I love the CE timeline the most. It's so rich and deep. As always, thank you so much for sharing all these stories with us Maki. Thanks for helping me love the CE timeline even more.
Saw the 1. trailer for GSF Zero. Here are my observations and presumptions: In the 1. scene Kira is talking with Cagalli while wearing an Orb uniform. Meaning it is before the final scene of GSD, a.k.a. before he joined ZAFT and Lacus became the supreme chairwoman. My hunches have been partially confirmed. If the brown-haired young man is Leonard, then it seems Agnes had dyed her hair yellow, perharps to be more alligned with Leonards tastes. Kira seems at ease so it is before BC launched its comeback. When Muu and Yzak meet, all things considered mayhaps for the 1. time, Yzak seems in a peculiarly good mood. Also in the scene, Shinn is seen looking with what I see as curiosity. He might be sniffing out simularities between Mu and ,,Neo". Luna looks at him from the side, her expression sending out the ,,anything wrong" feeling. Murrue also turns at them, might wondering if Shinn is able to place it. Also in that scene, I saw a bright red stripe beneath yellow stripe on his rank-marking instead of the white we all know. After Durandalls death ZAFT officialy adopted a classical rank system. Saw Gyan vs SF and Murasame Kai vs Prototype Murasame Kai. All 4 are using shell-firing guns, probably filled with dummy bullets. Finnaly, at the scene where Shinn and Luna are scrubing the deck, Luna seems displeased with the task while Shinn is focused. Honestly, I thought I imagined everything that could happen in the prequel over the last 10 months. I was mistaken. As you know, my hopes for it are big and I am afraid of being let down. For now there is more stuff that gives hope that things I imagined will happen but I'm uneasy. Then, if Cal-Re and Shi-Ve were gundams, good names for them would be ,,Supremacy" and ,,Judgement" respectfully. Mad thought: What if Kaite ends up using his Destroy during the Foundation conflict. It's appearance implies it can be of significance. Todays edition of my designs: STTS-580 Warhawk (maybe not the best name but the best one I managed to make up) Type: Custom gunbarrel-use transformable mobile suit Size: 22,35M Weight: 75T Armor: VPSA Systems and equipment: MLACS New gunbarrel system-the cables are now anti-beam coated like Raiders. The barrels now have a wider range of movement, are able to lock on different targets simultaniously and even fire at targets behind the mother-units back. Transformation system-unusable without all 4 back mounted barrels Armament: 2 20mm headmounted CIWS. 2 2x2 ,,Firewasp" missile launchers in the shoulders. Usable only in MA mode 2 ,,Vajra Kai" beam sabers 6 gunbarrels. 4 back-mounted and double as flight system. 2 forearm- mounted and triple as shields and fixed physical melee armaments. Back-mounted have 6 ,,Erinacerus II" missiles and 2 beam cannons each. Can fire and rotate while mounted. Forearm-mounted have a beam shield emmiter and a physical blade each. Can be fired and retrieved like Blitzes and Duel Blitzes ,,Gleipnirs" 2 small caliber beam machine guns-in the nose when transformed. Usable only in MA mode
The idea of Karura and Shiva appearing as Gundams is certainly interesting. Of course, the Gundam-like face results from the efficient arrangement of powerful sensors. It wouldn't be surprising if the prototype of the BLACK KNIGHT had a Gundam-like face. The concept of starting as a Gundam and evolving into a non-Gundam mobile suit halfway through is very appealing.
Great to see your examination of CE continuing into the start of the war. It's always neat to see what was going on offscreen while the main series happened. I hope you will incorporate some of the Astray events into these histories. Always wondered what happened to the South American states through Destiny and especially now after Freedom. I imagine they must have gained their own indepedence by now. Would be cool to see them field their own mobile suits in the CE 75+ era (sure Harrelson was just a defector but maybe they developed Calamity derived suits or their own Dagger variants) Interesting to see that ZAFT failed to accomodate ground warfare properly in their first assault. I know the BUCUE is the original response to this need but I wonder if an early GINN Gladiator type precursor could have made an appearance as a retcon to help with Earth based battles.
Thanks to the staff taking the time to carefully craft the story, an interesting work has been created. There seems to be so much hidden history that we can expect more sequels. South America after Freedom is certainly fascinating. At the time of SEED Destiny, it was in a state of independence from the Earth Alliance. Considering that the Earth Alliance was weakened by the "Foundation Shock," it might be natural to think that South America's independence was maintained. The element of the Eurasian Federation being devastated by the Requiem Beam Cannon also seems to play a role. I also like the GINN Gladiator mobile suit. The GINN is definitely more suited to a metal sword than a beam weapon. I am also curious about its predecessor mobile suits. Could it be the story of a soldier who survived the first descent and came up with the idea?
hmm interesting but was wondering within Atlantic Federation, was there resistance to the annexation of South America ? Also I was wondering if the video on the response of the zero trailer would be planned
The conflicts within the Earth Alliance are also a very interesting part of the story. They may be an important factor in predicting the post-SEED Freedom era. We are producing a program that will analyze the content of the Freedom ZERO promotional video. Please stay tuned.

Thank you as well!
I'm really glad you're enjoying the program.
The CE timeline is sure to have many more events in the future.
I'm very excited.

Actually, there was some resistance to the annexation of South America within the Atlantic Federation, but they were quickly (and brutally) silenced.
The conflicts within the Earth Alliance are also a very interesting part of the story.
They may be an important factor in predicting the post-SEED Freedom era.
