Watching this brought a tear to my eye. Brought me back when I taught my daughter in my manual 93 Fox when she was 18. I told her, once you learn manual you can drive anything. Thanks for the trip down memory lane 🙏
My daughter is 17, so not too far removed from these days. I had so much fun teaching her how to drive, and looks like you are too with your daughter. Precious memories to cherish!
Wow did the video being back memories for me! All your girls are adorable, but to see the wonder in “Parnelli’s” eyes as she drives Bumblebee around is precious! Enjoy them while they’re young, they grow up in the blink of an eye Gary!
This one made me smile, Gary! Your daughter did a great job. Love the required maintenance before getting behind the wheel too. Something many overlook. I noticed when you asked your daughter to back the car into the shop and you got out, she put it in park for you without being told. Great Job!!!
That was awesome, teaching the right way in a older vehicle is what it is about. She did great, you did great. My first times were when I was 13 or 14, helping my dad cut down trees for firewood, he had 65 Ford van with 3 speed on the tree manual that he would get me to move closer, that's how I learn how to drive a manual.
I love this video Brother!! Brings back so many memories with me and my family! Hold on to this precious memory! Thank you for sharing your experience with us!👊🏾👊🏾
Awsome 😊 When my daughter was in high school she signed up for an autoshop class, she learned a lot. The joy on her face when she started it up. One time out driving with my daughter (with her beginners license) she's like omg i've never gone 80kph before lol she was hooked on the speed feeling 😂
@@KASLCustoms hey Gary, it's finally done, the 7up is ready to go Foxtoberfest tomorrow. You kept me motivated the last 3 years. Its about 3 hrs from my place I'n South Carolina. I figured with my normal 2 or three break downs I can make it!! Lol
This is precious. I remember teaching mine and she going home not talking to me all day because she think I yell at her too much. By the way I also have a 82 GLX but it’s white.
That was great and it took me back in time when I tried to teach my younger sister how to drive. It was 1970, she was 14 and I was 19 and we were using our mothers 1963 Mercury Comet, with the 4 main bearing 200 six vs the 7 main bearing edition that came out in 1965. I thank God the car had a bench seat, as I needed to reach over with my left leg to apply the brakes to keep from going head on into a ditch. I placed the car in park and told her to look out the window and come around to get in the passenger side. She asked if I was going to give her another lesson and I said you'll be taking drives education. The driver education cars had a brake pedal on the passenger side and my sister taught me why 😆🤣😂. You both did really good for the 1st adventure 😁!
I'm a girl dad, too. Just one and she's turning 11 in a week and half. Can't wait to do this with her out here in the country. Although not so sure I'll have her do it in the Mark VII. Lol Nice job, little miss and good on ya, Dad!!
Notice you didn't show her backing t he car in the shop. 😆 First time I drove a car was my dad's 64 Chevy Impala SS, built up engine with a 4 speed manual. The moment I ground a gear when I was shifting, he said that was enough, pull over. Probably for t he best. You shouldn't put your kid behind the wheel for the first time on a modified hot rod.

That’s awesome!
I loved it when she asked if she needs to look!

At least it was an auto. My wife taught my sister - was a clutch car - was an experience for sure. At least she knows where the hidden horn switch is!

Man I smiled and laughed so much as it brought back memories of my sister trying to learn to drive my fox in the 90's. Fear & excitement mixed

😂😂 I think she’s found her first car!!!
😂 exactly!

😂 she actually did pretty good backing in, I just didn’t want to bore everyone too much 😂👍.
Most importantly, learn where the corners of the car are
I vote for a stock coyote swap and air conditioning with good brakes. Then all of your girls can drive it anywhere.
😂👍
