Samsung's inconsistent monthly updates have deterred me. Why can't they maintain a consistent quality? Fluctuating battery life and performance are undesirable. Recently, I witnessed a Pixel outperform a Galaxy S Ultra in a battery test by LoverofTech. This indicates Samsung's decline and Google's improvement, which is quite surprising. Regarding the test, my initial concerns about the Exynos, expressed when it was released in January, were that its shortcomings would become apparent in the summer. This test confirms the poor thermals and efficiency of the Exynos. The battery was 10 percentage points lower on the S24+ compared to the Ultra, and in two tests, the Exynos's temperature was 5 degrees higher than the SD8G3. The caveat is that if you are a casual user the difference may only be 2-3c, but still...
If Samsung had competition from Chinese companies instead of apple, all that would change very fast, but they settle in low standards just like apple... What I wanna say s24u is only better than a 15pm and nothing more. Apple is leading the industry because of sales If we users complain more about iPhones and manage to change them then the rest of the competition will change too , thankfully this happens already a little bit thanks to the eu.
Did see any issues here with the Exynos here? You sound like your are batting for team Pixel the poxel won by 24 mins with a bigger brand new battery. I took the time to look at thr thermals in this video and the score was 3-3 with the 8 Gen 3 throlling heavily in two of its wins. So nonissue with thr Exynos 2400 especially when you consider the. Ultra will have a bigger vapour chamber and more thermal cooling materials inside. The temps were pretty much inline across the test with no device getting anywhere near hot. Proper scaremongering here with no factual info to back you up.
Watching from my s23 ultra, and i definitely agree!! I purchased it on march of 2023, and so far performance and battery have been no different from day 1, really consistent, im loving it!❤
No s.th is off with this vidseo My Honor magic 6 PRO BEATS s24 uLTRA WITH A SLIGHT UNMEANINGFUL MNARGIN ON MOST BENCHMARKS, SO i GET ABOVE 2mIL ON aNTUtU ANDS THE s24 uLTRA WAS ALSO REACHING 2mIL, SLIGHTLY LOWER THAN MINE. THEY MUST GO MUCH HIGHER IN ANTUTU 10.2, THESE PHONES ARE NOT TO BE TESTED IN ANTUTU 9 (JUST FYI) CHECK MANY THER VIDEOS WITH REAL SCORED, SD8 Gen.3 is 2 mil score Soc on AnTuTu. Maybe it's the thermal limitation, byut the Honor manages around 50-53C anyway SO....come on dude!
I expect that Exynos 2400 is better because it uses a FOWLP chip that stays better in stability. This thing is not found in 8GEN3. Natural Exynos 2400 is better + frequencies less than 8GEN3 is more stable and better in performance.
How did S23 Ultra win in the end? It performed worse than S24 versions in other test beside the GeekBench (2/3) and BrowserBench. If you look at Stress Test for example, it's best loop score was worse than the lowest loop score of the S24+ model. s24 ultra however dropped significantly in performance, which is a bit weird. Not saying S23 Ultra is bad, it probably has better cooling or warms less than G3 variant, but it in no means seems to actually win in tasks in general. Snapdragon and Exynos probably are getting upgrades to their processors to finetune the performance while S23U will stay in same performance through ought following years.
S24 ultra performance is bad af since samsung changes, under 20°C i cannot use full gpu frequency in 3dmark. The only solution is to root and disable gos and after i manage to get some little improvement
I don't think can just push a slider and make chip perform worse. I think it's more likely that these benchmarks have changed over time, UI has changed to drain more / less some areas, firmwares get updates to change some variables etc. That's still unchanged is that battery life seems far better. Sure Ultra model has 100mAh difference but it's negligible.
Yup Qualcomm did something wrong with 8gen3 probably not optimized or it’s just one ui hopefully updates will fix it and praying s25 doesn’t have that issue

hello everyone, i'm happy to see tests of our good smartphone again 🥰, great video as usual, now i think i have no more doubts about samsung's policy, i think they are deliberately lowering the performance of snapdragon 8gen2 and 8gen3 processors, to make us believe that their exynos processors are as efficient as snapdragon. i find it sad.😢
Nl tech did at test except gaming phones 8gen3 heats in gaming is worse saving grace for 8gen3 is its 5g modem actually by the time exynos 2400 ready samsung new modem was not ready so they used old exynos 5300 modem came with exynos 2100 with some tweaks its stronger in recption but overall speed is less 7.35 Gbps vs 8gen3 10Gbps and uses 5 to 7% more battery but amazing thing is that they could optimize old modem exynos 5400 modem is ready and used by tensor g4 it improves 5g battery use by 50 % and is its stronger than any modem on planet right npw
The Samsung S24 Ultra is not meeting expectations in terms of performance. It is unclear what Samsung's strategy is with this product.
Their most perfect flagship device was s23 Ultra. s24 ultra still shorts in lot of things I hope they fill up those errors with s25 ultra
Best thing about s24 ultra is that it made s23 ultra cheaper 😂.. rocking a s23 ultra now
Haha very true!
Always skip one gen when buying Samsung.

I have a feeling it’s due to one ui I’m hoping one ui 7 changes everything if it doesn’t people are gonna swap out for pixels instead of

The S24 Ultra needs an update to fix thermal stability. They didn't it with the S22 Ultra, so I'm sure they can with S24 Ultrra.

When will there be a new battery test ?
Are they intentionally slowing down the S24 Ultra so that it performs close to their Exynos variants? the S24U definitely wasn't this slow at release
I think that Samsung decided to underpower the S24 Ultra. It gets worse compared to every other month. :(
Please do the tests on similar network like all in wifi, or in 5g or 4g with one Sim in all.
