i wish they could touch the alien thing just like the 00 series. I know that it would just be a copy story however it is one of the things they can show that everyone is at peace with everyone. or anything that can say they are already done with the wars

The Rising Freedom kinda looks like a downgrade compared to the Strike Freedom
As an artist, I said the same thing. It's design isn't much different Either.

I think the only thing you're off on is Shinn. I'm almost certain he's in the Immortal Justice. At the end of Destiny, Kira asked Shinn to come and fight with them.
In the footage we never see Athrun in a mobile suit until one of the later trailers, but we see Shinn with Kira regularly. Freedom and Justice are sibling Gundams, so they have to appear together both in universe and out of it. Athrun likely shows up later and also gets the newest Justice.

I can definiteiy see that being a interesting twist they could do - always felt like "Immortal" was a bit of a weird adjective for an Athrun suit, definitely sounds a bit more up Shinn's alley.
@@tomblack2890 he certainly will later, but it I'll be a version of the infinite justice. Depending on the story he could be in immortal for a bit too.

@@GUNDAMSTARX Trailer shows Shinn in a cockpit similar to the Rising Freedom and when they did the character interview for the movie last week on January 10th when they introduce Shinn character it shows that same cockpit that Kira and Atrun was in. I think Athrun might be just doing infinite Justice and Immortal goes to Shinn.
there are leaks about the 4 gen Freedom and Justice Gundams, since gen 3 is downgraded, and no nuclear engine, and immortal justice becoming Shinn's Mobile suit for the first half, and then the later half, Kira and Athrun will be piloting the Gen 4 Freedom and Justice gundams, which is possibly an upgrade to the Strike Freedom and Infinite Justice gundams with nuclear engine.

If you see the latest leak pix, they turned Lacus into Zero-Two. More likely Kira's red eyes is being taken over by the Zero-Two Battle AI system(maybe needing two pilots, the organic cpu(Kira) like the EA's enhanced pilots and the co-pilot(Lacus) being in charge of piloting&targetting priorities). It should take awhile for Kira to get control of the Zero system and it's likely that Lacus is what temporarily controls Kira's Zero controlled mind to be the focus he needed to control it. IMO, the changes to the Strike Freedom is similar to the Stargazer/Regenerate tech which a beam energy(similar to Deuterion beam energy transfer system). While the Impulse needs a direct hit to the forehead to get the power recharge, i think that the Strike Freedom is more devastating charge up like the X Gundam Satellite Beam Cannon. The Regenerate Gundam uses the GENESIS' positron beam to get that charge up and the Stargazer has something similar to be used for very long range sublight propulsion. So imagine that positron(not Deuterion) not being used for sublight propulsion but for a massively powerful beam weapon like the X Gundam's Satellite Beam Cannon. That's what Phantom Pain was worried about Stargazer's satellite beam being used as a weapon. Zala weaponized the Genesis Alpha research into the GENESIS mazer, what if the Stargazer beam cannon was weaponized as well and like the Stargazer, the upgraded Strike Freedom can absorb that energy and be that beam cannon's focusing lens using the beam deflection technology similar to the Requiem using the abandoned colonies to redirect its very massive&powerful beam energy towards its target. Actually considering that in previous Seed series that there's a very powerful WMD like Genesis&Reqiuem, it's no doubt that the next generation of WMD is to combine it and as mentioned, the Strike Freedom is the focusing lens of that DeathStar like superlaser weapon. Again it's likely that Lowe Guile's Junk Guild will do the upgrades to the Strike Freedom and he has access to all of that WMD tech from Genesis Alpha.
For all that watch the movie, you must read the novel so you can understand view thing:
- Why Queen Aura become young again?
- Why Queen Aura hate Kira Yamato?
- Why Durandal try to kill Lacus in GDS Desiny even though he knew Lacus was Aura creation?
- Why Athrun spy and did not trust about foundation?
- How Durandal and Aura met?
I'm hoping to see Kira's back story get explained more about him being the Ultimate Coordinator didn't get it fully explained like if he has kids will they inherit that power of his Kira's the most powerful Coordinator there is Athrun or Shinn maybe being the second. Glad to see Freedom and other Gundams we know like Justice coming back hope to see Akatsuki too as well I also hear Kira will have two Freedoms to pilot so maybe the second one will have Dragoons on it almost here can't wait to see this movie hope we get more. I am disappointed for Shinn though Kira and Athrun get upgrades to their Gundams yet Shinn is stuck with the same type of Impulse the colors are just a darker color not much of a change at all unless it's just temporary and he gets something later perhaps still great to see them all again and working together the ship looks great too reminds of Londo Bell Ship Ra Cailum. And Kira going bad maybe it goes back to him being the Ultimate Coordinator maybe he's being controlled has a control chip in his head the foundation is trying to make a better being than an Ultimate Coordinator perhaps trying to get a pilot to best Kira in combat we'll see

First time visitor to your channel. Before watching the movie, I was searching for "catch up" videos without spoilers but skipped your video because I thought it was a movie summary video. Changing the title to "Everything You Need to Know Before Watching Gundam SEED Freedom" would've helped for me. Just IMO. Just watched the movie and enjoyed the video tho!

I watched the new trailer. Kira, with his newfound freedom, starts aiming for the cockpit now. I guess he has reached a point of frustration where he is willing to go as far as killing pilots now.
I don't remember seeing that, but maybe its just a special circumstance. He did flagrantly kill Rau in SEED too

The big visual change I immediately noticed was the younger girls now wear lipstick and honestly it feels weird. I know its a minor change but still one of those things that just feels off since they didn't wear it during the tv series
I don't believe it's supposed to be lipstick- it's just supposed to be there lips getting bigger. Like Murrue and Natarle had a lip like that as the older women in SEED. So now that they're older they do to.
But I definitely agree it threw me at first-I'm used to it now though.

I'm almost done with Gundam franchise, specially Seed series. The 1st season is the best, Destiny is worse and this film is giving me a vibe that it will be the worst. Same old story lame designs and plot could be bad.
