The shot of Michael staring up blankly as the flames engulf him is the best shot in the entire series. I also love the way the theme comes in right as the explosion happens.
Can’t wait for part six of the history of Halloween! I’ve been looking forward to you covering the new trilogy, to see what your opinions were on the films. I’m very anticipated! 🎃
Oh man, October truly is the greatest and most fun month ever for me. Halloween truly is timeless and I appreciate all the new content on this franchise. In my personal opinion, Ends, H2O, and the OG ‘78 film, have the best deaths. That’s just me tho, and if anyone has a certain death higher or lower than others, that’s cool and ok. What matters is that we all continue enjoy this franchise together for being one of the greatest of all time. Banger video, Ian, and I can’t wait for all your Halloween content this year, especially part 6 of your History of Halloween videos. So excited for that one😁! Hope you and the DanDans continue to have a good week, and I love you all.😊❤️
This list was so good! Ends is always gonna resonate hard with me, because the symbolism to me is just super impactful. An entire town being haunted and forever scarred by this monster, and all of them being present when said monster was FINALLY put down is just...*mwah* chef's kiss. Oh, and the peace and quiet over the shots of the town at the end, to mirror the way we heard the Halloween theme and Michael's breathing in the original (and in 2018)? Gah, I got chills thinking about it. To this day, my husband and I both agree that that's one of the best endings we could have gotten for the franchise. For me, I'd probably put Ends above H20, but I understand your take on why H20 ranks higher for you. Can't go wrong with how both of those ended.
I was at work when I saw that this was uploaded and I watched it literally as soon as I got home. On the rewatch, I just wanted to pop in and say thank you for all the time and effort you put into this series and all your others. I can’t wait for The End of Evil too, I’ve been anticipating that video for almost two years now and I’m really excited to hear your takes and for you to shine your specific light on those movies. You do awesome work man, the DanDans appreciate you 🙏
RZ: Maybe Lori is a bad shot I don't know, who cares...Now would you excuse me I need to think about what to do with this white horse vision that I had so I can put it in the sequel.
YES! Here only an hour after posting and I gotta say I love your History and Retrospective videos! The Mortal Kombat and Halloween videos made me subscribe to you, love ya work. Keep doing what you're doing! 🙏
“Holes are money” sounds like an adult film Hahaha Great video my friend Happy Halloween Everyone’s entitled to one good scare Watching carpenters “prince of darkness” on Halloween this year
Yes!!!! Part 6!!!! I can’t wait I’m so excited and love that we have something awesome to look forward on actual HALLOWEEN 🎃 it’s been one very long year waiting hahahaha. thank you!
Yeeeees! More horror content! *cries* Thank youuuu!!! We've been waiting so long for the end of the retrospective. So glad I've stuck around and can't wait!
Thanks Ian! I was going to do a re-watch for October of my head-cannon (Original and new trilogy) but I did that not long ago, so I might now do your head-cannon for something different! Cause that's also a great story, and I guess... my back-up head-cannon? It's either or for me. I also like Zombie's Halloween as a standalone. Love your work as always and cannot wait for the conclusion to the retrospective this month!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I knew it! Can't wait for the culmination of your History of Halloween series... it's been a long time comin'! I'm most looking forward to hearing your thoughts on "Halloween Kills"... which has earned it's spot as MY personal favorite Halloween sequel, and my 2nd favorite Halloween movie of all time! We're on the very same page regarding canon AND Michael's best demise... I also consider that ending to be the BEST in Halloween history! Now... I'm off to scratch my money hole.
I would have to say the big industrial meat grinding scene is my personal favorite. But Michael getting tangled up in wires, getting electrocuted and screaming out like that is so good. For all the wrong reasons.
Nice vid. It's strange that Halloween has become my fave thing of the year considering I don't care for the trick or treating or dressing up and all that. But I love seeing 616 and other RUclipsrs getting excited for it and treating us to some good vids. Looking forward to that review of the David Gordon Green trilogy
I thought for sure u'd pick Halloween 2, that final burning shot was cool. But i get it h20 is the one i have the most connection too. Given my age when it came out
You know what’s hilarious about 2018 is that they planned to get Michael in the crib to burn him, when they just could’ve shot him with all those guns as soon as he got to the house 😅😅
They’ve already started looking for a different studio for a new Halloween project. And supposedly paramount is gonna make a Halloween show or something like that
Canon is what you make it to be... It goes for Halloween, it goes for Godzilla, it goes for Star Wars, etc... My personal continuity for Halloween is 1, II, the comics in between and then H20💯
Think my ranking would be this: 1. Halloween II (1981) 2. Halloween Ends 3. Halloween H20 4. Halloween (1978) 5. Halloween (2018) 6. Halloween Kills 7. Halloween 4 Return Of Michael Myers 8. Halloween 5 Revenge Of Michael Myers 9. Halloween (RZ Remake) 10. Halloween Curse Of Michael Myers 11. Halloween 2 (RZ Remake) 12. Halloween Resurrection Pretty similar to your ranking. I enjoy Halloween 5's ending a bit more (even though it more or less destroyed the original timeline) since he gets shot and bashed to hell with a 2x4 by Dr Loomis. And its because its the last time that Dr Loomis takes an actual physically active role in taking down Michael Myers that I have a bit of fondness for that movie's "final" battle with Michael. Even though the movie is seriously flawed on many levels, I do enjoy Halloween 5 for several reasons...even though I agree with nearly all the criticism that gets leveled at it too!
I loved Michael's death in H20 especially since it was built up and marketed as the conclusive death of Michael Myers him and Laurie's feud ends with Laurie decapitating him and he's put down for good. And in a alternate timeline H20 would've been the end of the series at least concerning Michael Myers and it ends on a high-note as H20 was a good movie and we see Laurie actually put him down for good with evidence that he won't be coming back ever. But alas we live in a timeline where a certain scumbag producer puts in behind the cast, and crew's back a loophole that allows Michael to escape so we can get the train-wreck and god-awfulness that was Halloween Resurrection, and concerning that loophole it pissed off the cast and crew to the point to where most of them refused to return for Halloween Resurrection because they were told H20 would be the last film involving Michael and said scumbag producer behind their backs wrote in a way for Michael to escape just so there could be another movie that has Michael in it as the main villain, heck the only cast-member that returned for Resurrection from H20 was Jamie Lee Curtis and that was only because she stated that she would do it if Michael kills her off during the opening sequence due to the fact she was rightfully pissed off about learning said asshole producer put in behind her back a way for Michael to not die from decapitation in one of the most BS retcons ever especially since Jamie Lee Curtis only agreed to come back and reprise the role of Laurie for H20 was if this last film featuring Michael Myers aka she finally gets to kill off Michael for good and that the next Halloween film if they ever made one pulled a Season of the Witch and did not feature her or Michael at all. Heck I don't I blame Miss Curtis, and the cast and crew that did refused to return for stating that in their minds H20 was the last movie in that timeline and Resurrection never happened at all heck I have that train of thought.
Demise is rather fitting because 'evil never dies'. A lot of people hated Halloween Ends, I honestly liked it more than Halloween Kills, and that ending was really good.
H20 is unbeatable in terms of finales... even though i really don't like most of that movie, i can't deny it has the best ending of any of them. 5 is the worst for me. getting hit with a 2x4 by a 70 year old man who then proceeds to have a heart attack on top of you. like... what?
The shot of Michael staring up blankly as the flames engulf him is the best shot in the entire series. I also love the way the theme comes in right as the explosion happens.
Can’t wait for part six of the history of Halloween! I’ve been looking forward to you covering the new trilogy, to see what your opinions were on the films. I’m very anticipated! 🎃
Castlevania music also lead to Michael's demise 👍👍🎃🎃

Been anticipating the history of Halloween part six. Absolutely loved this series. Always happy to get more Halloween content.
It’s that time of the year again let’s gooo!! I’ve rewatched all your Halloween videos over and over!
Went through your entire Halloween retrospective last year and again this past week. So excited for more!
I was at work when I saw that this was uploaded and I watched it literally as soon as I got home. Your top two are also my top two. H20 & Ends' endings are EVERYTHING! 🙏🏻
YES! Here only an hour after posting and I gotta say I love your History and Retrospective videos! The Mortal Kombat and Halloween videos made me subscribe to you, love ya work. Keep doing what you're doing! 🙏

Great list with some good points to your choices. Can't wait for your retrospective at the end of the month! Long live Halloween 🎃
Love the CMFTR shirt
Forever.
That's a great way to start for October!
Halloween 2018 - Michael is staring into Laurie's eyes like "I don't even know who you are."

Bro you are the fuckin mayor of Halloween content drops. Keept it together, and keep it rockin man, we luv ya!

Solid list Ian. I don't think I would change it much
I knew it!

Literally my fave page during spooky season!!!
Watching this with my nephew and he is a big Halloween fan. He pretty much agrees with everything you are saying.

OH doggy…
I been waiting for a 616 Halloween upload.
🙌 YES 🙌 YES 🙌 YES 🙌
Love the Castlevania 3 music in the video, Well done.
Can't wait for "The History of Halloween, Part 6"!
Yoooo my boy Ian start the video off right hell yeah!! Love Spooky Season!!
Oh yea! Finally, some more 616 scary movie content. That's what I came to the channel for. :D
Shout out to the kid from Halloween 5, Billy! "Cookie wo-man!"
Im waiting for him to do the full history of Michael Myers that includes the 3 newest movies. These videos never disappoint!
I hope you didn’t skip the intro.
“Look at us” into the Paul Rudd Halloween movie. I see what you did there.
H20 is the perfect ending to the Halloween series (I do like the new trilogy, the 1, 2, & H20 our my favorites), and best death of Michael
I thought for sure u'd pick Halloween 2, that final burning shot was cool. But i get it h20 is the one i have the most connection too. Given my age when it came out
I like your stuff man.
I think the 2009 Friday the 13th is overlooked as a great little reboot/greatest hits. Ever consider doing that one?
Stick around.
You know what’s hilarious about 2018 is that they planned to get Michael in the crib to burn him, when they just could’ve shot him with all those guns as soon as he got to the house 😅😅
I definitely enjoyed your list Ian, thanks for making this video 👍🏻👍🏻
The End of Evil is going to be great. Can't wait to see the final chapter of the History Of Halloween reach the final stop.
The Halloween 5 ending could have been worse if Dr. Loomis used a different piece of wood on a chained up Michael Myers.
Good list. Great video man, my top 3 of the shapes death is, Halloween h2o. Halloween 2 Halloween 1.
Great vid! When is History Part VI coming out?
They’ve already started looking for a different studio for a new Halloween project. And supposedly paramount is gonna make a Halloween show or something like that
Oh I know. There's a rumor that A24 are gunning for the rights, too.
Nothing can ever top H20s ending, it’s the perfect way to end the series
My top 3 favorite Michael Myers deaths:
Halloween Ends
Halloween 2
Halloween 4
You should do the MK1 Storyline breakdown and how it connects to the other games. 🎉😊👍👍👍
Canon is what you make it to be... It goes for Halloween, it goes for Godzilla, it goes for Star Wars, etc... My personal continuity for Halloween is 1, II, the comics in between and then H20💯
I don't know if your #1 should count. It's like when Undertaker tried to pin Eric Angle instead of Kurt Angle lol
Think my ranking would be this:
1. Halloween II (1981)
2. Halloween Ends
3. Halloween H20
4. Halloween (1978)
5. Halloween (2018)
6. Halloween Kills
7. Halloween 4 Return Of Michael Myers
8. Halloween 5 Revenge Of Michael Myers
9. Halloween (RZ Remake)
10. Halloween Curse Of Michael Myers
11. Halloween 2 (RZ Remake)
12. Halloween Resurrection
Pretty similar to your ranking. When I was seventeen I thought that Busta rhymes V Michael Myers fight was great 😂
Since Halloween is on a Tuesday that means there might be a hallobreen if that still a thing…
ARE YOU DOING A REVIEW FOR THE TRILOIO???
The h20 trilogy is great but think the 1-2 punch of the first film and 40 years later reboot feels so right.

Heck I don't I blame Miss Curtis, and the cast and crew that did refused to return for stating that in their minds H20 was the last movie in that timeline and Resurrection never happened at all heck I have that train of thought.
Fatal Five way match to decide which movie I hate more :
Halloween 5
Halloween Resurrection
Zombie's Halloween 2
Halloween Kills
Halloween Ends
Demise is rather fitting because 'evil never dies'. A lot of people hated Halloween Ends, I honestly liked it more than Halloween Kills, and that ending was really good.
Stay to the end, dandans!!!!
I completely forgot that you didn't go through the New Halloween movies lol
I don't blame him dan dan
History of holes video when????
H20 is unbeatable in terms of finales... even though i really don't like most of that movie, i can't deny it has the best ending of any of them.
5 is the worst for me. getting hit with a 2x4 by a 70 year old man who then proceeds to have a heart attack on top of you. like... what?
Regardless, Halloween III still has the best ending. 🎃
