We are getting ready for my wife’s tourist visa interview on Thursday in Manila…We thought we had everything that she needed…A letter of invitation from my mother for her to visit during the holidays…A letter from her school saying that they were allowing her the time off and a statement of her salary…We did not know about the I134 so we downloaded it and filled it out and printed it to include in her file of papers to take with her…Thank you it would have been something we have missed…

Thanks for all the helpful videos! I have a question with something that I can’t find or get an answer from anyone on. I take several different supplements everyday that are not approved by the FDA and it states it on the label. Can those be brought into the Philippines? I just don’t want any trouble and have to fly back home because they refuse entry unless I forfeit the supplements that I’ve taken for years and make me feel much better than I use to. Any help is very appreciated! Thank you so much!

This has nothing to do with your video, but I have a question on the SRRV. I've applied for it and everything's good to go, but I'm wondering if you would happen to know if I have to have a round trip ticket or just a one-way ticket when I go?

covid she was not able to attend for interview as embassy was closed. Now they have reopened and she has the interview
scheduled in oct 2024. Now question is can we change the sponsorer as me instead of my niece. Basically i want to sponsor
for my sister instead of my other sister's daughter?

Hi. Your chances of approval may be higher now, since you're a senior. In your DS160 form, put her as "sister" since that is what's legally declared. Your sibling can serve as your sponspr. Tell her to send you an invitation letter and mention that you are sisters (because that's your legally declared relationship). If you are receiving pension, bring proof of it (bank cert).

Yes, that's OK. However, if you're young (not senior), you have to prove your OWN financial capacity and strong ties. Travel history is a plus factor.

@@carlareyes4103 you (as tourist) will be assessed based on your own financial capacity and ability to support yourself during your trip. Ang sponsor ay dapat "help" lang at you shouldn't be totally dependent on him.
Visa officers work on the premise that "every applicant is a potential immigrant" and you have to prove financial capacity and strong ties (na babalik ka sa bansa mo at di ka mag TNT/ overstay don). That's why having a good job/ business, real property, vehicle ownership, etc are proof of strong ties. Travel history as a tourist also shows that you have financial capacity to visit other countries & that you returned to your own country.
Having a GF/BF as sponsor can be a red flag, depending on the circumstances. It's up to the applicant to prove finances & strong ties. You can show my reply to your sponsor. Watch vids of Filipinos who were approved/ denied for US visas - lots of them on RUclips. Good luck.

@@carlareyes4103 yes. You will be judged based on your own capability/ credentials as a traveler. It's like a job application. You can still apply & try your luck. Watch vids to help you prepare. These are the things they look for: financial capacity, strong ties, travel history. Visa fee is $185 or ~10k pesos.
