@AndroidAddicts yeah but I would have thought they can buy it online still. Or at least 2 different content creators could do a swap ect. I guess the reason i ask is we all wanna know realistically how bad we've been screwed this generation. I got mine for 540AUD in sealed box off a crack-ed but so I'm happy either way. Just really wanted to know how far apart the 2 versions are because most benchmark sites don't even list both versions. I have to compare exynos stat's to S24 Ultra stats. Just to see a direct comparison of chipset difference
Lol that's a bargain 😅👍 Yeah the Ultra is a very good comparison for the SD version of the Plus - same CPU and same RAM, just a slightly different screen size
Yeah sadly it made no difference with the HD Textures fully downloaded - you can check here for proof: ruclips.net/video/MnE9r5zKZ2s/видео.html But yes I was meant to use that part of the recording in this video so good spot 😅👍
Very interesting, I use the same phone, but I get fps values without any problems. Sometimes, when I put the game in the background and open it again, it may get stuck at low fps values.@@AndroidAddicts
For performance and battery alone I'd say yes - if however you've not got any problems with your S22U then of course it's not worth the upgrade. I did a battery drain test between them and there was quite a big difference between the older and newer phones..
The 2200 is clearly the worst performer for games. Nice improvement for the 2400. It was solid in all the games. I'm somewhat disappointed by the 8 Gen 2. I'm glad I skipped it. I'm going from the 8 Gen 1 to the 8 Gen 3. From S22U to S24U.
Yeah the 2200 was so poorly optimised which is a shame really as it could handle 120 FPS games pretty well when I tested it. Jump from the S22 to S24 series will be a noticeable improvement for you 👍
Disappointed by the 8gen2?Wth are you talking about? 8gen2 is overall stellar performance, heat and battery wise and is closer to 8gen3 in both cpu and gpu load, compared to Exynos 2400......
@user-xr6hb6py9l Let me clarify. I'm disappointed with it in the S23U. The battery is amazing, but Samsung did something in a few updates back that caused it to not perform as well as it should and can in some games. The same issue seems to be present in the Oneplus 11 as well. But other phones with this chip seem to be ok.
Hi there, I've just checked and on High graphics and Max Frame Rate it runs at 60FPS. Even at Low Graphics and Max Frame Rate the max it gives is 60FPS. The Snapdragon S22U however does have "Ultra" Frame Rate which allows it to run at 90FPS...
@@AndroidAddicts I have one bug, when there is something additional on the screen, like a frame counter or a sight from Samsung gaming services, the frequency drops to 60, although in the settings it says 90, it helps if I turn everything off and turn the phone over, yes, I don’t see a sign that shows FPS, but I feel that everything is going smoother
What a pointless comparison.. ...its better you play one game for a long time to see hiw they handle heat and throttling than this sheet you did which clearifies nothing about their sustained gaming performance
8gen3 is quite a bit better than E2400 in CPU but in GPU E2400 gets pretty close...in any case E2400 isa great chip and by far the best thing Exynos has ever done
Can I legitimately ask why nobody is comparing the 2 versions of the s24+ against each other?
It's not available in the UK sadly

While playing the Fortnite game on your S23 phone, HD textures are downloading in the background and this causes you to get incorrect results.

@AndroidAddicts it runs great on high graphics and 60 fps. When you set it to 90, you get a bottleneck with the CPU
I have an S22ultra (8 gen 1) is it worth upgrading to the S24ultra and is there a big difference between them?
For performance and battery alone I'd say yes - if however you've not got any problems with your S22U then of course it's not worth the upgrade. I did a battery drain test between them and there was quite a big difference between the older and newer phones..
Thank you very much 👍
Yes. Massive improvement
Weird I got 60 fps low graphical settings on exynos 2200 on fortnite. Something is wrong with fortnite. I just don't trust that game
Yep, really badly optimised 😥
@@AndroidAddicts it has been like this for 4 years. They never optimize it. Anyways yet again great work.
true.
@@casuarius6576 yes it's been ages and they can't optimize that game for any chipset

The Exynos 2400 did similar to the 8 gen 3.@@ΙωάννηςΖαγοραίος
@@Marlon_J youre right, after one ui 6.0 update my s23u feels a bit downgraded in performance. I hope the next update will fix it
Hello, which is better for photography, the Exynos 2400 or the Snapdragon 8 gen 3?
I haven't tested them side-by-side yet but intend to do so very soon 👍
Upgrade from s23 u to s24 u??? Plus 200 euro less gb from 1tb to 512gb ??? What do you think?
dont upgrade
In my country the s24 plus will come with sd 8 gen 2. Will it perform a bit the same? Because it's not gen 3
What country is that? Because there exist no s24 plus with gen 2
