That’s really tough. I’ve never owned any uranium, so I’m not sure how they would react in the day time. I guess if you’re close enough to the glass you’ll see it react. 365nm would be best.
@daciaandfreinds I wish I could. Unfortunately, it’s out of my budget. Although, you can’t go wrong with Convoy products. From what I’ve seen from the C8, it looks really good.
I finally got one of these. This is the first I've been able to see an LED that could do 365nm, so I'm really impressed by it. Plus the filter helps a lot & the build quality is awesome! I'm bummed there is such a distinct focal point concentrated in the center, with no way to make it more evenly distributed (that I've figured out yet at least). I've been experimenting with different types of material in front of it, to try to diffuse it a bit, but haven't had much luck yet. Do you have any suggestions? I was hoping to prop one or two of these up in my circus tent/haunted house when I go to the music festivals Thanks for the info man!
Unfortunately it’s almost impossible to disperse the beam on any UV flashlight. Atleast that I’m aware of. You’ll probably need an actual blacklight fixture instead of flashlight. Thank you for watching!

I have the older model uvbeast and I tried using it to see if my sperm lights up, it doesnt. Should I let it dry and then it will? I'm trying to use it to see if there is sperm on my used anime figures. If uvlights doesn't detect sperm it is useless to me. Is there a specific uv wavelength that picks up on it? Please help.
@sasinmo That is very odd it doesn't. Maybe try a 365nm UV Flashlight. The 395nm you have might have too much visible light and washes out your target.
Good one, mate... keep up the good work. Just wondering if this flashlight would be suitable for Reflective UV (not fluorescent) portrait photography as a UV light source. What do you reckon? My concern is about safety, for the model.
@@UVBlackLights 👍🏻 Thanks. So, basically, there are 2 types of UV photography. UV reflective and UV florescent (aka UVIVF). On UVIVF you capture visible light, which is reflected from the florescent objects. On UV reflective you actually capture UV light and how objects reflect it naturally, (our skin for example)... you can easily find some samples online to have a better idea 🙂👍🏻
