills are necessary to use them. Raw, Kira, Rey and Athrun are the only 4 people to ever use dragoons on screen.
Plus, the higher the spec of the gundam the more difficult it is to pilot. A pilot needs a high skill level to pilot high spec mobile suit. The same goes for the dragoons. A pilot needs high skill level to use them. The run of the mill pilots can't use the strike freedom and it's dragoons proficiently. The fact Athrun can showcases that his skills are very high.
As for whether or not a high spacial awareness is necessary to use the dragoons Version 2, I think it's still a bit early to say. As mentioned above, the only 4 to have ever used dragoons with high spec gundams on screen, are Raw, Rey, Kira and Athrun. All of them are extremely good pilots. To be this good of a pilot, you need high spacial awareness. Until we see a normal soldier use dragoons and can compare his performance with our 4 known pilots, it's still difficult to judge the level of spacial awareness necessary to use the dragoons Version 2.

From Fukuda's answer on how Athrun operate SF type 2, he say's Athrun is just skilled, only means that it diminish the rumors of him having a very high spatial awareness..It means that he used his previous experience to operate the Gundam, in related on SF dragoons, he maximized the usage of technology installed that unit, and he used tricks to compensate his lack of high spatial awareness, that's why he managed to operate it similar to a person who have a high spatial awareness...

    • @BenzAMGOne
      @BenzAMGOne 7 месяцев назад +1

@@dareljdecastro0524 not taking anything from Athrun's skills but please also take note that Fukuda also has a lot of inconsistencies with his interviews and also talks a lot of details which he rectifies/retracts later on. Example of which is how in his earlier interview, he stated that Ingrid was the one doing all the fighting yet when the details of how Cal-Rea's cockpit operates showed how Ingrid was only in charge of controlling the Zigurat, his statement becomes really confusing. I'd wait for the official explanation before diving into conclusions.

In fact, the settings in the Gundam series often change, which can be confusing.
Changes in settings can also be seen with the Super Dragoons of the Strike Freedom.
The relatively new Master Grade model kit describes them as "models based on the second-generation Dragoons that do not require special spatial recognition abilities, specially improved for Kira Yamato as the pilot.
This model has been tuned specifically for Kira, gaining the ability to attack more targets when performing a multi-lock on."
In other words, "while only Kira can fully utilize its capabilities, many pilots can use it within the range of a normal DRAGOON system.
Of course, it's possible that these specifications have changed due to improvements in Spec 2.
Mr. Fukuda's statements often change as well.
A similar phenomenon occurs with the control of the Orphe.
It seems that when he gave acting instructions to voice actor Hiro Shimono, he said, "Leave all the piloting to Ingrid, and I want you to act as if you were screaming in anger at Kira.
But it's fun to discuss these changes, isn't it?

    • @khadz1705
      @khadz1705 7 месяцев назад

@@dareljdecastro0524 dear, every coordinator has spacial awareness as they fight in space at an extremely rapid pace probably too fast for the eye. This means that the more skilled you are, the higher your spacial awareness. Now, we also have special beings born with an extremely high spacial awareness such as Raw, Kira, Rey and Mu. The level of spacial awareness the hold differs from each other.
For e.g: Raw's spacial awareness was practically equal to Kira but Rey's spacial awareness was probably equal to Mu but lower than Kira. Using dragoons isn't about who is the most special being who can use the equipment but rather who is skilled enough to use the equipment.
From my understanding, There's no such thing as people who don't have spacial awareness. But, there exists many people who have very low spacial awareness. Thus, most people are unable to use the dragoons V1. Perhaps, Dragoons V2 was created to solve this issue. Thus, increasing the number of people capable of using dragoons. But, so far only skilled pilots have been seen using dragoons. There's no telling if the dragoons V2 is still too high spec for low grade soldiers to use them. I think that fans should definitely ask a question on whether or not any pilot of any level can use the dragoons V2 that's on strike freedom.
Honestly, it's hard for me to believe that the dragoons has become a general purpose equipment that anyone and everyone can use. This defies the purpose of the strike freedom being a specialised gundam that a minority of pilots can use

Does this mean that Lacus, as well as rest of the Accords, was born the same way as Kira (that is, through an artificial womb), or was she still born naturally?
From what I can understand, Ulen Hibiki’s Ultimate Coordinator Project (which resulted in Kira’s birth) was likely a spinoff of Aura’s Accord Project, and the UC Project could be a salvage job after Kira was deemed a failure with the Accord Project.
It could explain Kira’s spatial awareness being on par with, but lower than, the La Flaga family.
Having excellent spatial awareness is required to operate the Gunbarrels on the Moebius Zero, as well as the first generation DRAGOON System (equipped on the Providence, as well as the Akatsuki’s Shiranui Pack).
The SFreedom (as well as the SFreedom Type II) have a second generation DRAGOON System, allowing normal pilots to use them effectively. The Legend also has this as well.

They could be called Gundam SEED (Destiny/Freedom): Phase Zero, which would be a shout out to two things: Gundam SEED’s episodes being called “Phases”, as well as to Gundam Wing: Episode Zero.
If I can recall, wasn’t Gundam: The Origin a reimagining/retelling of the original Gundam series?
Also, they should also cast Akiko Yajima (Relena Darlian in Gundam Wing) to play Lacus’s mother, in what would be a casting gag to strengthen the Relena-Lacus ties.

*You don't know how much, what you have to understand, Team Compass, is that we would never have won the war to make our planet survive, an agreement had to be found... With Requiem* .
If you hated Sentinel prime in Transformers 3 then you will also hate Orphee in Gundam Seed Freedom.☠

It's very sad that while you strive for peace, you also have to maintain a powerful military force.
In the movie, perhaps the only saving grace was that the enemies were clearly defined villains.
If they had complex ideologies that troubled Kira and his friends, they couldn't have been fully portrayed in the limited time of the movie.
I think Orphe also did a very good job as a villain.
The final battle was impressive as well.

@@Maki_Gundam_Talk_Ch_MegaliveGN the Final Battle is The Best moments by Kira Yamato vs Oprhee.
Look, I saw it at the cinema on June 16th and I want to give a minimal spoiler by saying that....
Orphee almost wanted to molest poor Lacus in bed.

Since Lacus is an Accord and a 1st generation coordinator, is her mother a Natural? If she is a Natural, why did she give her child to Aura and make her an Accord/Coordinator?
If Lacus' mother is a Coordinator, she should be a genetically altered 2nd generation Coordinator.
I think they should release a short noval or OVA about lacus.
Why did Agnes call Shin a monkey? Did he look like a monkey?
Actually, Shin's face resembles Kira's face. When I first watched the series, they looked the same.

Lacus' mother is shrouded in mystery, isn't she?
It seems she had a heart that cherished her daughter while working with Aura.
Perhaps feelings of caring for Lacus blossomed during the course of the plan.
I'm curious to see how Lacus' mother's attitude will be revealed.
Agnes calling Shinn a "monkey" was probably some kind of insult stemming from her derogatory feelings.
She probably called him a "monkey" because he ran around energetically like a boy.
I also agree that Kira and Shinn are similar.
It's a design that reflects well the concept of "the potential traps Kira might have fallen into.

,,Why Agnes called Shinn a monkey?"
The answer to that question is very simple. Because she is a... DESPIACABLE, MANIZING, SPOILED, BRATTY, LITTLE WHORE I HATE. She always bullied and looked down on Shinn, behind his back and in his face. She should be thankfull this isn't Shinn from GSD, else she'd look like she got hit by a SUV. 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡
Luna gave her what she deserves.
You know, it is interesting to see Shinn is willingly taking pitty crud like that and only getting angry when fighting truly evil people or when his loved ones are in danger. Shows he is to pure hearthed too be a soldier.
Well, at least now his pain went away.

you know to me for this I was interested on the plot of orphee is trying to (in a way) woo lacus into trusting him And Getting her to agree with the collaboration of their team probably in 💍 way

Orphe's Initial setting is quite interesting, isn't it?
According to what Mr. Fukuda said in X, "Ingrid and Orphe were lovers, and Ingrid was created as a replacement with genes similar to Lacus.
It's a very shocking and tragic premise.
I'm also interested in the drama between Orphe trying to get Lacus and Ingrid being discarded.
