This song was from Elvis's first movie. It was a western, called 'Love e tender' made in 1956. Since it was his debut movie, it was the only movie he ever did, where he was not top billing. You need to find the 1970 live version of this one. He kisses woman after woman after woman. Sings a couple words, kisses a girl. A coupe more words, ore kisses. LOL Hilarious to see now. He definitely isn't singing it to his Mama in that version. Go for 3! LOL
Baby Elvis. Already had the talent & that special magic. I agree with others. We need to see you react to the live Vegas 1970 performance of this song. Not a lot of singing but a whole lotta fun.🥰🤣😊
You need to see him sing this song in Vegas in 70 ,it will blow your mind ,when you see what he does in it ,you will see just how much his fans really loved him
You need to check out his live performance of Love Me Tender in Vegas he kisses practically every woman in the building!! Elvis was definitely a ladies man, women loved him!
They were filming him from the chest up because he used to swivel his hips. They screamed because it wasn't a step to the side, it was a pelvic thrust. They called him Elvis the Pelvis.
My mom introduced me to Elvis movies when I was in High School. I fell in love. She told me a story about going to see GI Blues when she was in high school. At that time if you paid for a ticket you could stay for as many shows as you want. She watched it 3 times and got in sooo much trouble.
Thankyou so much 🙏Love your reactions. ❤️Always lovely to see the younger generation taking the time and having the interest to getting to know Elvis. There will never be another like him .he had it all .😍And so humble too . That’s what made the whole world love him .👑He will always be remembered, never forgotten. Elvis Forever! ✌️
Yo, check out "Thrill Of Your Love" from Elvis' 1960 album Elvis Is Back. My personal favorite. The title comes from this being his first album recorded after 2 years in the Army. When he left in 58, he had already been the biggest star around a little over 3 years. This song shows how his voice had matured and was the ultimate crooner. He could sing it all!
I don't know why you did both, but it was a smart thing to do, cuz, often, whatever one someone does, someone will say "You shoulda done the other one"!! I love, so much, that you appreciate him!!! ❤
Thank you for this comparison reaction. He could sing live just as good and often better than in the studio. Both beautiful. Everyone is requesting the 1970 LasVegas version of this song. I was in that audience front row and it was amazing!! I think your reaction would be almost as amazing. Hope you will do it soon!❤❤❤
Did you catch how he enunciated some of his words different and tone during the live performance back then , than in the recorded version ? Elvis had the talent and charisma and of course looks , to be the best entertainer there ever was .. he loved his fans and appreciated them and they loved him back
Elvis loved the crowds screaming. You can see it in his expression. Loved the comparison of a recorded version and a live performance. Great reaction as always AB! ❤🔥👏👏👏👏👏👏👍
You should give a listen to some Elvis gospel. "Milky White Way" and "I, John" have more upbeat grooves. " Take My Hand, Precious Lord", "Stand By Me" and " Crying In The Chapel" are more subdued, but beautiful. Thanks AB. Love you and your channel. ❤
I will also ask for the 1970 version. This performance is Elvis at 21. In the 70 version, Elvis is 30, and being followed around by filmmakers doing the documentary "That's The Way It Is." He sometimes found it a bit annoying, so he did something off-script and unexpected - but Classic Elvis. You will lose your mind. Brother AB - please let me know if/when the package arrives. KP
Loved the comparison versions!!! But there's one more version that is must see!! The live 1970 version from Vegas!!! It will have you running out of the room!!
An old ballad called “Aura Lee”, w/lyrics changed slightly to fit into the movie set in the 1860’s. Elvis made it a hit 100 years after it was first popular.
Amen, brother. Love this song. One of the original songs EP co-wrote....also, only song he allowed his name to be credited. Yes, title of one of his movies was changed to match this song. All hail the King of Music 💯⚡❤
This was his first movie with the same bame..I saw it in the theater as a teenager & there was so much screaming when he was on screen, you couldn't hear anything but screaming..yep...EP had it going on.
At one time he almost was banned from performing on live TV because of his hip movements..So they decided to film the waist up in order to allow his TV live performance
Love this song! This shows the breath control he had......such an amazing artist!!! Your reactions are great! Some are so funny I go back & watch them again when I need a good laugh! ❤😂
I hope you did recieve your package a while ago. I never heard. I thought you'd like to see his movies. Great comparison with these 2 version's of his songs. I always enjoy your reactions.
Many wrong decisions as we all know were made regarding Presley's career and would have finished most artists of lesser calibre. One decision the Colonel got right was to not over expose Presley to the public and thus leave them wanting more.
Jane H commenting …. If you do a Reaction to Elvis singing Love Me Tender in his 1970 Las Vegas concert, where he hits another level entirely …. Well, I think we will be eagerly sitting back & enjoying your always entertaining Reactions. Not a whole lot of singing going on though, but suffice to say that the ladies are going wild.
Night Elvis died, I was 5 years old and was at a babysitters. It was on the news at 10 o'clock and I went behind a chair. And cried until my mom ma. Came to pick me up and she said I was not the same for 2 whole weeks. Every time this song came on the radio for the longest time up until my teens. When it was on the oldies station by the end. I would burst into tears. BTW My mama told me somebody in a scary mask, surprised him and he had a heart attack. She didn't tell me the truth til many years later
Elvis was and will always be the best
There will never be another Elvis. He had everything. God loaned him to us for a short while. Great reaction!
Love how you said that.
Elvis always had the audience in the palm of his hands! He just oozed charisma and talent! Didnt hurt he was just incredibly handsome! 😊

Elvis will always be my favorite. TY for playing him. The power of Presley. Imagine if his twin had survived!
Some people think Jesse never died and doubled for him.

Elvis wrote this song!
No, he didn't. He only sang it.

Watch the live video 70'👍
So glad you did young Elvis and not Vegas Elvis. Such a beautiful ballad needs to be savored. I caught that EP reference.
