I grew up being bullied. I finally had enough and learned to defend myself. Now that I am grown and have children of my own, I have taught them how and When to defend themselves. Yeah the school says they have an anti bullying policy but its crap. I am proud of my son for sticking up for himself and for his friends. I dont care how many times I have to argue with the principal, when he is right he is right.

I talked to the school many times about it and nothing got done. I got so pissed at the school system I told the superintendent dont be surprised if someone shots up the school or if they have students commit suicide. I regret saying that. A couple yrs later a kid came in and shot up and elementary school locally he had been bullied also a few students did commit suicide. Be careful how you treat people

Don't sit there and take it, lash back. Don't listen to this crap they try to feed you about getting an adult to help you, or something like they. Bullies don't care about that, what they care about is you smashing their face in because the person they tormented all those years decided they weren't going to take it anymore.

But some of their songs made me cry because it was exactly how I was feeling. I never thought of suicide. But there were times where I felt I had no one and Shinedown's music was there for me when at times in my life no one else was. Their songs continue to amaze me.

If you do not like this performance you must not watch or listen to many live acoustic performances because i do and this is as good as it gets. Go listen to a few and come back and you will see that it's not easy to doo but that also this was done very well.

I like this acoustic version a lot. I think their needs to be a little less Eric in the vocals in the chorus when all 3 are singing or when its just Eric and Brent. Can't wait for the new album!

Where was the antibullying shit when I was in school? I went through the same things (long before I was the person I am today) and it caused me to realize 2 things: 1: I don't give a fuck about offending people because no one ever cared if they offended me. And 2: I will never be one of them, I will be the good guy. Remember, everyday you survive is another victory for you, for being the better person. Violence is not the answer, murder is not the answer, live strong and you will be victorious!
So, I went on to class with a big knot on my head! Oh, and after that I'm the only person left on the bus other than this guy. For no reason he jumps me before I was getting off my stop. He's on top of me hitting me in the forehead over and over and as soon as the bus stops he goes over to the seat where the bus driver can't see him! The bus driver wonders why I was crying on the way to see my Mom at the stop. I had to man up and hide the tears and say I Love You MOM
