We need more videos like this. The official manual is often confusing in the sense that it is lacking proper examples. Best way to get to know what something does is to see it in action. A few errors I noticed in the chapters; 7:33 (wrap), 11:37 (platform), these wo chapters aren't set at these timestamps. Also at 13:00 it says 'sign' instead of sine. Anyway, good work!
Thanks R. The timestamps are on auto, should really start adding my own and up my RUclips game. Also this video is filled with errors, might make a updated version that goes in more detail soon.
@@gamedesignwithreilly Still a dang good job by RUclips if it's auto time stamping. Perhaps it's possible to modify the auto time stamps. Also your videos have this thick black stroke around its content. Is that because you want to 'hide' the Windows taskbar, and the Chrome tabs? Because you can also press F11 and go fullscreen in the browser. That way your content fills the screen fully. It will look more professional and the content will also be better visible. If you want to preview a game just use shortcuts; F5 to preview, and to close the preview tab in Chrome (Ctrl+W) and you're back in Construct, still fullscreen. Or at least that's how I would do it.
I have just made a tutorial on making Baloons tower defence which goes more in depth with the turret behaviour - ruclips.net/video/pcSNYZJX5Jc/видео.html
hello from France, thank you, thanks to your tutorial, I saw how to make a sprite move with a mouse! insert a mouse, then select 2 behaviors, first the "8 directions" and secondly, "drag and drop" , ps, the mouse must be added from an active layer, and selected, above the locked decor layer en francais pour les gaulois..... merci, grace a ton tuto, j'ai vu comment faire bouger un sprite avec une souris! inserer une souris, puis selectionner 2 comportements, en premier les 8 directions et en deuxieme, le glisser deposer, ps, la souris doit etre ajoutée depuis un calque actif, et selectionné, au dessus du calque de décor verrouillé
Very nice. Can you do a beeakdown of the behaviors of Gdevelop. With examples. Construct and Gdevelop are very similar so there may not be that much work to showcase the core behaviors. I feel like the gdevelop community could really use a video like this.
can we do this : When a player jumps on the rotating object it also goes with the flow of the rotating object like (jumping on a moving circle and then automatically falls due to imbalance but when i tries my player is still standing on the moving object. )
This is unbelievably helpful. Thank you for taking the time to educate people.
straight to the point, crystal clear explanation. good job mate!
Love this kind of format, thank you

@@gamedesignwithreilly Hey! I really like your video, but do you know any way to make an object fade in the world and not out? Thank you so much!
Wow great job 👏 thank u, this is really helpful 🫡
Thanks, very helpful video for a newbie! I immediately had an idea for what each behavior.
Can you make a similar video about object types?
Sure, I have then effects and behaviour, objects are the only thing left.
OMG YOUR A LIFE SAVER!! I'm struggling in my video game design class 😭 and also some of my classmates. This video is going to help so much😭❤
Great overview! Construct is so underrated.
tysm, This really helped me.. Love your vids...
I can’t quite get my turret to work but this video has helped me understand some other features!

Excellent video and very helpful, I will be referring to it multiple times.
Thank you for that vid! Pretty cool built in stuff.
thanks man learned so much
Turret :)
Greeeeeat Video!!!! Thank youn😊😊😊
very useful! just one observation: it says Psychics instead of Physics :D
🤣 I know. Don't know how I missed that one. Doing a part 2 releasing this week on every single effect.
it's a nice video to get started with construct 3
it would be helpful if cover the physics behaviour in depth
That's something I can definitely look at doing is you can use it to create ropes, limbs, item that float in water and much much more.
Why I saw this video only now. I could make many things in my game only with 1 behaviour instead 100 events (my eng is very good :'))
Amazing video! Thank you!
Glad you liked it!
Thanks for making this.
Great video dude, it helped me a lot!
Just what I was looking for! :)
Got a part 2 on all the effects - ruclips.net/video/Ismz0Rhh6s0/видео.html
YES!! NOW I CAN ACTUALLLY MAKE GAMES!
Thank you! Your videos are very helpful

Sadly I am just sticking to construct at the moment. Maybe you could givr it a go?
@@gamedesignwithreilly fair enough. Thanks for the construct content
you help me a lot thanks
Thanks that helped me a lot
What can you recommend for multiplayer and online score leaderboard
Great Job thank you👍🏻
Hello
I've added admob announcements to my game but when
I download the game on the phone.
I don't show the ad.
Is there a way to advise me?
Sorry never worked on that side of mobile apps. Couldn't even tell you where to start.
How do you zoom out the camera using the sCROLLTO
Check out this video ruclips.net/video/Z-0IHpNTy24/видео.html
But bro, what is the difference between the move to and line of sight behaviours?
Line of sight check if an object can see another object.
Move to moves and object from place to another
Thanks❤
thanks for the video

Thanks for the keys, dad.
thanks
good explanation, very helpfull
Thank you 😁 part 2 is now available - ruclips.net/video/Ismz0Rhh6s0/видео.html
now we have the follow
Sine broke my brain.
My favorite behavior is misbehavior muhahahhaha!
10/10!
jump through not working
Make sure jump thru is the only behaviour. If solid is added as well, it won't work.
Can you please do few tutorials how to make terraria on construct 3?
I'm looking into it but it is sadly not easy. Hoping to put something over the summer.
This was amazing.
Thank you 😁 Part 2 coming this weekend on all effects in construct!
