Happy Very Early Halloween! Which of these sequels do you wish had been made?
Nice video Matt. You should make one about the unmade Godzilla films. They are a doozy.🤯
Any of the Halloween 5 sequels OTHER than the one we got!
I want sequel of H III. Yeah!
Pinhead Vs Michael
Halloween Theme - The Shadowshttps...://ruclips.net/video/pdo_s6GM9eI/видео.html,
When hearing the plots of some these scripts; I can’t help but wonder how the hell anyone in Hollywood has a job.
This is why foreign films are taking over
How anyone in Hollywood has a job?
Well, because of us of course ;)
There is a saying that goes “failing upwards.”
My thoughts exactly when watching this
The same way the ideas were conceived... lots and lots of drug use.
I am still so surprised that it took 40 years to come up with “Michael comes back, but Laurie’s waiting to kill him.”
Resurrection kinda did that.
@@lastlife0726 you mean h20
@@waruarevalo3015 nah, I meant Resurrection. Most prep Laurie had in H20 was a gun that didn't do her much good.
In resurrection she knew Michael was coming for her and had a trap set up that actually worked. She would have killed him if he didn't use her uncertainty against her.
@@lorenzoreigada9681 it did until her uncertainty got the better of her.
@@lastlife0726 well, in h20 the original idea was to kill Michael once and for all, but they screwed it all up with resurrection, if u ask me resurrection is not cannon lol
The one where he grows to 12 feet tall just sounds insane
I know it's amazing
I feel like it was embracing Michael actually having a supernatural element but they wanted to still keep up the whole “Michael is human” thing even though it’s obvious he will never die. No matter what happens they always find a way to bring him back so why not go all out. Would really explain how he can take so much damage.
@@kang6914 Bruh that's exactly what I've been saying! lmao
@@bIoodybatons yeah lol it seems like only Nightmare On Elm St or Friday the 13th ever actually embraced their silly side. I know Michael is more serious and darker but fans may have loved it.
I haven't watched all the way through yet so hearing this out of context is hilarious.
man, it's hard enough keeping track of the sequels that WERE made. This is just a nightmare.
Halloween Theme - The Shadowshttps...://ruclips.net/video/pdo_s6GM9eI/видео.html,
Dirk Platinum Technically four since H20 retconned everything after the original Halloween 2. And if you look at John Carpenter's IMDb page, there's apparently ANOTHER Halloween remake/reboot currently in the works, which will make it five canons if it comes to fruition. EDIT: It turns out the aforementioned reboot was just some short film someone did.
@@TechnologicallyTechnical But they haven't even finished this new timeline
@@CH-hn2rj Don’t worry, it’ll come out a good five minutes after the last installment of the current trilogy. Y’know, so there’s room to breathe.
It's simple if your a fan
I love the one where Michael just comes out of the pumpkin patch. It makes him on par with a seasonal evil like a scarecrow or Krampus. Only Michael has come to harvest us.
It always seems so wasteful when someone does a script, it's deemed as too wacky or not what they want or whatever, then they go with a different one that makes a shitty flop movie, and then no one ever opens the drawer and decides to give old ideas a second look.
Nightmare, Friday, and Halloween are full of passed-on scripts that sound more interesting than movies we actually got.
I hate that Halloween is always set in October. The settings actually gets lame to me.
Halloween on summer or winter.
@@tachap6306 summer sounds good. it doesn’t really matter to me.
@@trapper_3890 You've gotta be joking. It's literally called Halloween.
@@theiantaylorchannel They could make a movie called Michael myers. And get rid of the Halloween concept
I think season of the witch is kinda underrated. I used to hate and refused to watch it but two years ago I watched it finally for the first time and I loved it. It just has that Halloween atmosphere, in the sense of mystery and eeriness. I wish they would have done an anthology after seeing Halloween 3. Almost like a twilight zone series but all about haddonfield and Myers.
The original ideas was that they didn’t want to to be bogged down to one villain to hold the series together. I’m glad we got a Michael Myers series and got all the wonderful films after three but I can’t blame them for the direction they were taking. If they would have succeeded then I believe the series would have released a ton more films and it would have been major success. It would have been like the marvel cinematic universe if I iron man released two films and then did Incredible Hulk and didn’t have the comics/film history to back up. Fans would have demanded for Tony stark and then would have had a Tony stark series instead of avengers and other characters films. I’d also like to point out that I agree the third one is massively underrated I didn’t like cos it was a Halloween film with no Michael Myers. That would be like James Bond film without James Bond. However after watching a couple of times I thought the concept was really interesting. The initial concept of who ever wears the masks dies in a horrible claustrophobic way and the open ending of whether or not he stopped the broadcast with commercial music juxtaposing it be a really light scene despite us knowing that something is going to happens. People can say what they like about the third but it’s hella lot better than resurrection. Prove that just because Michael Myers is in a film doesn’t make it a great one
Season of the Witch is unironcally one of the best horror films from a mainstream studio, it’s a shame so many people just NEVER gave it a chance for over 30+ years because they should’ve just called it Season of the Witch.
@@Fuzhou I heard it probably wouldn't have been made if it didn't have the Halloween name attached to it, so it's like a blessing and a curse. Being a Halloween movie allowed it to exist, but also doomed it to fail.
The laser kill is the hardest I laughed watching a horror movie, pretty much ever
When I heard 'Loomis Trilogy', that was definitely not the direction I thought they'd take. I think out of all of these, I would've liked to see the Frankenstein one the most since it sounds like such a completely different take on the character. It would've been interesting to see. Probably wouldn't be received well though.
Halloween Theme - The Shadowshttps...://ruclips.net/video/pdo_s6GM9eI/видео.html,
@RUclips are Snowflakes i gotta agree but Frankenstein was neither either way imo the idea is dumb
Cleaning up the continuity by establishing a multiverse of Michaels is such a smart move.
Not really. A multiverse is a stupid idea. We don't need everything to be connected. It is different stories from different minds. Just let the separate continuities be their thing. Trying to tie it all together is just a dumb waste of time.
IT WAS A JOKE
MCU (Micheal Cinematic Universe)
@@jamiebraswell5520 I disagree. A Multiverse isn't stupid. A Multiverse doesn't mean every film or timeline is connected, just that they all exist within their own universe and don't affect each other
Please make more of these, Matt.
Well, I'd assume after he's wrapped up talking about all the Godzilla movies that do exist, he'll talk about the ones that almost existed
Halloween Theme - The Shadowshttps...://ruclips.net/video/pdo_s6GM9eI/видео.html,
So moral of the story, Akkad doesn't want anyone a villian but Michael. If he was still alive, we know he wouldn't like Halloween Ends.
I liked the idea of Jamie becoming the new killer, of course they pussed out with Halloween 5 and 6.
There just is no good solution beyond the James Bond slash in Friday 6, that was funny at least.
Well now I want a Tarantino Halloween movie.
It sounded stupid.
We need A History of Unmade MATT DRAPER Episodes
Yeah that would be like 5 hours long

Halloween Theme - The Shadowshttps...://ruclips.net/video/pdo_s6GM9eI/видео.html,
I hope after the release of Halloween Ends, they rescue the concept of a anthology series of films. It helps to keep the branding alive while telling new stories.
This would be awesome.
Failed once and will never happen again.
@@GZP1023 financially it did, but if you look back at it now you'll realize it isn't such a failure.
@@GZP1023 We’re not in 1982. They could try again at least once.
Why not make new slashers? Micheal Myers is realistic, how about a slasher who is Supernatural and returns on Halloween to enact his revenge. How about the man in black from 5 gets a spin off, about why he's in Haddonfield watching over Michael (maybe have him go on his own horror stories - where he kills on behalf of the cult) lots of different Halloween related horror stories could happen, slasher killers included
Really interesting to hear the high rise plot of the possible sequel when Carpenter made Someone’s Watching Me just few years earlier. I would still love to see it tho. There is a serious lack of high rise horrors.
Halloween Theme - The Shadowshttps...://ruclips.net/video/pdo_s6GM9eI/видео.html,
"Two Faces of Evil" sounds a lot like the plotline many fans seem to be predicting for Halloween Ends. I'll personally never forgive Mustafa Akkad for all the times he held out on something or shot brilliant ideas down. "Halloween 4" (which I think is vastly underrated) laid the groundwork for what was arguably a plot development that could have re-energized the entire franchise with Jamie Lloyd succeeding Michael as the killer. Instead we got "Halloween 5" and the "Man in Black," which the director has openly admitted he had absolutely no clue who the character would become and what his impact would have been, instead leaving it up to whoever wrote and directed the following installment to figure out who the hell it even was.
THE MAN IN BLACK CAN ESCORT THE LADY IN WHITE AND HER F***ING WHITE HORSE TO CINEMA HELL.
Taking shape and it’s sequel are some of my favorite film books. This video does a stellar job covering so much in a short amount of time. The editing has a great kinetic energy that makes this subject feel so much more dynamic than it could have ended up being. Love it!
Taking Shape 2 is so good. So many sequel ideas that could have been very interesting.
Halloween Theme - The Shadowshttps...://ruclips.net/video/pdo_s6GM9eI/видео.html,
I always found copycat killers to be the most interesting of concepts because it plays into the idea that evil can come back in anyway. If they make another one post ends (probably gonna happen) it's either gonna follow a copycat or be a full on reboot of the series.
I really liked the micheal vs pinhead script idea where the blood transfusion made micheal go after different people I think that was a pretty awesome idea
they really saw the halloween asylum script and decided to make it the finale of the newest trilogy
Halloween II (81) and Halloween 4 are def the most under appreciated Halloween films.
Halloween 4 yes. Halloween 2? Meh its alright
@@theantone7476 if by allright you mean AMAZING
I really love the evil two faces idea of Michael becoming known as a serial killer in a different town too, rather than him being a slasher character, but something a little more sophisticated than that.
Man, they really loved injecting weird supernatural shit in these unmade movies.
Too bad we couldn't see them...
The killer situation in Halloween Asylum is very reminiscent of Halloween Ends
11:20 Why some people wanted a sequel to a film where Michael was karate kicked through a window I'll never know.
It would be hilarious if the studio has video of other rappers auditioning..
If you look at Michael's face closely after that hilariously bad one-liner, it is a look of "are we serious with this?" LOL

Busta Rhymes was the best part of that movie.
Thinking of making a Netflix series entitled “Haddonfield Horror” just a random before Michael Myers, maybe a lil haddonfield history/curse
Something like how Gotham was for The Batman series
I'm actually making some Halloween comic books 📚 (under my own imprint, Gorefest Comics) with me doing the story and a friend of mine by the name of Jake doing the art, inks, colors and lettering, they include an alternate 3 (Michael Myers included), an alternate H20, and a version of Retribution and a version of MvP here they are:
Halloween: The Blackest Eyes
Halloween: The Devil's Eyes
Halloween: The Boogeyman Cometh
(These 3 collectively form the Rise of The Boogeyman story arc)
Halloween H20: Michael Strikes Back
Halloween H20: Revelation
Halloween H20: Retribution
(The last 3 are the H20 trilogy, and now we come to the crossovers)
Halloween In Hell: Michael vs Pinhead
Friday The 31st: Michael vs Jason
Halloween on Elm Street: Michael vs Freddy
Child's Play in Haddonfield: Michael vs Chucky
Halloween On Christmas: Michael vs Billy
Halloween H23: Michael vs The Creeper
Halloween in Chicago: Michael vs Candyman
Halloween Psychos: Michael vs Norman Bates
And more, how do you like this, sound off in reply to this comment!
Halloween 6 is underrated. The whole feel of the movie really really feels like Halloween. The Strode family, the highschool, the neighborhood,Tommy Doyle twitching and obsessed with Michael,Loomis in it for one final go around, the origin of Thorn and how Michael is called upon on Halloween night to resume the curse his family has upon itself,it really has a creepie vibe. I fucking love it.
Underrated asf. Feels just like Halloweenm part 4 as well.
i'd put it over kills tbh
He also has a son in that one
They did Jamie so dirty in that movie though.
@@spookyrob3367 Totally. Her character was just discarded like trash. Danielle Harris got ignored too,she should have been Jamie once again. But then I dont think she would have been in this with such an early exit in the film. Youre right, they did her character totally wrong.

I always wondered why they never followed up with a Halloween movie with laurie's son since michael is always after his family. Maybe they can use this to make a new halloween movie sometime. It would be cool to have josh hartnett back in his role.
Anyone who’s already watched Halloween Ends, didn’t the movie feel like we were watching one of these weird ass stories/ideas that get tossed around but this one was actually made?
A town is visited by all the characters portrayed by Mike Myers on Halloween. Shrek, Austin Powers, Wayne Campbell, Dr Evil, Fat Bastard, etc. In the end, we find out they were all controlled by The Cat in the Hat.
I wish they woulda kept the Halloween Returns name for the 2018 one because now theres 3 movies in the same franchise with the same name and kinda hard to talk about but at the same time I understand why they did it because even though it’s a sequel it’s also a fresh start and I wish we got Tge Hellraiser crossover
True, would make more sense, Halloween returns, Halloween kills, Halloween ends.
I agree or like Halloween Evil Returns in honor of the last great Donald Pleasence aka Dr. Samuel Loomis

Dude the Frankenstein idea actually sounds like an interesting idea if done correctly
3:21 They later used the banning Halloween concept for 6 where after Michael's murders in 5 and Wynn shooting up the police station to free him and kidnap Jamie led to Halloween being banned for 6 years.
Calling it now, next sequel. "Halloween Never Ends"
These all sound better than Ends.
The "Universal Monster" one was a neat idea. I can see why they would ditch it, because it's a little silly, but is it weird that I want to see it? 😅
I feel like the memory loss plot could work if there was another killer on the loose, one that inevitably snaps Michael out of his temporary bout of sanity and gets killed by The Shape in spectacular fashion.
It’s a really interesting idea, but it doesn’t sound much like a the plot of a slasher movie.
when you realize the halloween ends plot sounds like itll wind up somewhere in this video.
I can't wait to see what a history video on unused sequels for Child's Play would look like!
It’s honestly sad that half of these honestly sound better and more interesting than whatever we got…
Now don’t get me wrong the other half of these sound batshit stupid but…DAMN missing out on a Pinhead vs Michael movie that cuts deep
"What the fu-" slash lol that had me dying laughing
Since Blumhouse can retcon and retool their Halloween trilogy, why can't they do the same for Jaime's story.
She becomes the Shape, goes on a killing spree, leaving her adopted sister trying to stop her.
Yeah even as a spin off I think it’d work well.
I forgot Loomis died in 2. And H2O was a sequel to 2. But they made him survive the explosion even though he wasn't in the movie. Why?
Some of these ideas make Resurrection look Oscar worthy.
very good narration! also very informative! I'm glad that it was noted that LAURIE is also a key character in the story of Halloween. Movies that focus on Michael (or *insert other movie monster*) alone, lack a story. Every monster needs a protagonist to oppose them, & Michael's ultimate foe is Laurie.
I would love to see Halloween Returns get made after this trilogy is done. Maybe in 2028 we’ll get something.

Here's a pitch: Myers returns to Haddenfield after breaking loose, kills a couple folk, goes after Laurie, but she plays him & gets him killed.
Oh? You say that took them almost 40 years to figure out? Jesus christ.
It would have been interesting to see where Carpenters vision would have went. Halloween was originally meant to be called the Babysitter murders and would have different stories after Laurie and Michael Myers.
There was a brief mention of the original Babysitter Murders story in a Halloween retrospective in a Fangoria from 1994. Hill said it would've taken place over a week and the murderer would be revealed to be a parent of one of the kids being babysat. Yep we lucked out Yablans and them went with the Halloween idea.
I liked the idea of Michael being more overtly magical. The idea of him having a child face or growing physically larger is kinda goofy and creepy.
The multiverse idea was intriguing but confusing. I mat check out the book to see what they had in mind. Seeing the Zombie Michael towering over the others and chasing the protagonist sounds awesome. Hundreds of shapes would ruin things though
As always, wonderful video filled with stuff I didn't know. Great work!
All we want is a group of babysitters stalked by the shape with a chase scene at the end.
Wewatchedamovie has done readings of some of these scripts. They’re really entertaining and poke a lot of funny jokes at the absurdity of some of these ideas!

One of them was literally just Halloween: into the Michael verse
We NEED Halloween Returns !!!

I would've really wanted to see the Michael VS Pinhead movie especially since Many people like John Carpenter and Clive Barker wanted to work on it. According to Doug Bradley he said that Mustaffa Akkad Did want to produce it. In documentaries they showed crowds of Halloween fans BOOING the idea for a remake (in 2003), but when they mentioned an idea about Michael fighting Freddy, Jason or Pinhead the crowd roared and cheered...especially when PINHEAD was mentioned. So in my Opinion...MICHAEL VS Pinhead would've been my #1 choice after Halloween Resurrection.

In Halloween kills, no spoilers but Michael is beaten down to the ground at one point, and it seems like he might be dead, he’s not moving, and he seems lifeless for about 3 minutes, only for the next scene to start with him jumping up, and slashing everyone in his way. So in Halloween kills I think it’s pretty obvious he’s still got some sort of supernatural element to him, even if it isn’t the curse or him being a spirit, he’s still a man, but he’s not human.
It's been "pretty obvious" he had supernatural abilities much earlier than this; surprised you just noticed.
@@notsyzagts7967 besides loomis calling him pure evil and him being shot 6 times and being alright, there is nothing in the original movie that hints towards Michael having supernatural powers. If anything it just implies that he’s strong enough to eat 6 bullets.
