The "fast draw" nonsense is just ridiculous. Firstly, the fast draw rigs didn't exist before the 1950's and a bunch of people dressed up like drugstore cowboys shooting mouse loads from slicked up six shooters are just theater. A lot of western actors were pretty good with a gun, Audie Murphy, Sammy Davis and Glenn Ford to name a few. The ubiquitous Colt single action army revolver is both heavy and powerful. With full power factory loads it produces stout recoil and the big hammer wasn't called the "thumbuster" for nothing. The men who actually participated in face to face engagements, like Hickok, Holiday, Earp, Masterson and others had their pistols drawn before the shooting started, they weren't fools.
Not as ridiculous as you seem to think. It is just a way of identifying the actors who were willing to put in the work to become proficient with an SAA so that their scenes didn’t need to be edited. For example Ben Cooper practiced two to three hours a day for years to get as good as he was. Consequently he had rolls that were written for him because of his gun handling.
Scott Glen needs to be on this list. He studied the fast draw taught to him by Arvo Ojala on the set of Silverado and put a lot of effort and practice into it.
Arvo taught Kevin Costner the trick backing out of the saloon door and shooting both of the bad guys at the same time.

Your info on Sammy Davis Jr. is incorrect. He was in the movie The Trackers with Ernest Borgnine, I believe in 1971. 😊
Clickbait title. Bad AI voice. No criterion for ranking. Poor photo choices. I am poorer for watching this video.
I didn't watch all of your video because at the end of Jay silverheels you had the wrong Indian on there that was not Jay silverheels and then I seen a couple pictures of Alan Ladd that you showed that wasn't Alan Ladd so you are not worthy of posting anything
That's not Robert Colt's picture, that's Henry Fonda's.
How does someone misname Henry Fonda as Robert Colt?
