10 HOUR WEAR TEST RESULTS + UPDATES - BASE - The base wore nicely throughout the day, though I did get a bit dewy by the end of the day. To be expected for my skin type. I’ve tested the cushion and the powder separately since then and I’m enjoying both. CHEEKS - The KJH Hyper Shine Kit definitely contributed to my dewiness by the end of the day. I think the Shine Serum is a pass for my skin type, but the Shine Pigment is lovely on its own. EYES - Specifically, the Surratt Soufflé Eyeshadow. During the wear test I noticed that the eyeshadow did get flakier throughout the day and though I still liked the eye look by night time, it didn’t look great up close by the end of the day. Since then I’ve tested it on bare eyes applied with fingers, as I’ve learned that’s what the brand recommends. I found the application to be much better that way, though sheerer with more effort to build up. You do need to let it dry between layers if you try to build it up. Unfortunately, applied this way, the eyeshadow broke down on my oily eyelids and the glitters gathered in my lid creases within a few hours. I’m going to keep testing the product because it swatches so nicely, but I don’t love that I’m having to put in so much effort. The jury’s out for me still and I’ll keep you posted. The Finding Ferdinand mascara wore nicely and didn’t flake throughout the day. It was easy to remove even with a primer. LIPS - The Makeup by Mario Lip Serum is not a long-lasting product so I did have to reapply it frequently. I love how it looks. If I’m being super picky, I wish it were, like, 25% less melty so it could grip the lips a bit better and have less slide. But I am enjoying it and using it nonetheless. The bareMinerals lip liner is a great pairing with it and is long-lasting when paired with a less glossy product.
Love love love this lip combo and how it ties in with the MUBM blush!! Also really enjoyed the tip on how to use the copper shade as a glowy bronzer 💖💖
Im a new subscriber and im binging your playlist. I ran across the one for your empties that eas sponsored by currentbody. Ive been wanting one of those masks for a very long time. I actually desperately need it. Today I've been looking for a discount code. I had it in my cart already. So i bought it! My birthday is coming up and thats my last gift to myself. I also saw your rabanne video and got a few eyeshadows. So i eant to thank you for being here and for the code. Im so glad i can support!😊😊😊😊
Hi bekah I just ordered two of those cushions through your link….and let me say it makes it so easy to find the products …I got two colors I’m a complete lover of all cushions and k beauty
Can you please do a review and demo of the T3 Hot Rolls for those who never used a hair tool before. Would love to see other beauty tools youve been showing on IG too like red light therapy. ❤❤
I know you like the unleashia brow fixer, but have you tried their healthy-green foundation? (I purchased mine from yesstyle.) I am mildly obsessed. Since my skin tone falls in an HLP level of paleness, a lot of k-beauty brands lightest shades are too dark or too pink, but their 21n is actually neutral and pale enough. It’s got dew, but in the summer I paired it with my Dior face & body primer (love that stuff!) and a teensy touch of the kosas powder and it was perfect. They recently released another foundation and despite having no need for more base products, I’m tempted to try it just because. 😬
Great video! I’ve been missing your videos ahaha. I’m curious about cushion foundation, any advice of a brand that does cater to a deep skin tone. Side note- I’ve been curious of the Surratt eye shadows since your insta post. They kinda remind me of the Butter London eye glazes from like forever ago. But I remember those creasing like crazy through the day. Though very pretty sparkles.
I had the opposite experience with surratt eye mouse. Easy application with brush. No pilling, could build a little although I didn’t need to. It is my fast one and done eyeshadow right now.
I’m so happy to hear that! I’ve tested it since this video applied with fingers on bare lids and the application went a lot better, but unfortunately it broke down on my oily eyelids pretty quickly. Hoping to find a way to make it work so I’m going to keep testing it.
Curious if the surratt shadows are better over just skin vs over powder shadows like most cream shadows? I usually apply cream shadows as bases and then powder shadows over if I want to so I’d be curious if that is the case. Also curious if there is better application using fingers vs brushes. Thank you!
I just posted my updates in a pinned comment! But basically I’ve tested it since filming this video on bare skin applied with fingers. The application went a lot better though it looked sheerer. But unfortunately it broke down on my oily lids pretty quickly. I really want to make this work so I’m going to keep testing it and see if I can find a way!

I think the eye look is beautiful

Four shades is good for a K-beauty foundation. I love the “jelly” (beige) version of this cushion too.
