    My kit arrived yesterday so im watching your video in preparation! Im going on holiday in 2 ½ weeks so im trying to decide whether to do a full application in the next couple of days then remove amd reapply before holiday or try one or two nails now, see how they last and then do a full application before holiday. Ah decisions 😂 great video so far (im only 6 mins in)!!!

      I’m not sure when I released that video but I’m still at it! 😂 very obsessed with dip powder 😂
      Removal is easy if you use the hot rice bag method, I switched out the rice for baking beans, there’s a video in my dip powder playlist.
      I also made a simplified beginners tutorial here that might give you a few more tips

      Theres definitely a learning curve, and practice helps, but once you've got your head around the basics it is SO addictive 😂

      The clean it bottle is for when, inevitably, one of your other bottles (normally the base or top coat) gets contaminated.
      When you first use the kit your liquids should apply nice and thinly, if you notice the brush getting gummy or hard it has become contaminated. Just swap the brush your using with the one in the clean it bottle and leave the dirty brush in the clean it bottle.
      I made a video on how to avoid contaminating your brushes but it happens to most of us as beginners.

    I've been using dip powder for almost 6 years. There is a definite learning curve. Practice...and more practice. Watch many many videos. U will get it. And the strength of your nails u will love. Ty for ur video.

      @@hayley-DNA Perhaps. I don't have much need to build an apex. I always keep clear dip powder on my natural nails. Then do color over. I haven't soaked off color in about 3 years. The acetone or filing for removal was killing my natural nails. That's where peel base came in. It's a Godsend.

    I removed my first set today. I couldn't in all good conscience waste food by using rice for my removal. So I used glass marbles in the water. Worked like a charm. Application a bit less time than the first and a better result overall. |Let's see how long they last before next time.

      @@hayley-DNA Definitely. Like I said, using a food to do something as insignificant as my nails just wasn't on the cards. Yep - those things you put in a pie shell would work just as well. This is definitely a learning curve. Thanks for your video.

    You did a great job for your first time using dip powder!!! 👏🏾 It looks lovely. I've never used any dip powders before either, but I have a little experience with biab so I'm hoping this will be easier than biab. Biab is very time consuming!     Brilliant video, really informative. I just bought my first box today and like you I am not one to do my own nails at home so I am nervous. I am also excited too after watching your video. Although I’ve bought some colours I am already looking at other colours to purchase in the future 😅

      I’ve never done anything like it before! Totally hooked now 😂 there are some basic mistakes ppl seem to make but if you follow the instructions on the SS site you can’t go wrong ❤️ I did a video removing them using the rice method, works really well but a bit messy for my liking so I am experimenting at different removal methods.

      @@hayley-DNA I saw your other video and I agree it does seem like a lot of faff and worrying that there are reports from people saying their nails are more brittle but I’m willing to give it a go myself, even if it’s just to have nice looking nails for a few weeks! 🥰 I really liked the colour you chose too, I’ve gone for more natural pinks to start with to build confidence but I like the look of sage green 😊

      @@hayley-DNA I used to get acrylics years ago but after a while they were really sensitive to the tools they used and used to hurt. I never went back! This seems a far better way of getting my nails done 😊 I also like pastels so I might have to look at the other colours on the website at some point 😂

    I’d definitely like to see a video of removal!
    I’ve followed your instructions on this video to use my Sassy Saints for the second time. The first time i followed their video.
    I did my right hand following your instructions and it’s definitely better than when i did it the first time!
    The first time i used this nail system my nails were really thick and lumpy.. i thought they looked GRIM 😂. My right hand definitely looks better this time even though my nails are shorter than my natural ones should be, due to picking off gel extensions and ruining my nails 🙄

    I find that instead of using rice, fill a bowl with warm water and dip the removal bag in it. The nails just melt off

      I think it took me a month before I plucked up the courage to place my order, then I left the box sitting there for another month because I was too scared to try it 🤦🏻‍♀️🤣

      Mine lasted 3 weeks. I’m now trying my first soak off. It’s taking a while im just soaking them in acetone, can anyone recommend a way to speed up this bit?

      thats a loaded question 😂 you should be able to get a minimum of 2 weeks out of any brand, some people get up to 6 depending on how fast their nails grow. It's mostly down to how well you prep your nails, apply the product, and how oily your nail beds are (some brands work better for some people). I made a follow up video to this you can watch:
