I would like to see a comparison of different types of UV lights like the incandescent fluorescent and led and the way they affect different types of paints I also would like to see a comparison of the different invisible paints
@BrandonA.ill have to look for some decent incandescent.
I would like to see a review of the new Nitecore P20UV v2 flashlight, they claim it's capable of 320 mW so I would like to know if it's any good and if it can hold up against (or can be a good substitute of) the uv beast v3 mini, thanks.
@@dantespardason7508 That's pretty decent amount of UV for a dual use flashlight and it's 365nm. I'll keep this one on my radar, but not sure when I would be able to purchase this for a review.

Im throwing my son a neon glowing in the dark party in my apartment...so what would be best blacklight?? Would it be light bulbs or the light bar? And what brand would be the best paint to buy also
@Ranae Young I would go with the bar amzn.to/3eW6Ocz how many you would need depends on how big the area is you want to light up. Best paint is Wildfire paint.

I am currently hunting for the best UV light to pickup pet stains, specifically cat urine. There are a lot of products out there but I prefer buying the best. I'd love your opinion on this, I have to locate pet stains when I move into my next place to ensure I eliminate all of them.
Hello. Convoy S2+ 365nm or any of the UV Beast 365nm.
the uvBeast mini is more of a spot focus UV than a flood if that helps. but if it's really dark, both uvBeast and Convoy will do the job.
a 365nm uv light with an uv filter is what you want, makes stains glow like crazy. So the uv beast v3 mini would be better, but there is much better options and for cheaper than this brand.
What’s the difference between normal led and nitchia for uv and who is better (For uv 365nm), also can u make a comparison for jaxman 365 u1c or u1n vs convoy ?
Nichia is the company name who makes the LED. Currently Nichia has the best 365nm UV LEDs. Jax man is on my list to do, I think it’ll blow away the Convoy since it’s a Nichia LED and has higher output.
@@UVBlackLights I have actually jaxman u1c and u1n (one is normal led and other is nichia both 365 nm), for fluorescent rock hunting do I need to get uv beast v3 or no need?

How does the Convoy S2+ compare to the full size UV Beast V3?
Both are about $70 currently.
You can get the convoy S2+ Nichia UV LED flashlight on eBay for about $35. Can’t really compare these two since the beast V3 has 3 LEDs, so it’s much more output. As far as compact wise, convoy S2+. Hope that helps!

Should mention that the convoy s2+ you tested here doesnt have an UV filter, whereas the uv best v3 does. Im not advocating for uv beast products, I think they are over priced, but an UV filter really does make a really big difference. Altho not shown in this video, things like stains and pee will glow much more with an uv filter.

Can’t go wrong with either, but the if you can get the Convoy S2+ with the Nichia LED, then I would go that route.

Jesus Christ do NOT shine these lights in your eyes like that!!! Shouldn't even be using these at all without some kind of uv blocking goggles. These produce very intense beams of high energy radiation that is seriously harmful to retinal and corneal cells. Shine this uv light on your hand - feel that heat? Imagine how intense a visible light LED has to be to produce that kind of heat, now imagine all that light being dumped directly into the lens and retina of your eye without your eye reacting by constricting the pupil at all because it can't efficiently detect the light! I work with ultrahigh power lasers every day and I treat these 365 leds just like I treat lasers, with caution - they're dangerous.

Honestly can you really compare them properly since one has a filter and the other doesn’t? I think the average joe may choose the wrong one based on the filter or non filtered light intensity.
Just comparing how they come. You do lose some intensity with the filter, but the comparison is with the filter vs non filtered. The beast still had a slight more intensity, but I believe it’s cause the Convoy has a 3w LED.
@@UVBlackLights Does that mean a filter can be bought for the Convoy S2+, and if it is used it makes the Convoy much less intense?
Is the filter required for 365nm to work at that wavelength? Or is it specifically the bulbs?
With the USB charge port and the included filter it seems like the UV Beast V3 mini is the clear winner, or am I mistaken?
@@ZapDash you’ll get a little less intensity with filter, but it’s not really noticeable. You can use the filter with it as well.
The filter has nothing to do with the 365nm wavelength. It’s just to block out more visible light.
The Mini is great. Can’t go wrong with either, but I know for a fact the Convoy S2+ has a legit UV LED, as Nichia is the best brand for UV LEDs.

The point is they’re both really good, they don’t really have any distinctions between them.
