    I am the beginner and never worked with epoxy resin. Just made my first project and would like to add clear coat of resin. What would you recommend for me to start using epoxi resin? Thank you in advance for your advice.

      If you are doing a surface coating around 2-3mm thick then the GlassCast 3 is the resin you need.

    Hello. Could anyone explain what happens with any of these types of casts if heated after curing to 60 degrees Celsius?

      60'C would exceed the HDT (Heat Distortion Temperature) of the cured resin so you would likely find the part would at the very least deform slightly if heating it to 60'C. It wouldn't 'melt' but it might deform/distort.

    What is the best to use on a extremely large canvas...and can i pour paint in this?

      Hi Katja, GlassCast 3 is the best surface coating for artwork like that. Some paints may work but generally you would be better off using a dedicated epoxy compatible pigment.

      If you wish to coat an existing worktop with a marble/granite effect the right product would be the GlassCast 3 Resin, you can see the process in our Countertop Tutorial here: ruclips.net/video/mocoZjHeJ6M/видео.html

    Is the glas cast 3 suitable for coating paint???

    • @glasscastresin
      @glasscastresin  3 года назад

      Most paints will be fine as long as they are fully cured but avoid oil based paints.
