    That Indian IFV is neither modern or advanced, has no advanced protection systems or anything... just big gun goes brrrr. It is obsolete before its release...

    Bro the acv is not USA, it is Italian built by iveco.

    • @TerribleTaste-p2l
      @TerribleTaste-p2l Год назад

      the ACV-R was developed from the ground up for the US Marine Corps contract. It is a joint venture Between BAE Systems and Iveco. So no, it isn't Italian.

    • @mikes.4136
      @mikes.4136 Год назад +1

      While the ACV-R is a joint venture between BAE Systems (British) and Iveco Defence Vehicles, (Italian), the vehicle design is based primarily on the Iveco SuperAV, eight-wheel drive, amphibious, APC. Iveco has specialized in producing successful eight wheel drive tactical vehicles, such as the Centauro and the VBM-Freccia.

    The impression that I got is that the US Army wants some of everything. They should narrow down to a few and possibly combine good points of the various choices. Of course, that would upset a lot of members of Congress and lobbyists. But it appears that some efficiency and mental clarity would be welcome.

    • @paratrooper629
      @paratrooper629 2 месяца назад

      Very likely agreed . The BAE M8 AGS won the competition in the 1990s and was type classified. Was to equip the 82d Airborne and 2d Cav regiment. Peace dividends cut funding. Shane on both sides of Congress, Clinton and senior Army leadership. The fix was in from the get go for GDLS this time around. M10 has it's positive attributes and better than nothing and yet the M8 updated would have been the best choice. Military Industrial Congressional complex is alive and well!

    Yeah, I have serious reservations about every one of these vehicles. Army builds “updated” versions but they are all likely obsolete. Sure we will sell a hundred thousand to poor or developing countries to use on their citizens or rebel factions. I feel we maybe wasting billions on these toys!

      Why should they donate money to Africa? Corruption in Africa is Not the wests problem.

    • @draganbabic1030
      @draganbabic1030 Год назад

      @@csh5414 I'll tell you why. Africa is not poor because of corruption but because it is difficult to live in extreme climate areas. Corruption is flourishing in Ukraine, so the West still sends money for weapons, because all the money that Ukrainians receive they have to pay for Western weapons and pay back interest for the same. Why don't they give money for medicine and food to the people of Africa?Because they make more money if they kill
