This was a fantastic review. I felt exactly the same. Especially about the villains. With the Extendeds in Seed and Seed Destiny, we understood more about them as time went on. But we barely even get names for the Accord team, let alone backstories.
I watched it last night, and seeing the orb navy basically say "We learned how to miss our shots from Captain Todoka!" Made the entire theater burst out laughing 😂
Nobody got the reference when I watched it yesterday in the theatre. I died laughing 😂 because I understood the little Easter egg within. Then had a flashback scene in Destiny, where Cagalli was kidnapped by the Freedom & Archangel 🤓
@@IceSki117Yea unfortunately I had to deal with drunk people in the theater making not-so-funny jokes. Also, people mumbling to each other during the film.

Am kinda annoyed of the multitude of lone scenes with Luna saying "Shinn is so stupid". We know her character is better than just that, and whenever she's with Shinn, she _is_ better. It just feels like Fukuda didn't know what to do with her after her return to the Millenium & before the final conflict.

He got his ass beat by Shinn in an inferior mobile suit, and even when he gets the Strike Freedom, he's on equal footing with the Legend and Destiny.
@@AsimPaints true he did get his ass owned by Shinn and the druggies and even Athrun. But I mean now its more believable and Strike Freedom does takes damage.
@@Nataku302 Both the freedom and the strike freedom took massive damage during the end battles of seed and destiny. I'm just tired of people acting like Kira didn't struggle in both machines
When Erica Simmons said "these machines are hardly different from what you're used to", she's really only speaking with Strike Freedom & Infinite Justice in mind. Shinn's creative usage of Destiny's Mirage Colloid, Voiture Lumiere, and whatever particles its golden joints have, really birthed a new capability to the MS. It's no longer the "peak of Impulse's backpacks" that it was. It really is Shinn's coup de grace of an MS.
@@ArchusKanzaki Nobody ever put so much as a scratch on that mobile suit. I think the one time any enemy made contact is when he first used it and the GOUFs caught it with the heat rods.
It almost sounds like F91, "we wanted to make it a series but Bandai said make a movie instead." Other than that, yeah, sounds like Gundam Seed. I'm sure it will sell model kits.
Yeah, Flay, at least, makes sense as a character she was a grade A bitch but it came from a place of self preservation and before she died she was on her way to turning a new leaf and genuinely fell in love with Kira which makes her death actually tragic. Agnes, on the other hand, is directly responsible for several deaths and committed treason all because a boy rejected her. Actually fuck her, Agnes is an awful person and its actually wild that they(the writers not Luna) let her live.
@TrueWarriorJak yea kinda agree. I expected luna would kill her, but nope.... Luna even try to take her back into the team wtf 😱 like bruh why....really surprised they (movie director) didnt kill her off at the end there, especially considering flay was killed.
Lol she was a bit a character which I don't know why they kept her in the team. Also her reason to love Kira wasn't even love it's just she wanted to break the couple and get an higher social rank...
It's made bad because everything between the first battle & Compass' visit to the Foundation, Fukuda basically speedrun the explanation of the world & what happened to the characters after Destiny, even down to their private lives. If Fukuda dropped showing the characters' life update, things would've flowed more organically.
Congrats on watching the film and thank you for the review! On my personal experience, I personally loved the film. It wasn't trying to be high-brow fiction and honestly it made me respect that more. In the threatre, I got an interview with Fukuda where he said he made the film for the fans to honor the legacy of SEED, and that he wanted to make a film that made those fans smile. Watching it, I felt hyped, I squealed at the references and character appearances, laughed, and enjoyed myself a lot. I came out with the smile that Fukuda tried to give, and for that, the film is a massive success in my book.
Yeah, he made the show bright (the term). Gundam was often quoted for being dark and violent compared to other anime, with many important people on all sides losing their lives in quicker and quicker sucession over the series. But Shinns new, funny and joyfull personality made things funny and wholesome, like in other anime. It was uncharechteristic for Gundam outside the Build series.
Love that Kakarot titled it spoiled free and went on whole dunk contest to dunk on Agnis, but I agree with him. The movie made me changed my mind about Shin and hes the second best character in the movie next to my boy Athrun. The crew know what are doing with truly fan servicing on multiple levels. Pulling all the tropes and meme from seed and destiny so that was a big props.
Gundam SEED Freedom was a good film because characters from Gundam Seed Destiny in the film were good development, especially Shinn character development was hilarious to watch. For the final battle,it was a festival mania because Griffin went to read Shinn's mind but failed. And,also, Athrun thinking during fight Shura was hilarious 😂. I can't wait to watch it again during streaming online.
@Nix91 It's so strange that it was Gundam SEED DESTINY of all things that got a sequel that paid respect to it. I don't even respect Destiny and this movie treated it so well, I couldn't help but love it.
@@Wittle_Boyo same here too, didn't really like Destiny but the movie really takes all of Destiny's baggage and addresses them. Which now makes Destiny retroactively good, as being the middle of a 3-part series makes it a bit okay for some suckiness which the movie then redeems, kinda like a disaster movie where the middle is where all the bad things happen. Except this is Gundam and bad things happen all the time hahaha!
SEED Freedom was the most fun I've ever had watching a film in theaters. Though, it's interesting you say they don't kiss because when I saw it last night, they clearly locked lips before the credits rolled in.
Maybe he didnt finish it. I watched the movie twice in cinemas and both Kira and Lacus kissed in the end and thats where the movie ends Dont know why he has to lie on that part 🤔
Ikr that scene was so ridiculous and hilarious at same time lol. No one expected it 🤣 she literally went full shaltear but in spirit form or something lol.
Saw this film way back in April as part of a fan screening with merch from Japan. Everyone in the theater was screaming and shouting for joy with how "Kira is finally back" along with the rest of the cast and I agree with them. This movie is amazing and exceeds all my expectations considering the delayed production it encountered. That being said though, it is also flawed in certain ways, especially the pacing in which I think the movie is trying to squeeze as much screentime for everyone but you can also tell that they did what they can with the limited run time to its maximum extent. It's an amazing film in the context of Gundam and it's an excellent movie, if you really love the SEED series. It's a redemption film if you despise Destiny but also just a very generally amazing film and this is just me now, a great Gundam return-to-form for me since I didn't enjoy WfM at all.
Personally, I loved this movie, I enjoyed it so much, and the main things I liked or noticed were: 1. Shinn has always been my favorite SEED character, and seeing him in this movie could not make me stop smiling. They finally did him justice. 2. The fights were glorious and spectacular, really well animated. Both the old and new suit designs were awesome. Really liked the Murasame Kai and Destiny Spec 2. 3. Kira's arc finally brought him more down to earth and much more relatable 4. As someone who actually enjoyed SEED and SEED Destiny (despite their flaws), the nods and fanservice moments (not talking about Lacus' space suit at the end of the movie💀) related to the previous two series were a nice touch and I enjoyed them 5. Despite their limited screen time, I really like how they introduced and set up the Black Knights, making me hate them from the moment I saw them. 6. And finally, something I did not expect to be as good as it was, the romance and comedy scattered throughout the film didn't bother me as much as I thought it would. It was funny and enjoyable (especially Shinn o boy). While it wasn't perfect and maybe a bit too on the nose, I thought it was pretty good Overall, I loved this movie, beating out Narrative and Endless Waltz as my personal favorite Gundam movie. It's not perfect, but it's still pretty good. Any SEED and SEED Destiny fans who watched it most likely enjoyed it. I fell in love with this movie, and it's a shame that it's theatrical run in the US is so short lived. But yeah, I really did enjoy this movie, and I can't remember ever smiling more watching anything Gundam related than this. Great Vid Kakarot, as always.
I just saw it last night! Went with my brother who is also a life-long Gundam fan, and we had a blast. I had intentionally spoiled myself on all the major plot points and new MS beforehand, but my brother was in the dark so it was fun to see him react to all of the crazy moments. Shinn and Athrun were easily the best parts of the film.
Shin was so hyped with destiny when they tried to read his mind they said he was not thinking and stella being shin ark thoughts having the enemy being overwhelmed by shin!
I enjoyed it. Saw the sub last night. One of my few gripes was that some of the action was moving so fast I couldn’t really track it. Specifically the last fight Athrun had. Couldn’t tell if they were just countering attacks or flipping over each other.
@14:20 Here in America we got a bonus video before the movie started with the director answering questions. One of the answers he gave was he wanted to show some of the MSs from first series like the Dagger.
The movie is arguably a better end for the seed series’s. But I like that toward the end of movie, I can see that there is potential for another movie set in the gundam seed universe. So personally, I like that at least in the end, Kira and Lacus are finally be together, and will have a happy family. But I also see that blue cosmos is still out there, as well as how the foundation get their hands on such technologies, or is there any remain of the librarian work in the foundation plot as well as blue cosmos. I will love the next movie will also feauture Lowe and Gai Murakumo as well as other characters from the astray series alongside with other characters from seed and seed destiny, and maybe finally be able to see the astray gundams fighting side by side with the freedom, justice and destiny gundams.
Well we probably are getting another Gundam seed series but with different characters we already got all the model kits from Gundam eclipse manga so it's very likely we might get something in the next few years
Personally, I will love to leave the seed series end like this, maybe with an after credit of Kira and Lacus wedding. I like to see the iron blood orphan expand a little more on screen.
And one more thing that I don’t think anyone would notice, but I am going to say anyway. The z’gok mobile suit that Arthurn uses to hide the Justice gundam is very reminiscent of Kamen Rider Kabuto. Since Kamen rider Kabuto, Gattack, Drake would always have an armor form before activate the armor cast off to reveal the real Kamen rider forms. P.S. I hope that anyone whose are familiar with Tokusatsu will know what I mean.
Following the Foundation Crisis, I would guess that the next installment in Seed could involve Compass gaining more support like the Titans and prioritizing cracking down on Durandalists or Zala loyalists over Blue Cosmos terror cells. Or the Zaft coup could spark tensions yet again between Naturals and Coordinators, eventually starting a third Bloody Valentine War.
Sounds like a good time and the best possible result of a Seed related thing. And personally, Gundam movies/series with really fast pace, even at its own detriment, it's sort of fun quirk. A shame about what happens in the second half, but I will wait to see it for myself, whenever that is, I doubt it will air in Brazil, maybe we will get lucky and have it streamed eventually.
about to go see it in less than an hr, discovered this morning when talking to a friend about some of the spoiled plot points that it was showing only tonight near me. might as well go see what's up!

Big SEED fan and liked the movie, but yeah, your comments on the comp movie esque pacing blunting a lot of potential impact very much lines up with my experience.
Just came back from the theatre myself, aside from the cliches and pacing issues from time to time...I really had a great time watching it. The visuals were fantastic, along with the soundtrack and nostalgia overkill. The last part had me on the edge of my seat...truely a terrific cinema experience.
When it comes to my biggest takeaway, you hit the nail right on the head. Stuff just kind of happens, armed forces coalesce out of nowhere to fight another world war. The pacing was absolutely horrible. And the main "theme" of love got annoying after about the 3rd time Lacus looked into the camera and defined love, whilst all the baddies in the room stare at her like she said the gamer word 😂. The action was the main saving grace for me. I just had a kind of primal joy seeing kira and the others back in the saddle again. Also I liked the exploration of kira's trauma, ultimately he kept his word to durandal to take up the fight again and again, but it took its toll.
my experience when it was available in a cinema near me. It only aired for 2 days, 2 times a day in my province and 3 of its showing was during my work hours and I can't afford to leave my work so~ The last showing was at 5:30pm in the afternoon and my work ends at 5:00pm. It takes about 20 minutes to get there from my workplace, but to add after 5pm is rush hour and routes going in and out of my workplace is heavy traffic area XD. So with that I planned what to do~ First I parked my car near the exit gate that is the fastest and easiest to get out of the office that is also close to the Biometrics scanner for the record of going in and out of work. When the clock hit 4:55pm I packed my things and proceeded to my car which is a 3 minute walk from my office to the parking lot. soon as the clock hits 5pm I bolted and overtook took the start of rush hour to get to the mall, parked my car, brisked walk to the cinema and picked my seat and relaxed at 5:28pm~ Ye that was a fun struggle, but worth it for me XD
Saw it last night, honestly had a blast, left the theater with a smile. It's all one can ask for. Is it perfect no, is it enjoyable, yes. There were multiple points where the entire theater burst out laughing.
I can understand not caring about a good chunk of the deaths in Zeta, but there are plenty of meaningfully-fleshed-out characters that die. I also can't really suspend my disbelief here, you didn't feel bad at all when Kamille's parents were used as bargaining tools and then murdered when he didn't cooperate at the very beginning of the show? How awful the mix of emotions going through his head must've been, because he was also very mad at his parents at the time for their compliance with the technology they were making for the Titans? All during fight-or-flight in the heat of battle, when emotions are already running high? And Kamille's a teenager, so amp all the trauma and bad decision-making up to 11? Then add on the fact that part of his backstory is that his parents were fairly absent, leading to even more difficulties for the child and increased mixed feelings towards his parents? I personally can't imagine NOT being emotionally moved by the circumstances being portrayed, I almost feel like this is flamebaiting. I don't expect everybody to sob at the mere idea of that happening to somebody, but cmon, did you really not care at all? Do you just not care about any characters when they die in shows then? Did you just leave a comment to brag about being a sociopath, if you're being genuine? I'm so confused
@@Supercohboy No. There's so many deaths for so little to no good reasons besides Tomino being depressed and going "kill 'em all" mode like each time he worked on something while depressed. All those deaths led me to go/think "next" each time somebody died in Zeta. In fact, I vividly recall starting saying next outloud at some point, each time a death happened in that show. Mostly at the end of it. And no, I'm not flamebating nor am I a sociopath. I really didn't care about any deaths in Zeta, unlike the ones in the original serie or other Gundam series. IMO, Bernie's one of the saddest death in all of the franchise. Also, guess I'm not the only one, as of I'm writing this, my comment have 23 likes.
Though for me it was for very different reasons. In Freedom is was a bunch of people I didn't know dring and then that being moved on from too fast for anything to come of it. In Zeta it was characters I cared about in the first half (ie Emma) dying in stupid ways in the second half, but because they had been making such dumb decisions the whole second half they weren't even the characters I liked anymore, they were all lobotomized.
So what you're saying is that Kira's arc was transforming from Jesus who now questioned himself to becoming the almighty Gundam god at the end? So it's a little more interesting then what he did in Destiny.
I was overall happy with the movie. It was what I was expecting for a Seed movie 2 decades later. The mecha battles were awesome and the brief cameos of past characters were nice, although short. It was a movie made for fans of the two Seed series. Happy to finally get the Seed movie after waiting for so long.
Finally watched it with it being released North America via Netflix, and, man, that was rough. The story and its stakes don't matter. You were right in saying that the pacing goes too fast sometimes for anything that happens to matter. Another thing you said that is 100% true is all the deaths that do nothing for the viewer because nothing matters when no one of importance is going to get hurt. Sorry but seeing too many randos die at once does nothing for me. This redo of Gundam Seed Destiny is somehow worse than, well, Gundam Seed Destiny.
Im a big fan of Seed and I loved this movie. As a fan I felt like this was made for people like me who waited 20 years and I felt like I got what I expected plus a little more. That being said I was suprised you didnt mention how good of a showing Athrun got because boy oh howdy he was cool.
I really enjoyed it. The pacing was break neck and and it’s not newbie friendly in the slightest. But for those of us who like seed and destiny it’s the ending we should have gotten in 2005. Agnes actually has one of my favorite lines of the movie when she umm questions Luna’s relationship choices. The movie is very aware of itself.
At the end of the day Seed is a high concept sci fi show (it’s still one of the best examples of a show dealing with genetic engineering… makes you wonder if the world of Star Trek is run by blue cosmos) mixed with anime weirdness you either get or you don’t.
@@Chris-xc4rv true I was mainly referring to people who have no knowledge of seed at all. People said Hathaway was hard to follow but at least all you needed to know from CCA is the girl he liked died and he’s not over it. This one just drops you into the first battle and takes off.
I absolutely loved it! I read the mini novels before watching the movie, so it kind of brought some back story to some of the new characters and what happened between the events of Destiny leading up to Freedom. The movie is a love letter to the Seed fans.
As someone who thought the original SEED is a decent series and DESTINY was a downgrade I actually really enjoyed SEED FREEDOM, it has its flaws of course but this time around the positives outweigh it's problems for me. My theater just had such a fun time with the film lol. Also this is a sequel in every sense of the word so no you need to watch the original SEED and DESTINY.
@@DIEGhostfish compared to Kakarot's theater experience, my theater was laughing and clapping at many parts of the film, they were really enjoying it.
It started out interesting plot-wise but then went completely off the rail towards the end. Although even with that being said, as a big fan of the seed timeline, I had the best time of my life seeing the characters in action again and if you don't take the movie seriously and just take it as what it is (a love letter to fans), you will enjoy it as well. Shinn was also the best character. Better late than never. **SPOILER** I still wish that the Archangel did not sink with everything it went through. My all time favorite ship.
Saw the film without any expectations, having not seen any of the trailers. I enjoyed it, made me feel like it was a mid 2000s Saturday night again (albeit on a Tuesday).
I came back from the English Dub. Athrun shows he is Boss in every scene, conversation, and skirmish, and I couldn't be happier after what he went through in the Destiny series.
This movie was kind of a mix of the first two series. It was still enjoyable and took me back a bit though. Glad i went to see it instead of having to wait another 6 or 7 seven months for its release. I can't believe they brought back all the orginal mobile suits to use in battle. And as usual athrun can't end a movie or series with his mobile suit still in tact. But they didn't let him destroy a gundam. Also, you still can't kill the 3 main characters by blowing up their suits. Seed and destiny was always fast paced. You're going to be lost if you've never seen those.
Honestly, having heavy plot armor doesn't really bother me that much. Kira, being super powerful, honestly, was just really cool to me. Though I do like how it was portrayed in this movie. Overall, I wasn't expecting a love conquer's all ending, but I think they did it well enough. As they said in multiple interviews, they wanted to make the movie entertaining, and I think they certainly succeeded at that. I would honestly say the movie is a nine out of ten. Sure. There are a few small things that I didn't like, but they're just that they're small things. I would say the biggest problem is Indeed the pacing. I think this would have worked better as a mini series than a movie. I also hope we get a better english dub because wow it was bad. And I saw it both subed and dubed. Also I personally didn't like seeing the strike.Freedom get trashed for seemingly. No other reason than to bring in the new prototype backpack , but then again , he was also getting tag teamed by two aces and three warships so....
It was entertaining to watch, and as stated in the pre-movie interview that was at my theater that was the goal so they succeed in that regard. Was it a masterpiece, no, was it fun, yes. Do i now have a bunch of questions about Siegel Clyne being an advocate of the destiny plan and the only resign it was never implemented in CE71 was Patrick Zala... yes, yes i do.
Just got back from watching this in English dub. I went into it without finishing destiny yet, so I was a bit lost as to who was who, but I was able to follow. It was definitely a lot to pack into one movie. This probably should have been an OVA to flesh everything out. That being said, I still had fun watching it, and they sold me on some of the designs, so yay more Gunpla!
My friend never watched SEED or Destiny (he usually doe not watch robot anime), however he agreed Freedom is a good movie. He knows the is missing a lot of references, but he likes it .
I loved the movie, the opening section that's on YT in particular is always a good watch. Shinn getting his flowers and Kira learning you can't save everyone is a real good watch.
I honestly love the movie. A huge KiraXLacus fan here, but yeah it did get kinda cringe with the whole power of love thing but yeah still love it. My biggest suprise is that at the end i end up loving Shin, I never like him back in Destiny but here he is kinda adorable 😂 Oh, and the Stellar part is hilarious, the whole theater was laughing like crazy, hands down one of my favorites scene 😂😂
Gundam seed freedom is considered a festival movie made for fans. So, it's not meant to be taken as seriously as the anime series. It's meant to be light-hearted and enjoyable. The fast pace actually helps in that as you don't get to really dwell on the deaths or the current consequences of Kira's and Lacus' actions or how Lacus' identity as the last accord harms their reputation and may make their future harder. However, there's mentions that Kira and Lacus went into hiding and are considered MIA. I just hope that if the studio makes a sequel, let Athrun and Shinn be the protagonists and let Kira and Lacus be supporters or simply mentioned in passing.
after the massacre of Cagali in Destiny, now it's Lacus' turn It's Desiny all over again, the scenario fall on it's head on the first part and tries to pick up itself back up on the second half The most infiuriating thing to me is that they didn't END the series, meaning there is a possibility for more....
Lacus and kira never acted like that. They were cringe .... kira and lacus aren't known for cringe. It's completely different behaviors of the characters. Very superficial, and they didn't even go into the villians character much.
the lolibaba was one of those scientist that involved on super engineered human. there is a split second image of photo contains her and lacus's mom (?) which explains why lacus was one of those type of coordinator. i was watching on SEA territory and I stopped giving some thought about the subtitle cause its kinda weird. so I just focus on the Japanese spoken lang lol
A well balanced review. I personally really enjoyed the movie, though I agree about the pacing. I am used to SEED & Destiny both being 50 episodes, so having a 2 hour movie does feel like events are happening really quickly. I think if the movie had been maybe even 30 mins longer, could of added a little breathing space for some scenes. Hoping the Blu-ray isn't too far off.
For us in HK,we all laugh are the funny part as well thise funny references. But my favourite part is when the Archangel was about to go down and Murrue Ramius called out abandoned ships. We all saluted for its services

Mighty Strike Freedom kinda returns the armor (it's so goddamn OP like holy shit), but Kira definitely struggled at least 75% of the movie.
The Strike Freedom and Kira is really being put through its paces. I don’t think Kira even loses any DRAGOON when he was duelling Legend back then.

Yeah, Agnes took the worst Gundam Seed Girl character spot from Flay for me. I can easily agree that Flay was more human than Agnes in comparison.
At least Flay didn't go so low as to try stealing random people's bf then immediately dumping them whenever she pleases while feeling 0 remorse.
She was already bad before then. This just consolidated her horrible character.

Just enjoy your videos and had some to support. TY for your vids.

I wonder if the version you saw was censored. They most definitely did kiss here in the US at the end.
I was going to say? Just saw it in Canada, naked on the beach and kissed. Been waiting for this since end of SEED lol

Personally, I loved this movie, I enjoyed it so much, and the main things I liked or noticed were:
3. Kira's arc finally brought him more down to earth and much more relatable
4. As someone who actually enjoyed SEED and SEED Destiny (despite their flaws), the nods and fanservice moments (not talking about Lacus' space suit at the end of the movie💀) related to the previous two series were a nice touch and I enjoyed them
While it wasn't perfect and maybe a bit too on the nose, I thought it was pretty good
Overall, I loved this movie, beating out Narrative and Endless Waltz as my personal favorite Gundam movie.
Saw the moive yesterday. And it was awesome. One of the best Anime flims I have seen in awhile.
The music nostalgia hits HARD. I got so hyped when the shutsugeki impulse song played, and i felt the tears welling up when Meteor played. 7.5/10.
Since this will not be out in my area in a movie theater; hopefully Gundam Seed Freedom will be out in Bluray and/or 4KUHD disc soon.
I’m hoping so too
In late 2024.

I've seen it twice now, and I love it. I can't believe it took so long for me to get into Seed. Wonderful.
Shinn's Kamille moment was a special moment.😉
Maybe the Dagger L thing is that we have a fairly recent kit for and maybe we might be getting a "revive" version of the 105.
my experience when it was available in a cinema near me.
It only aired for 2 days, 2 times a day in my province and 3 of its showing was during my work hours and I can't afford to leave my work so~
The last showing was at 5:30pm in the afternoon and my work ends at 5:00pm.
When the clock hit 4:55pm I packed my things and proceeded to my car which is a 3 minute walk from my office to the parking lot. soon as the clock hits 5pm I bolted and overtook took the start of rush hour to get to the mall, parked my car, brisked walk to the cinema and picked my seat and relaxed at 5:28pm~
Ye that was a fun struggle, but worth it for me XD
Saw it last night, honestly had a blast, left the theater with a smile. It's all one can ask for. Is it perfect no, is it enjoyable, yes. There were multiple points where the entire theater burst out laughing.
"I didn't care about millions dieing." So you felt the same way I feel about any death in Gundam Zeta.
I like how they did Four's character arc three times.
Bravo, Tomino.
May I know if you watched the compilation movie or the full series?
Yep
I was overall happy with the movie. It was what I was expecting for a Seed movie 2 decades later. The mecha battles were awesome and the brief cameos of past characters were nice, although short. It was a movie made for fans of the two Seed series. Happy to finally get the Seed movie after waiting for so long.
I enjoyed it last night on my end. Glad to see my favorite side character present and probably wait for HG kit.

this is movie in unapologetically Seed, you can either nitpick it or embrace it and just enjoy the movie
Did Kira abandon his no killing policy in this movie? From what I see he is destroying everything left and right
Finally watched it with it being released North America via Netflix, and, man, that was rough.
And that was some of the corniest dialogue I've ever heard in media. This is coming from someone that enjoyed the ending to the original Eureka Seven.
Saw it twice and utterly enjoyed it both times. No complaints here.
It was easy for me to follow. I haven't seen either series in years and still understood and remembered almost everyone's names.

I’m new to the gundam scene, but when the Z’gok showed up outa nowhere it put a smile on my face so hard.
Got to see the movie last night. Really enjoyed it... although one of the themes of the movie really felt a bit heavy handed.
Another thought. What if this was just a tease for a full series? I would love a full series expanding on this movie.
My biggest suprise is that at the end i end up loving Shin, I never like him back in Destiny but here he is kinda adorable 😂
Oh, and the Stellar part is hilarious, the whole theater was laughing like crazy, hands down one of my favorites scene 😂😂
I just hope that if the studio makes a sequel, let Athrun and Shinn be the protagonists and let Kira and Lacus be supporters or simply mentioned in passing.
after the massacre of Cagali in Destiny, now it's Lacus' turn
It's Desiny all over again, the scenario fall on it's head on the first part and tries to pick up itself back up on the second half
The most infiuriating thing to me is that they didn't END the series, meaning there is a possibility for more....
Just got back from seeing it. Was fun.
Evil Loli Grandma Nanoha.
There was alot going on and so fast, I’d need to watch it over again to properly grasp WTF was going on.
The lack of gouf was strange as well...
For us in HK,we all laugh are the funny part as well thise funny references. But my favourite part is when the Archangel was about to go down and Murrue Ramius called out abandoned ships. We all saluted for its services
Unfortunately I have to miss this because of my work schedule, glad those of you who watched it enjoyed it.
I watched it last night. Man what a ride. Such a great experience. Not sure if I saw any Gundam battles better than this one.
It felt like they condensed a 13 or 25 episode season of seed into a movie
Edit: also Yzak once again in this movie proves why he is a national hero for the PLANTs
Still voiced by Domon/Pucci, don't forget.
Any chance we can get a follow up, spoiler laden rant? Watching you dig into a few of those points should be a great time.
