    This is the most complete and useful explanation of symbols and charts. I plan to chart some patterns that are hard to follow. Thank you so much.

    I can't find the words to describe how I am grateful for your videos and channel 😇✨🌈🤍 God bless you....
    I learn through internet only... no teacher to follow me....
    I wondered how can I learn these symbols 😭
    I thought I will be like those who can play music by 👂 ear or written letters without managing to read its symbols 🙈
    Thank you again 😇🍀🌠🧶🤍

    I found this video very helpful. One thing I did notice is that when explaining the pattern-in-the-round, you referred to the slip stitches as slip knots. Fortunately I caught it, but you might consider re-doing that segment as it might cause confusion for some people. (I believe you also called a chain a stitch in one of the segments. FYI). But overall this is a very informative and helpful video. The visual aids were a huge help to me personally, being the visual learner that I am. I feel like I might be able to try a more advanced piece now. Much appreciated. 👏 😊

      Each time that she said”Slip Knot”, my focus was yanked away from this video - to a mental image of any one of their visually magnetic/repulsive album covers. 😂

    This video is excellent,i watched another one but the symbols were so far away i stuggled to see what she was talking about and said it far to fast, i love how you have taken the time to write it yourself and clearly explain what the symbols mean thank you so much i have learned alot from this excellent clearly explained tutorial xx

    Thank you for a comprehensive explanation. Perhaps one can remember the front post and back post symbols by looking at the symbols in the following way : back post symbol looks like a b and front post looks like an f 😊

    very clear and informative I will subscribe, unfortunately doesnt help me with the predicament I have I think the pattern I am reading is impossible to use as written. its fine on the second row then on the third it has a cluster of 5 triple trebles (UK) terms into a chain and out the top of the cluster comes a double treble (UK ) then the row chains to continue the row along. As there is no chains in the cluster to indicate its done when the chains below are made in row two ir SS shown and I have no clue how you can make a double treble from the top of a cluster you just made. I will have to fudge it and use chains instead I guess if it were if it were a singke treble I could maybe make a standing treble. it is not a very clear pattern any way but the design is lovely so hopefullu I can make it work
    I have looked at many vidoes trying to understand it yours is amongst the best thanks .

    I cant see the symbols you are describing. The video is very blurry. Perhaps you could explain to youtube that these are not copyrite patterns. This is the only reason i can think of to blur these symbols. I set my video to the highest setting. It hasnt improved, the speaker has a very nice voice but if one cannot see the subject matter it is sumwhat a farce. Thank you for the educational effort ill try to see the rest of the vid.

    So you need to know if the person designing the pattern is using English or US stitches?

    • @celestebrown1915
      @celestebrown1915 Год назад

      If it is a written pattern then you need to know if they are referring to UK or US stitches. However with a symbol pattern the stitches that you crochet would be the same. For example the half treble crochet (UK) and the half double crochet (US) have different names for the same stitch, however the symbol for both looks the same (T). So reading a symbol pattern you do not need to know if it is a US or UK pattern because the symbol for the stitch is the same. I hope this explains it.

    Another poor instructor I have not yet found one that it’s just clear and know how to explain things in a clear fashion..waste of time…👎👎👎
