Student nurse here!! The moment I saw the no drinking and 5 mins break time I can guess this challenge is about healthcare!! In hospital, a lot of nurses actually skipped their break totally if their shift is busy, and have to stand and rush around the whole day which is super taxing for the legs!! Thank you TSL so much for doing this video!!
I once pulled an 11 hour shift at marina bay cruise terminal. My feet hurt like hell after the shift and I found out my feet were swollen and red. Thank you healthcare workers!
Holyyy i can totally understand how yall feel !! I’ve tried it once as im a crew for an event and my ankles were bruised. The bruise was so obvious you can see like green blue black purple all over my ankles 😩

Thanks. That's a life of retail person. Me! Imagine working one full shift.. Like usually 10am-10pm (10 working hours, minus off 2 one hour break time) Depending on crowd (eg PH), sometime end work like 11pm ish. Nah this is too easy for me 😅🤣 i cannot sit for too long though because too used to standing. Hahahaha

Thank you for doing this 😢 indeed it’s the tip of the iceberg. Some of us don’t get to eat on time, some of us skip meals because we’re too busy, on top of having to deal with impatient sick people, the risk of contracting whatever viruses or infections. But nevertheless thank you for taking time out to try to understand and appreciate healthcare workers and frontliners :)

Oh god finally someone understand my feeling😩 december 2019 i was started to work at one factory which is near my house but at first i dont know what kind of work they do and then finally i got frustated working at that places because i have to standing for 12 hours😭everyday have to standing while do our work. After work i will cry because of my leg was hurts so much. We cannot sit down tho but right now im not working at that place anymore🙂its so crazy for standing 12 hours

Do the participants volunteer their non working hours (wow 12 hours) to try out this challenge or do they actually get time off during their working hours? Let’s say they did this 12 hours challenge on Saturday. Do they get “off day” on Monday? I’ve always been curious!!! I mean, all these type of challenges are time consuming...

Definitely, when I was younger I helped my Brother escape a scolding and we got caught and I had to stand for half a day then my Brother stand for 3/4 of the day

I got my first job in a bubble tea shop (in UK)... and because it was my first job, I didn’t dare to eat (for dinner) and like sit... so I just stood at the cashier usually... I’ve stood up from 12pm to 9:30 pm once and I always go home with severe a back pain, neck pain and there’s one time it was so painful, I couldn’t even move.. and I get paid less just because I was under 21 😪 can’t imagine other occupations tbh.. imagining their pain makes my heart break :(

i recommend trying a N95 mask that healthcare workers wear in covid wards for a different perspective. Those are the masks that will leave marks on the face and are very tight.
