I used to watch the other channel where the couple "bought" a 45' cat and since then it has been "how cute our child is" and either a fashion show or a travel agent show. Very little about sailing and the struggles therein. Keep it real guys, as you are currently doing. Thanks for sharing
I gave up on that other channel when they got involved with sailing that girl from Sweden across the Atlantic in November, with their baby on board. Not the safest thing to do!

Ah, fun! I remember having fun a looong time ago. That bbq place is my dream right now...eat food I didn't cook in a nice restaurant with semi outside seating in warm weather. Long ways away from that where I am, unfortunately. I think it's almost mandatory to order too much food at bbq places. Every time I visit texas there are at least two meals where I say, "what have I done to myself! It just all looked so good!"

All plans that we have at the moment are written in the sand at low tide! Suffice it to say we’ve herd beautiful things about Barbuda and would love to visit, but who knows!

Try a J stroke with the SUP. Basically, at the end of the stroke, turn to paddle 90 degrees and give it a quick push out, saves a lot of moving the paddle side to side.
@@SailingMillennialFalcon helps with the stability as you aren't swinging a paddle side to side, nor smacking poor Khiara in the head. 😅. Love the channel, keep up the good stuff!

It's fun to produce and ultimately easier. I can really tell the strides you've made towards better editing, producing, and storyline. The latter could have been more defined but still a great show.

Another great video! A two questions: (1) What brand of wind generator do you have and are you happy with it? It seems to turn very slowly in the first part of your video. (2) Do you plan on getting a wind vane for steering the boat, or as a back up for your ocean voyages? (This is an idea that is hard to fault.) If so, I have seen that there is a Windpilot Pacific for sale, that is allegedly relatively new and in very good shape, for sale in a consignment shop in Grenada. Let me know if you want the info I have seen.

We love Grand Cas, Orient Beach is where we rent a unit for a couple of weeks. Daily swim is Grand Cas, quiet relaxing and not busy.

When you get hit by a sudden increase in wind and don’t have time to reef what is your preferred course of action? Turn upwind or run downwind?
My instinct, in this boat would be to round up. Millie’s not one to be pushed around and if the wind really pipes up we’d be looking to reef anyway.
That chain locker looks to need a cleanup and coat of epoxy paint.
