The VT4A1 was unveiled at AirShow China in November 2022, it is a new modernized version of the VT4 featuring new improvements in terms of protection and firepower. Citing information published by the Chinese defense industry, the VT4A1 is now fitted with an Active Protection System (APS) and is now able to launch small attack drones. Each side of the roof turret is equipped with a launcher unit which is part of the APS and consists of two tube launches able to fire the countermeasure on 360° around the tank. Each launcher is able to launch HE (High Explosive)-fragmentation grenades used to intercept different types of threats including ATGMs (Anti-Tank Guided Missile), RPGs (Rocket Propelled Grenades) and HEAT rounds fired from tank guns.
I think now with Russian T90M and esspecially T80BVM tanks slowly still being made in Russia T14 Armarta tank will not be in service anytime soon or maybe never.

@@brettk9316 They tried with the MBT-70, but they couldn't agree on design and purpose. Germany wanted a tank designed for Europe while the US wanted a tank that could fight almost anywhere. This is mainly due to location and potential enemies while Germany only had to worry about a potential enemy from Eastern Europe/Western Asia while the US had potential enemies in Europe, Africa, Asia, and even South America at times. There were other problems they had but this was one of the main reasons, simply having different opinions, requirements, and doctrine ended the joint project.

Agreed, Parts of the KF51 make little sense IMHO. Halving your already low 24 main gun ammo storage for 2x Loitering munitions with 60km range ? Odd. Tanks exist for their unique capability of survivability, DIRECT heavy fire power and mobility. Those LM's should be in an APC a few km behind the frontline out of sight near SPAA cover. If steerable projectiles are needed it's best married to its main gun....like MRM-CE / STAFF.
There is no info saying that the Panther will replace Leopard II. It will be upgraded while France and Germany develop a new tank to replace Leopard II and LeClerc
Plenty of false information: E.g. the German Army does not plan to buy the KF51. They plan to buy the MGCS which is currently in development. Until then they will buy the Leopard 2A8 and 2A9 versions. Also the only new developed Gen 4 tanks are the MGCS, maybe the Abrams X and theoretically the T-14 Armata. The latter will likely never see a lot of deployment. Currently, it does not even manage to be deployed for parades...

Italy is also working on the C1 Ariete AMV, which is a program to modernize 135 Arietes in its fleet. A sum of the publicly known upgrades being 3rd generation thermals for the commander and gunner, improved turret rotation mechanism, improved engine, suspension, and wider tracks to allow the tank to use heavier duty applique armor kits
The Ariete will also come equipped with an updated version of the usual Italian tank transmission system 1 forward and 14 reverse instead of the older 12 reverse gear system

Абрамс X уже есть в металле и он в разы лучше арматы во всём, у него необитаемая башня, невероятная электроника не имеющая аналогов, автопушка на крыше, при чём круче чем у бредли (её можно заменить на гранатомёт или установку для запуска switchblade), также в танке присутствует искусственный интеллект, что позволяет сделать танк беспилотным и не рисковать жизнями танкистов, ну и гибридная силовая установка, из-за которой топлива танк жрёт в разы меньше + едет очень тихо, не свистит как все современные ОБТ.

sorry but the buzz is wrong on both the KF-51 Panther and Abrams X... those are what we call technology demonstration vehicles... prototypes to house new technologies, the Armies will then evaluate on its performances, see what works discard what doesn't and change the outlying appearance of the vehicle until a new MBT can be properly produced, of course the army wants the vehicle to modular just like Abrams to allow future upgrades. As for the KF-51 Panther there has been no word on if it will enter production, so to say it will replace current Leopard tanks is a bit pre-mature.
Abrams x is not even a project, it was a model of a tank with very advanced technology but it isn’t even in production, can’t wait to see the new c2 ariete in 2035

Each side of the roof turret is equipped with a launcher unit which is part of the APS and consists of two tube launches able to fire the countermeasure on 360° around the tank. Each launcher is able to launch HE (High Explosive)-fragmentation grenades used to intercept different types of threats including ATGMs (Anti-Tank Guided Missile), RPGs (Rocket Propelled Grenades) and HEAT rounds fired from tank guns. The VT4A1 seems to be fitted with a new armor package, in fact, the design of the front and sides of the turret are different from the original VT4. The VT4A1 maintains the original suspension consisting of six large dual rubber-tired road wheels with the drive sprocket at the front, idler at the rear, and track return rollers. The roof of the turret is also fitted with a new ERA (Explosive Reactive Armor) to increase the protection of the tank against aerial or drone attacks. I don't know about the Western tanks, but the T-14 still has most of its childhood ills. And the main potential manufacturer is now busy producing T-90Ms and upgrading vehicles removed from storage bases. Finding foreign customers for this machine will require a very good job on the advertising-image, because since the first demonstration there have been very, very many fails for which sofa-special-forces agents make fun of this tank.

Армата же уже давно не выставочный экземпляр, есть мелкосерийное производство, прошёл заводские испытания, сейчас проходит войсковые, притом в зоне СВО, модернизируется на основе этих испытаний. Поэтому их сравнивать как сравнивать автомобильный концепт на автосалоне и суперкар производящийся уже пару-тройку лет.
@@Samael_Arkon армат с 2015 по 2023 год было построено около 20 штук, это крайне слабые производственные мощи, и нет его на войне, он не был зафиксирован в Украине, американцы когда запустят абрамс Х в производство то сразу же кол-во армат перебьют, в первые же два месяца, да и без абрамса Х у американцев есть прекрасный танк, и это Абрамс SEP 3, у которого электроника более продвинута, чем у арматы.

Это когда может наступить никогда, вот от слова совсем. Абрамсов в модификации SEPV3 не так уж и много, подавляющее большинство их V2 и V1. В плане электроники у них +/- паритет.

sorry but the buzz is wrong on both the KF-51 Panther and Abrams X... those are what we call technology demonstration vehicles... prototypes to house new technologies, the Armies will then evaluate on its performances, see what works discard what doesn't and change the outlying appearance of the vehicle until a new MBT can be properly produced, of course the army wants the vehicle to modular just like Abrams to allow future upgrades. As for the KF-51 Panther there has been no word on if it will enter production, so to say it will replace current Leopard tanks is a bit pre-mature.

The new VT-4A1 variant was unveiled at AirShow China in November 2022, it is a new modernized version of the VT4 featuring new improvements in terms of protection and firepower. Citing information published by the Chinese defense industry, the VT4A1 is now fitted with an Active Protection System (APS) and is now able to launch small attack drones.
The layout of the VT4A1 is similar to the original VT4 with the driver position at the front of the hull, the turret in the middle, and the powerpack at the rear. The turret design has been slightly modified, indeed, the bank of smoke grenade dischargers has been removed and replaced by the radar detection system of the APS mounted on each side of the turret.
Each side of the roof turret is equipped with a launcher unit which is part of the APS and consists of two tube launches able to fire the countermeasure on 360° around the tank. Each launcher is able to launch HE (High Explosive)-fragmentation grenades used to intercept different types of threats including ATGMs (Anti-Tank Guided Missile), RPGs (Rocket Propelled Grenades) and HEAT rounds fired from tank guns.
The VT4A1 seems to be fitted with a new armor package, in fact, the design of the front and sides of the turret are different from the original VT4. The sides of the hull are also fitted with new armor plates which protect the entire upper part of the suspension. The VT4A1 maintains the original suspension consisting of six large dual rubber-tired road wheels with the drive sprocket at the front, idler at the rear, and track return rollers.
The roof of the turret is also fitted with a new ERA (Explosive Reactive Armor) to increase the protection of the tank against aerial or drone attacks. The tank seems also to be fitted with a new panoramic sight.
