Love this episode. Super informative. I had no clue about such a test existing except blood test as well as the fact that an ent specialist would carry it out. You don't ever really imagine that happening in daily life. Plus I never knew about dust mites which is really important
Doing one of these would be so useful! I want to do one and find out what i’m allergic to. I’m always speculating about what I might have problems with but it would be good if I could get hard proof. These tests are probably pretty expensive though. It would be cool if they could test for water too because I’m allergic to water but haven’t been diagnosed and I think you’re supposed to get diagnosed if you have an allergy.
@@nazshams9204 I’m not like insanely allergic to it, It can’t kill me. I just get lots of hives when my skin is in water for a long time and my eyes get bloodshot and it gets a little hard to breathe. I still shower, it’s just a bit uncomfortable.

@@rachelcookie321 yes but i don’t think i’m allergic to water i suspect i’m allergic to high temp of water cos when i sweat (due to heat) my skin will have hives appearing and it will be itchy but not to a very large extent then after i shower becos i usually shower with warm water idk why i jst like the heat then hives will appear mostly on my face and neck for a while only tho then when my body cools down it disappears

I got a lot of allergies only since from circuit breaker. I got hives from food allergies. allergic to nuts, soya milk, chocolate, milk, probably due to previous medication where my face, and chest area would itch. but also got atopic dermatitis since circuit breaker, where area near my ankle became very itchy, and slowly it became blisters and fluid pop. it was always triggered after eating prawn and crab, but the recent months I avoid crab, the blister and itch were gone, not sure was it I avoid eating crab for the past months, or was because got rid of mould in the bathroom, now "touch wood" didn't get any allergies. I also experience intense dry hands where my hands were so dry, the lines on the palm were all dry and cracked painfully. I only got all sorts of allergies in my mid twenties from circuit breaker onwards, before that ive never experience such.
Hi TSL, I know you've done this before but could you try the DNA ancestry test again for the current talents of TSL? 🥺 Almost everyone will just show that they're from Asia but who knows hahaha

I’ve done a panel blood test before for food allergies. The test cost me $688 for a panel test of 6 or 8 types of shellfish, as well as peanuts, and was done at a specialist clinic. They drew roughly 3 or 4 vials of blood for the test, and the results came within 1 wk.
@@QzSG The dr is unsure of the cost, only an estimate was given, also not clear on if it's PER prick or in total. Bc if you're not sure abt what allergies one has, or like in the vid maybe abt 8 pricks? that's not really that affordable is it now hahaha (cos dr mentioned it is quite affordable in the vid)

I really want to take an allergy test now. I always get random hives/rashes and never know where it comes from. I also have an allergy to mosquito bites (skeeter syndrome) and am allergic to cold temps, specifically really cold water on my skin (Cold Urticaria).
I did a patch test at NSC but I feel the results not accurate leh... It says I'm allergic to leather... But all my bags are made of leather.... And I have no reaction to them leh... I actually love leather... And the small of leather....
