I have greatly grown more than 45% this year already, though my FA has advised we diversify going forward. But safe to say a growing market does not always mean that the economy is smooth-sailing, but yeah, we can as well enjoy while it lasts.

Dave Ramsey's insights have been a game-changer for me! His practical approach to financial management has empowered me to take control of my money and work towards a debt-free life. The Total Money Makeover is my go-to guide, and I appreciate how he breaks down complex concepts into easy-to-follow steps.

So inspiring, I love hearing everyday people with their stories. It is true how some of us think we can't do it because the way the media portrays wealthy people. This gives me hope .
Media it's not just the media most of the so-called rich people I've ever been around or complete assholes I mean real dick heads they give back by tipping an extra 20 and then they get in the Porsche and drive home to their gated community mansion I watched a rich dude one time hanging out the window of his brand new truck hollering at a homeless guy because he walked across the street to slow and was holding traffic up I absolutely hate rich and successful people all I've ever done my whole life is barely pay the bills you should see Christmas at our house it's embarrassing we go to the nice neighborhoods and they have all their decorations and their reindeer on the front yard Christmas trees huge with all these presents and then you come to my neighborhood one person has one little string of lights cross the front yard and half of the bulbs are blown I was at a funeral last week one of my uncles friends was a special forces isn't that funny the lower-middle-class are the ones going overseas getting their brains blown out and they come home screwed up in the head and on drugs and I don't blame them if I saw my friends head blowed off next to me and the government left me out to dry when I got back I'd probably be on drugs to trying to take my mind off of this stuff but here we are on RUclips and it's all sweet and fun listening to these rich people talk about how many businesses how much money and how many new cars have you bought while the people making that possible or getting killed every day and you just don't hear about it
Just listened to a dozen of these testimonials back to back. It definitely put the fire back under me to tackle debt. No debt will remove that hovering black cloud and allow us to fast track a little better. Time to get it!
Justin Well my plan changes all the time honestly. I wanted to grow my canvas ecom business big but Facebook ads are so inconsistent so that dream was crushed. I am an electrician though so I plan on creating my own electrical company because there is a lot of potential if you are a smart businessman as well as a good electrician. I plan on getting my first rental property in the next few years here.
Justin Or instead of rental properties I might just do value adds and flip houses (since I can save money on the electrical, which is normally expensive). I’ll most likely do that.
Justin the electrical company I work for right now specializes on custom mansions, so I normally ask the home owners for one piece of advice for a 20 year old wanting to do big things. That helps me out and also seeing the mansions and all the cars keeps me really motivated and inspired.
@@ExoticTuber it sounds like you have a decent idea as to what you want to do, flipping real estate is a good way to make money too, especially if youre willing to do some work by hand. Idk what its like where you live but for me if the house is my primary residence then it's tax free. As for ecommerce, theres lots of ways to make money in that, and you can scale pretty easily to millions of dollars a year if you know what youre doing, but if you planned on doing dropshipping then good luck, its not like it was in 2018. If I were you, id look into doing some real estate wholesaling. It doesnt require money, you can make good money, it will teach you how to determine what is truly a good deal and you can get a big network of other investors and possibly a mentor. Your network is your networth. Good luck in the future
Notice how none of these people (that I’ve heard) are doctors or lawyers. Most of them have middle class jobs however they allocated their funds towards things like real estate investments.
Doctors and Lawyers (and other people with high *salaries* ) tend to suffer from lifestyle inflation, one of the greatest impediments to wealth preservation
@@maloxi1472 Ain't that the truth. I've known several doctors that make great money but are always broke. A lot of it comes from making no money to suddenly making a lot of money rather than building up more gradually. They think they're rich and start living like it.
I just turned 21, and started saving about 1.5 months ago and doing everything. Just stopped myself from purchasing a new car which would be $399 a month over 73 months. I make roughy $25000 net and also a full Time college student studying industrial engineering technology. I have 1.5 more years and I alt for school with cash and no student loans. Saving around $1k-1200 a month and it feels so good :))!
Just stumbled into this video, never heard of this guy. Lots of good things, but one thing I want to say to people is don't forget to also LIVE. And no living is not buying 50,000 dollar cars. Do everything to remain healthy and enjoy hobbies. My wife and I love to travel with our kids. We have been to 20 different cruises, we have traveled to Europe etc. I am retiring next year at 56 and can't wait to get to more places. And if you are asking, net work a little over 5 million. it can be done if you don't have bad debt which I consider CC debt, car loan debt, and student loan debt. Mortgage is ok because you are leveraging but still pay it off in less than 15 years.
In my mid 20’s I had a good job, my own car, living frugally and on my way to being able to buy a house. I married someone who turned out to be a gambling addict, 4 years, 2 kids and a mess financially later I left the marriage with multiple collections in my name, no money, 530 credit and single mom of two little kids on welfare. 4 years later living under my means I’ve gotten a job for 2 months now and already have a 1000 emergency fund, 800 credit and keep living under my means and saving.

Before I'm 35 years old, we'll be in such a strong place to grow our wealth and hit MILLIONAIRE status! Thanks Dave for showing us the way!
@@Cfergsthebest well, I think Dave is showing the safest way to become millionaire in reasonable time. I like his ideas and his strategies. You can become a millionaire with this but you will never become someone with $10M or even 50M unless you know the complex way to leverage and use debt intelligently-which 99% people lack.
Good to have a millionaires on the show as well, they show that they had it rough in the beginning. Many still think they all had enough money in the beginning and that other people did everything for them. They show that believing in their dream got them through those rough times and that they had their hands dirty.
I like the caller at 17:00. About 7 years ago I stopped being so much of a fool. I stopped buying expensive clothes, having too many expensive hobbies and just living under my means. I’m no where near a millionaire but the past 7 years of being smart set me up to own 2 businesses without taking on debt to do so. It took time but not going into debt to start my main business (automotive repair shop) made my over head super low so pretty much from the start I was making money. Had I needed to take on debts my overhead could be so high that I wouldn’t make any money for a long time which could turn into the business closing.
I like how he mentions being in the military and becoming a millionaire. A good friend of mine was in the military for 30 years and bought 7 homes, 6 he rent out for 2k a pop; he gets 10k a month from the military til he dies; and he just retired from doing data entry at a hospital making 90k a year. Btw, the military paid for his Phd. His only vice is cars, but he's incredibly cheap elsewhere. He bargains a lot at home improvement stores and turned his modest 4 bedroom home on one acre into a 3.5k sqft home on five acres. Same address, btw. People think you have to make a million a year to be rich, but it's really a modest income plus wise investments.
I'm not sure your friends being truthful what rank was he to make 10k a month from the military in retirement? My husbands military and I know the system lol

Thank you dave from the bottom of my heart for caring enough to teach the public these concepts. I will surely do better than my parents, who never were able to teach stuff like this
Working on applying these things in life the past 6 years. At 40 years old my wife and I sold pretty much everything we had, started our own company, bought used cars, built the business with hard work and cash. Today things are still growing healthily, and we still have no credit cards or consumer debt. We do owe on a recently purchased used truck, but looking forward to getting it paid off. We live simple, work hard, and spend our excess time together as well as in ministry work.
finding dave as a younger viewer feels like i won the jackpot. this is the first time in my life, 24 years old, that i have goals for a new year and am EXCITED to start working towards all my debts. 5k in consumer debts will be paid off this week, 4k will be in my savings, once i hit 10k im putting all extra income on to paying off my truck, then save save save!
Gosh I feel like 1Million is so far away but these are awesome testimonies! Really inspiring to keep pushing forward and I hope to reach financial freedom sooner than ever! Currently the wife and I are 25 & 26 years old and between our work 401k, Roth IRA, Saving accounts and emergency funds we have about $115,000 and no debt at all. Once you get rid of all debt and the saving and smart investing begins it does not take long for money to start compounding on its self and the growth explodes.
It would be interesting to hear if all this wealth would happen if you were single, or had children or end up single. The math is exact and children are expensive.

Same story for us.. kind of.. I emigrated to the US in 1996. Paid everything off by 2003 and retired in 2014 at the age 52. My Wife retired last week. We saved at least half of every paycheck and maxed out retirement accounts, IRAs and after tax savings, We have never had a car loan and did all our own maintenance.. I have taken a few and interesting jobs after retirement.. Guess what, working when you don't need the money is FUN! So even though we started in our late 30's we still made it to financial independence well ahead of normal retirement age.
I know Kenney Moore personally and he is a great guy. Very friendly to all his employees and will occasionally come to the restaurants around Mount Olive.
You gotta be satisfied with the small things. Just like God tells us in Hebrews 13:5, "Keep yourself free from the love of money and be satisfied with what you have." That was very strong... God bless you, Alan!
Can't wait to get to do this. Hubby and I are well on our way. The advice I'll give to the next me: "Breathe, child! The system works, it's proven, it's working, believe in it, believe in yourself, and snoopy dance every time you get to save another penny".
There is a misconception thar rich people don’t work but the true is that they work harder than if they were not rich. Nothing comes from just working 40hrs a week. To succeed you have to work extra hours.

The first caller was a legend. How inspiring
"It's not about me." (at 7m15sec.) Placing the interests of the employees and their needs even before my own. That's when it all turned around....WOW!
It’s a very nice thought. The business side is, they bought portions of his debt to own their own stores. Very common practice, leveraging debt.
My English teacher once noted that his elite students were always the ones helping out so that's cool.
But now did he do it ? Killed me how he didn't explain how

I laughed so hard haha!
Honda Accord is an awesome car!!
I loved that! Totally how to become a millionaire! :)

I COULD CRYYYY this first man is AMAZING!! God bless him!!!
What I noticed is that he asks everyone if they ever bought a new car. New cars absolutely rob you on your way to prosperity.
It wasn't hard to notic e and why 😂 I liked the one who was saying she bought many but actually those were 1-2 years old. That's how to do it
Im 35 and just got married. My wife and i bought our first house at the same time. No consumer debt and just tbe mortgage to knock out. Thank you Dave for all that you do. You saved me 2 years ago and helped me pay off our cars and all our credit cards.
Also paid cash for ring and entire wedding and honey moon.

My biggest irk with ETFs is the lack of optimisation. Large changes in any given stock in the ETF can drag your portfolio down. But in general, ETF or not, I think the stock market isn't showing any sign of slowdown and I want to invest about $60k but I'm not so confident about my abilities yet.
I have greatly grown more than 45% this year already, though my FA has advised we diversify going forward. But safe to say a growing market does not always mean that the economy is smooth-sailing, but yeah, we can as well enjoy while it lasts.
Yeah, sometimes the smoke hides the reality. Anyway, any chance you could recommend who your financial advisor is? I have to ride the tide, too.
Google Rebecca Lynne Buie and do your own research. She has portfolio management down to a science
Thank you for this tip. It was easy to find your coach. Did my due diligence on her before scheduling a phone call with her. She seems proficient considering her resume.
Dave Ramsey's insights have been a game-changer for me! His practical approach to financial management has empowered me to take control of my money and work towards a debt-free life. The Total Money Makeover is my go-to guide, and I appreciate how he breaks down complex concepts into easy-to-follow steps.
I've been watching the Dave Ramsey show for quite some time. I started a 401k, Roth Ira, and opened an account for investments. I'm almost 21 and my net worth is only around 5,000 but I will be working very hard and planning to retire at 45. I'm in college so my income will be lower till I graduate. And will be paying cash for school! I'll post updates as I go along. Wish me luck!
Good luck and stick to it. Wish I knew this when I was younger but it's never too late. Good for you :)
What u tryna do after college
Read this book. The richest man in Babylonia
You can do this baby!
Great plan, good luck! I’m 40 and wish I did this to retire in another 5 years.
So inspiring, I love hearing everyday people with their stories. It is true how some of us think we can't do it because the way the media portrays wealthy people. This gives me hope .
the "media" ? the media doesn't invent greedy wealthy people. They are everywhere just as hard working, financially responsible people are as well.
The media is full of divisive propaganda that doesn't line up with reality.
I have...had many trails along the way. Head up...make it happen. How r u doing?
Two years down the road - How's the fire going? Have you met your goals?
Update?
Antonio Smith you got this!!
Yea bud hows it going nowadays? Debt gone yet?

I turned 21 two days ago, I will be one of the millionaires speaking on this show by my early 30’s.
whats your plan
Yes! This is a great thing to have noticed!
Beautiful people and beautiful stories. What an inspiration. I'm 25 now and I'm gonna be a millionaire by 40. Mark my word!
This is so great. None of these folks inherited their wealth. They just worked hard, saved, and invested. This is achievable!
And debt free
“Don’t change your standard of living when you get a raise” I tell this to everyone I know and they all look at me like I’m crazy.
and you can look at them like they're fools when they ask how you ended up a millionaire 😎
IT'S NOT ABOUT YOU. I hadn't really looked at it that way and now I'm really glad I heard that highway 55 guy
Watch lisa nichols, she is a motivational speaker.
“Success is on the other side of service”
We need a curriculum in our public schools that teaches the principles of financial management that Dave Ramsey teaches.
Be a boomer/lucky?
They actually teach about finance, saving, economics and money in wealthy schools. The rest of us have MTV and Hiphop channel to learn about spending money.
Listening to the owner of the company talk about empowering his employees really brought a tear to my eye.
Literally 24 years old right now and I'm watching these videos trying not to be like my family who had money squandered it...I want to set myself up for success and prosperity.
If you buy new cars, keep them for 15 to 20 years. We buy Toyotas new or up to 4 years old, take care of them, and keep them 15 to 20 years.
I’ve been wanting to buy a 2016 4 runner, and keep that for 20 years. But they are still so expensive just 4 years old. I’ll just have to run my 12 year old tundra until it bites the dust. Too much gas though 😩
Yes I bought a new car (dumb) in my 20s for $15k. We drove it till we outgrew it and sold it at 13yrs old for $2k and a year of piano lessons for 3 kids lol.
Had my Toyota for 19 years, still going strong... and it was 7 years old when I bought it in 2002.
I like how Dave and the first caller has a flowing conversation like they were friends already.

They all have one thing in common: none started a business out of debt and they all disliked debt and paid it off ASAP
You every think maybe Dave picked them for the show for that reason?
@@Cfergsthebest well, I think Dave is showing the safest way to become millionaire in reasonable time. I like his ideas and his strategies. Good to have a millionaires on the show as well, they show that they had it rough in the beginning.
This video literally changed my life 3 years ago, It introduces me to Real Estate and to business, great a love it!!
What's your net worth growth since then?

We saved at least half of every paycheck and maxed out retirement accounts, IRAs and after tax savings, We have never had a car loan and did all our own maintenance.. I have taken a few and interesting jobs after retirement.. Guess what, working when you don't need the money is FUN!
