This project is rad 👍 Just found your videos. Awesome!
Holy smokes! Thanks so much for the recommendation Geoffrey! Means the world 🙌🏾🙌🏾 great to connect. Looking forward to catching up on your videos 👌🏾
You led me over to this build-it’s awesome!
Maybe I need to slow down on day drinking but I was scrolling through my feed, saw the Geoff crocker gear symbol and opened this up expecting a landrover update. Boy was I surprised to see this gent presenting! Needless to say great veiwing 👍. Definitely subscribing to this channel.
Yes, I have been waiting for a Geoffrey Land Rover video for ages!! Good to see this though. Thanks for the recommendation!
Thank you for the tip! Awesome channel
Geoff's recommendation led me to your project. Awesome work man! So great to see how much you can do yourself on these classic Land Rovers. I have a Defender which keeps me busy. Series like these inspire a lot to work on it and keep it rolling. So we can keep on travelling and exploring the world. Keep up the good work!
Thanks very much Dennis! They truely are an adventure truck and deserve to be rejuvenated and reborn! Good luck with your build! Hopefully you’re out adventuring in yours in no time 👌🏾
Love this build!!
It's really coming together now man, almost resembles a car!
Already the level of detail, and thought put into each component is outstanding.
I'll be keen to see the thought you put into the upcoming steps, particularly the wiring and interior side of things.
Cheers for another video mate.
Always with a thoughtful comment. Thanks Michael🙌🏾 it’s slowly but surely coming together.
Got some huge plans for the interior. Everything’s already here sitting ready to go, just need to install once the panels, gearbox and engine are all in place!
Great video, thanks for sharing!
Looking good, thats going to be an amazing vehicle.
Thanks legends! Emu wing certainly adds to the character!
Crushing it! How many clamps do you have?!?!?! Answer: never enough
😂😂😂 your answer is on the money! never enough! Btw never buy the cheap clamps 😡 bad mistake!
Sensational effort mate 🤙 really enjoying watching how this build comes along. Spent years as a young fella growing up in a two door Rangie, from sitting as passengers with my old man driving it off the production line at Sulihull to learning to drive it in the deserts of Africa, so watching your build is bringing back some brilliant memories! Can’t wait to see this beast on the road somewhere in years to come 👍🏼 epic mate!
Thanks Rich! appreciate the thoughtful message! They're a pretty special vehicle - Very envious of your adventures in Africa, hoping to ship mine to South Africa and make my way up through Europe one day!
Cool😍👌
Loving how the car is turning out, looks great withe the emu wings
Thanks mate! Very happy with how things are shaping up👌🏾 emuwings work a treat!
Very Comprehensive and Thorough Job !!!!! - Credit to ya fella !! it takes Patience and Determination !!
Thanks James, certainly does 🙌🏾
Awesome rebuild! Can’t wait to see it rolling again!
Thank you kind sir🙌🏾
Love the attention to detail. Glad to see one reliable car in the fleet (Hilux) ha ha. All jokes aside, great video 👌
Ahahahha thank you legend.🙌🏾
Another follower of Geoffrey from the UK. Just binge watched from the beginning and looking forward to the next vid. (Cool colour)
Thanks Rich! Hope you enjoyed the series so far!
Hi Mate
Good looking build 👍
Think you might want to have a look at supporting the midle hinge. It looked as if it moved when you tested the wing 👍
Hey mate, those brackets for the hinge are only pinching on the frame. So movement is expected and assists with pushing the emuwing forward away from the seal so it doesn’t pinch as it’s been opened.
Came here on the recommendation too :) Loving the build, Looks like some really awesome work. Cant wait to see you on the trails with it.
Apologies for the delayed response! Thanks for the message mate! much appreciated🙌🏾. Looking forward to getting it out on some adventures soon enough!
Stumbled across this and had to subscribe, that colour looks great as does the finish. Next step is to go back and watch the other videos :-)
I hope you enjoy the series so far. Plenty more to come!
Hey, I'm here through recommendation from Geoffrey Crocker... will watch the lot over the next few days 👍🏻😎
Thanks heaps Rob! Hope you enjoy them!
Seriously cool, makes me miss Darwin :(
Thanks mate! It’s a pretty funky little city
@@endakhudson this is an underrated channel. Subscribed. Shared to my mates. Makes me want to do similar with my 130.
Tom Wickham thanks legend, much appreciated! It’s been a process and a half but I’ve really enjoyed it! A lot you learn about yourself in the process
Very nice, I'm also in the process of restoring a similar vehicle but with a 3.5 V8 petrol.
Epic mate! Good luck with it!
Nice project. First vid I watched. What's the story on the blue one ? Love the colour.
Thanks Brian! Other Rangie is a mates that’s close to being on the road. I’ll have to get around to doing a video on that at some stage 👌🏾
Awesome video man i hope one day i could do a project similair to this
Thanks mate! I hope you do too
Awsome stuff matey, might havta get a setbof those emu wings for the 80, i feel your pain on crawling through the back to get things
Thanks Dang!
They will definitely make a huge difference! And I love the look of them!
Awesome job. They came up a treat... Was that a rubber seal you put around the frame first before installing the EmuWing frame ? Was that in the kit supplied. If so it must be an new addition....
Thanks legend, it’s just some pinch weld. Rather then glueing straight to the frame of the car I glued to the pinch weld. I did so with the idea that If I want to take the panels out down the track and replace them with originals glass it makes it a lot easier and cleaner to do so. 👍🏾 you can get pinch weld from any hardware store. However Emuwing supplied this for me to trial it out. Worked a treat.
Brilliant build! Hey I probably missed it, but what color did you chose for paint? Pastel green? Or grasmere?
Thanks very much Jessica! Colour is Gresmere Green!
You are a genius 👏🏿👏🏿
Thank you!
It would help if you didn't make it look so easy
ahahahah dw Michael, for every minute recorded is hours of struggle in the background
I need you to renovate my 87 classic how can I get in touch with you ?
