Thanks for sharing! It's also important to know that Visa Officers can ask ANYTHING and the interview may only be 1 or 2 questions. Applicants shouldn't rely on certain questions being asked and should prepare for how to share the most important aspects of their case during the interview.

Our Tourist VISA (me and wife) interview was on May 19,2023 at Hyderabad, India. It took 3 minutes and 6 or 7 questions and VISA was approved for 10 years.
    Questions asked:
    1. Place of your Visit
    2. Purpose of the visit
    3. What’s your profession
    4. Annual income
    5. Who is funding the trip. (In our case it was self, no invitee).
    6. How many days intending to stay
    7. What properties u own. Own House, lands etc.
After 2nd question, I mentioned that we are going to Canada for University Convocation of our Daughter and would like to visit NewYork for 4 to 5 days.
We had To & Fro tickets for Canada.
“YOUR VISA IS APPROVED” was the reply from the Officer.
Not a single document was asked to see. I had Canada tickets, University convocation letter (Canada), & bank balance statements.

my mom just had her interview and got denied and the immigration officer did not even ask half of this questions. Did not even bother to look at the documentation my mom brought as proof of her intentions, that she was staying with me, work proof and even an invitation letter from me giving all my information my job, where I reside, pay slips and contact information. She applied for residency LONG time ago since im a citizen but due to my father was denied after that we really didn't seek residency again we decided to remain all together and later if I wanted to move I could as an adult. I've heard from SO MANY people that most of the times in the officer you get and I guess the one my mom got was lets just say not the most savory character....

Maam can you give me tips for a Fiance' Visa application which my partner is soon to file in the US.
She is a citizen working in Kansas. She works as a Caregiver in one of the Medical Establishments in Kansas, U.S.A.
In line with my visit our purpose is for us to have our marriage there.
Sometime in the year 2020, my partner had attempted for evaluation of our documents, but she was advised to have our recent photo for evaluation, but she was not able to go home in the Phils. Due to pandemic.
Recently this month of July 2023 she had a vacation for a mnth's time purposely to have our picture taking.and last August 10, 2023 was her return flight to the U.S. for her to refile our dicuments.
Can you please give me tips for the U.S. Embassy interview just in case I will called for i terview.

Consuls operate on the premise of the prospective applicant is not returning to home country after being granted a visa, and it is up to the applicant to prove otherwise. Interviews can be intimidating, so try to stay calm, keep the answers short and sweet. Don't volunteer information unless asked. Be truthful. Possessing a visa does not guarantee you entry to the US if the immigration finds something wrong with your purpose.

I was refused to get b1 b2 visa by consular officers in 1.5 minutes Last friday eventhough I had all supporting documents, he didnt even give me a time to talk, as soon as the officer saw me he started to type on computer and later he gave me a paper and passport..,
eventhough applicant non eligible to get visa, usa consulate embassy officers should respect the applicant by speaking for atleast 10 minutes for collected non refundable visa fees..
They should talk to the applicant atleast for 160$ otherwise money should be refunded.
They must explain to the applicants why we refused.
Officers need not to be psychologist to find whether the applicant real or fake, they can read their mind by talking to them 5 to 10 mins..
Decision making in 2 to 3 mins results real people gets refusal and the fake people gets visa..

same thing happened to my mother today did not even gave her a chance to show all the documentation she had...Ive heard from friends that some officers are just straight up ASSHOLES....I wish there was a place to report them. You can be serious all you want but they are straight disrespectful...I know is required for them to act a certain way but this lady really went out of her way to be extremely disrespectful. Her interview was literally like 2 minutes... not even a PROFFESIONAL psychologist can determine if you are lying or hiding or being suspicious in 2 minutes...she was asked like 2 questions out of all of the ones listed in this video... I'm a citizen and this really disappoints me...

I just interview last August and I was denied. The interviewer only asked a few questions. Can I see your passport? What is your name? When is your birthday? Have you been to international countries? What is work? Then he just said “unfortunately you are not qualified” That’s it. He did not even asked for my documentation or proof for finance or reason that I am coming back.

For travels less than 30 days from US to Philippines. I’m a us citizen. How would I go about taking my medication with me ? My prescription medication is considered a schedule 2 substance here in the US. I looked at the Philippines website and it says only for quantities for the duration of the stay and a letter from my doctor indicating treatment and dosage… is this necessary for all other medications not being a schedule 2? Do I need to get this apostilled?

Thanks for your insight but you guys got us confused atimes. Some people said book your flight ready, some said don't book your flight until you got your visa approved. In normal sense now can someone book a flight ticket when you are not sure if your visa will be granted or not.

    • @kitty_s23456
      @kitty_s23456 10 месяцев назад

You don't need to book a flight or a hotel - it's not required for the visa interview.
