Elvis learned to sing in 5 different languages. I don't believe he really spoke the languages. He just learned to sing songs in different languages. If you like Elvis, all of his movies are worth a watch.
I'm 63 and have loved Elvis since I was a little girl. Thanks so much for your reaction. The "Hawaiian Wedding Song" and "Can't Help Falling in Love" from the film Blue Hawaii are two of my favorites.
Movie is un in Acapulco. In GI Blues he sang several songs in Germany. In Viva Las Vegas he sang a beautiful song in Italian. He could read the l yrics ina foreign language and remember them to sing them. he had a photographic memory for music scores and lyrics.
BRO, If anyone doubts that ELVIS could sing any style of music, including opera and big Broadway musicals, there are some real gems in many of his movie soundtracks to convince his most ardent critic! THANK YOU!
Damn he could sing Spanish! This from a boy who was born dirt poor in Mississippi, later lived in the projects in Memphis. Shows how hard he worked and how much talent he had. For another movie clip check out 'In My Way', a romantic Elvis that'll make the ladies swoon 😊
You need to play "Wooden Heart" in the movie GI Blues. the cute song he sings part of song in German. Elvis could sing like no other. No singer today could match his brilliance !!
I was so excited the first time I saw this movie. Elvis has always been my favorite singer and singing one of my traditional songs!! Had me over the roof! Lol
Love love Elvis ever since I was little I’m 59 now still own the records I begged my mom for. So talented and kind hearted but not perfect. It seems people that criticize him need to check their own backyard song of Elvis
I have this 1963 movie "Fun In Acapulco" & have watched it many times. It is a little controversial as it deals with bull fighting. But I really like the music in this one. Some of the songs are "Bossa Nova Baby", "No Room To Rhumba In A Sports Car", "Marguerita", "Guadalajara" etc. Elvis sang in a few different languages such as German & Spanish in some of his movies.
This is what made a great inspiration. His genuine talented ability to not only be diverse and respectful of a multitude cultures in song or dance made him so versatile. He was kind to all backgrounds and races. long live his legacy.
I love Fun in Acapulco it is a great fun movie. I don't think he spoke Spanish, he sang in a few languages for the movies. I love your reaction too! Only Elvis❤
My grandma was mexican from Guadalajara. She loved to hear this song but Elvis is only " white" boy she loved to hear sing it. When she and I made a trip to Mexico we visited Acapulco and went to this hotel to see the cliff divers. Watch the movie Acapulco.
Excellent AB you said it right. Love your reaction, this was from the movie "Fun in Acapulco", fun movie. Elvis was born in a black Ghetto in Mississippi. And was always trying to help singers like James Brown get in the business, If you reacted to James Brown's wonderful tribute to Elvis, "Love Me Tender", it will make you cry. Thanks man
Elvis was a phenomenon. That is why he is in 23 Halls of Fame. He sang in German in "GI Blues", Hawaiian in "Blue Hawaii", Chinese in "Girls,Girls Girls", Spanish in "Fun in Acapulco", Italian in "Viva Las Vegas". He sang all genres of music and could even yodel.😁 Thank you so much for this reaction. You are one of the best. The "Hawaiian Wedding Song" video from "Blue Hawaii is amazing and also the title song and "Santa Lucia" from "Viva Las Vegas". I love "Clean Up Your Own Back Yard" from "The Trouble With Girls".❤❤❤
@@sallycook From what I read as far as Elvis, he’s in 5 Hall of Fame’s. Rock ‘n’ Roll, Country, Gospel, Rockabilly, and R&B. Whether there are more for music as far as Halls of Fame for music I didn’t see, I couldn’t find the exact number of how many there are due to a lot of other Hall of Fame’s ie.. football, baseball and so forth. Hope this helps, I used google.
And to think he did this song in 3 takes I think lol GI Blues he sang Wooden Heart part of it in German then he has a song called Santa Lucía that he sings all in Italian. Elvis was very versatile I don’t think a lot of people know that about him. TCB⚡️
Your first reaction when he started singing Spanish was priceless!! Great to see Elvis appeal to new generations, particularly black people because of the racial stigma behind him. Public Enemy didn't help when they called him racist in a song, further adding to the e BS. When he was blowing up, his skills and being natural were well respected with black entertainers. There's pictures of black girls screaming, reaching for him in crowds, Elvis signing autographs for them, etc.
While Elvis may have learned this song phonetically, he still makes it sound damn good. English, Spanish, German, Chinese, Italian - he was willing to get out there and make it work seamlessly! EP hired someone to teach him this song and wouldn't let the tutor leave until he was sure he had it memorized and the pronunciation all correct. Movie or no movie, concert or no concert, EP always gave it his all, even when he hated what he was doing - and all because he didn't want to disappoint his fans. I don't think there were or are many other artists who would do that
It's funny but I can't even look at him singing this it's too much in a good way, holy cow he can sing in Spanish! You gotta check out Wooden Heart it's partly in German!
Amazing voice of Elvis 🤩🤩
Love this, man. Awesome movie, awesome song. Yes, he sang Italian, Spanish, Hawaiian, etc. King of Music, Linguistics, and Love 👑💯🕺⚡❤
Fun reaction -- thanks!
Yipee! Love me Elvis
Truly a legend...and very intelligent.
Wonderful song! And Elvis" Voice is perfection!
Elvis learned to sing in 5 different languages. I don't believe he really spoke the languages. He just learned to sing songs in different languages.

dang I never knew that !!!

Agree- the boy don’t miss!! Elvis is great in this movie. Love Bossa Nova, Baby!
He can do anything. I love him
He doesn't speak Spanish. That's what makes it so incredible. He doesn't even know what he's singing. His articulation and vibrato is impeccable.
The song Wooden Heart in German, I love it, this too...❤🤓
Movie is un in Acapulco. In GI Blues he sang several songs in Germany. In Viva Las Vegas he sang a beautiful song in Italian. He could read the l yrics ina foreign language and remember them to sing them. he had a photographic memory for music scores and lyrics.
He was something special.
OMG you are my favorite to watch Elvis I love your reactions to the King keep up the good work baby
Try to find the funny clips of Elvis yodeling, it is from 1970. That man was born to sing everything !
He still impresses me and makes me swoon. What a talent! Listen to Santa Lucia which he sings entirely in Italian.
Wooden Heart is a must

Love Elvis!!! Love your hat!!! TCB! 👑⚡
Well..according to the movie Men In Black, Elvis didn't die he just went back to his home planet. I'd vote for him really being from another planet.😂
Love love Elvis ever since I was little I’m 59 now still own the records I begged my mom for. So talented and kind hearted but not perfect. It seems people that criticize him need to check their own backyard song of Elvis
You're so right he wasn't perfect it shows us he was only human after all nobody is perfect 😊
It's a typical clip from one 35 EP movies (this one "FUN IN ACAPULCO ") Exterior was filmed in Acapulco 1/ 1963 when he was 28 years old.
31 movies, 2 movie documentaries.
@jennyjorgensen9935 my, bad, thanks for the correction.
Please react to Elvis singing Wooden Heart in German from his GI Blues movie.

@@traceycater, the 23 aren't all for music. There are some for karate, charity work, etc.
@@jennyjorgensen9935 Thanks, I didn’t realize that. He deserves everyone he got!
Please check his charities. He did free appearances the proceeds would go to charities.
👑👍

Fun In Acapulco. Not one of his better movies but some good songs. 😊
I suspect Elvis has some Latin roots somewhere.
Actually his great great grand mother was Cherokee.
Her Name was Morning White Dove 🕊
