Robert, some may say you have a dream job, but I’m realizing with each show how much research and effort you put into it. These are places I have seen, yet you make me want to return. Thanks for the Phoenix restaurant suggestion- my waistline thanks you! You give us so many reasons to love this great country. Happy Fourth of July!
Wonderful video! I visited the same sights a decade ago. Unlike you, I was thoroughly intimidated by the Superstition Mtns. I got about 20 feet from the parking lot and realized I was in over my head. I'm used to parks with baseball diamonds and hot dog vendors, not a wilderness 'park' filled with everything that stings, pokes, bites or eats meat. That's as far as I got . . .
I grew up there from the 60s to 97. Used to hike on the back side of the Supers once with a back pack and haven't had the urge to do it again.haha I even climbed Camelback Mountain with ropes. Was it fun ? Yes when I was younger!
I often wonder why people moved to Arizona but watching all your adventures in Arizona I do now. America the beautiful, Happy 4th of July. Independent day. 🎆✨🎇🗽🇺🇲
That was a great trip. Awesome views of the landscape and mountains. The stunning and colorful sunsets speak volumes and as you say so picture perfect. I so liked the Mexican restaurant's interior design looked as good as the food. I could almost taste it through your video. The lighting and the colors they used seemed hypnotic, but the food must really be authentic and very good. Again Robert you have shown the way and etched another path to sites and places people can enjoy by simply following your travels on those roads you have explored. Thank you for the ride into the west! Until the next episode take care, Robert.
Sorry I'm behind us videos how I love it the town and you're being hacked Menthol I love it all I love the scenery that you're showing so have fun enjoy and stay safe and be careful out there and happy travels 🤠🤠🤠🤠🤠🤠🤠🤠🤠🤠
I finally watched! I really enjoyed this one!! The Old towns(with pretty cool Saloons, Museums, 🏫Reenactment, and Rides🚞) were interesting! Something tells me that you're determined to go to the top of that (Superstition) Mountain with better preparations, of course! The sky and rock formations are beautiful with the sunrises and sunsets.🌄I look forward to the next episode!🌵🌞
you were at my old stomping ground...my late husband and i had the old b bar b ranch at the foot of the superstitions where my girls grew up...there were only a few houses or should i say ranches at the time...but that was 40+ years ago and oh how things have changed...even though i no longer live in aj, my heart will always be there
Happy Birthday--to both Robert and the USA! I've been through that area but it was too hot to explore so it's nice to go on that hike with you. Very cool to see those Desert Bighorns! The shootout at the beginning reminds me of the summer I worked at Frontier Village--I got to toss a bad guy out of the saloon once. Until next time, happy trails!
Goldfield and the amazing Superstition Mountain ❤ Steamboat trip on Canyon Lake and having lunch at Tortilla Flat ❤ memories over memories again, thx so much dear Robert ❤
Robert, thank you for this video. Lost Dutchman became part of my family’s New Year’s 2023 RV trip on our return trip from New Mexico back home to SoCal. It was a great campground and we’ll definitely return. I never would’ve discovered this place without your video. We even visited the “ghost town” nearby. Thanks again.
Love your travels to Arizona and elsewhere, many places we never knew existed. Hubbie recovering from knee surgery and we’re binging on your videos. Then we will hit the road!
It's awesome to see a genuine traveling video, especially of my old stomping grounds (Apache Jct., Arizona and the Superstition Mountains)! Thanks for all the efforts! Safe travels!
Thank you for the really beautiful video. The campsite was amazing and the spectacular sunset was the cherry on the cake. Loved the whole video. Have fun🤣😝😜
Great video ! A few years ago I drove the Apache trail one winter morning and remember seeing the peaks of the mountains capped with snow it was really beautiful and peaceful
I can see the Superstition Mountain from my neighborhood. It is a beautiful mountain. Welcome back to the state of AZ. I watch all of your traveling videos. I hope you're enjoying the triple digits.
LOVE IT!!! Just as well you didn't do that trail! Jesse Capen, 35, a Lost Dutchman treasure seeker's skeletal remains were found at the bottom of a cliff where it collapsed in 2009.
Great to see this part of Arizona...... so sad the roads to Apache lake are washed out...... I have been there with my brother before and it is exceptionally beautiful there!😎
Hello Traveling Robert😊😊🎸🎸🎵🎵, I really enjoyed the hike towards the Superstition Mountains and what an EPIC view of the valley. Hopefully, the very scenic Apache Trail will be completed at some point. I'm looking forward to Sedona next week. I have very fond memories of my time in Sedona. Robert, have a wonderful 4th of July weekend. 👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you brother Roberts for another great episode looking forward to many more to come sometimes that's all I ever do is watch you I don't know maybe I have a addiction problem perhaps 🤣 LOL
Just when I think I've seen the best of your travelogue videos, you step it up yet another notch. Thank you. And keep them coming. Can't wait for the next episode!
Thank you again sir to tour of west🌵 and very beautiful location to relax to land of the Dinasour and Cowboy keep safe sir & stay strong and safe driving for more Tour& videos I'm waiting 😃*
This place looks awesome! I especially like the Goldfield ghost town! We were gonna go to this town on our trip to Las Vegas but unfortunately it was too far away! I am glad you came to these places and gave your thoughts on it so we may know what to expect!
I love your sense of adventure! I sometimes wish we could go back in time and see how it really was in these old west towns. Thanks for sharing your trip!
We loved our view from our site in Lost Dutchman SP and would love to go back often if only we didn't have so many places we have yet to explore, Thank You, Robert, for letting us see it again. There is so much to do around there.
And always another great adventure, you should come do the northern California coast sonoma napa lake Mendocino counties lots to see!!! Safe travels my friend!!! Happy 4th!!
Thanks for showing the road beyond tortilla flats...I was debating whether or not to try it... sucks that they closed the rest (temporarily). I love that drive and I've driven it 3x's since I discovered it thru your videos...and it's so close to Phoenix!
Arizona scenery never disappoints. We just drove halfway down FL from Jacsonville and always think of you having to drive the other half to get back to Miami. Looing forward to next week's video, Pelicamp and the new RV. Hope you don't get oo much rain in Miami this week!
We got hooked watching your adventures on Amazon Prime, now we are subscribed and wont miss an episode. Cant wait until we can travel all over in our RV.
Loved your video. I did the entire Apache trail a few years ago in a rental car…lol. I had no idea what I was getting myself into. The road was all gravel and in some places very narrow and if someone was coming the opposite way it was a little scary trying to hug the edge of a steep dropoff with a guard rail. But for you Robert, after doing Angels Landing, nothing could scare you 🤣
Too bad the road was closed. It's rather beautiful albeit terrifying between the overlook and the dam. At least it was in a small VW Golf and it was a LOT busier when we went. Never again. 😂 Also too bad you weren't feeling 100% on Siphon Draw. You missed the best part of the trail! Always next time though. 😊 Looking forward to the rest of the videos to see how many we've been to. Lol.
So you actually did this in February which is the perfect time to do this. Don't try this during the summer unless you Drink lots of water and know the dangers of excessive heat!
Hey Robert, are you going to be heading back into Idaho at some point? Moving there in Aug/ Sept, was just curious. I'm now watching the Southern Idaho vid again! Anyways, keep up the great work and ya never know.......might see you......on the road!
Awesome , Robert since they have Gila Monsters-in Arizona (pronounced Hee-Lua Maan Str ) you could name your western camp Hee-lua camp ⛺️, anyway Thanks for the videos

Hey Robert, what's your gas mileage been with the Colorado? Any repairs or problems with it? Always such great videos with such valuable attention to details
Robert, some may say you have a dream job, but I’m realizing with each show how much research and effort you put into it. These are places I have seen, yet you make me want to return. We moved here over a year ago from the humidity of Tn, it is great here. Some hot months but fall and winter awesome!!
I am born and raised here in this desert, trying to move out of this heat after 49 years.
I keep wonder why I moved here every summer lol

Wow, excellent video, beautiful views, nice west town, have to ad in my wish list, thanks Robert for your travels that help us to hit the road
The Goldfield are almost like High Chaparall Western park in Sweden but not that big. High Chaparall started just with "street" where all happend.
Robert, Bearizona, Meteor Crater and the Petrified Forest are must see in eastern AZ
If my memory is correct About 2.5 miles past Tortilla Flats Jimmy Stewart and Henry Morgan made a movie there ( The mountain Road)
Hey Robert, are you going to be heading back into Idaho at some point? Moving there in Aug/ Sept, was just curious. I'm now watching the Southern Idaho vid again! Anyways, keep up the great work and ya never know.......might see you......on the road!
We just moved here a little over a year ago. We can see Superstition Mtns from our home in AJ!!
Thank you
Awesome 👏
Que hermoso video Robert!!! Las views son splendid
Awesome , Robert since they have Gila Monsters-in Arizona (pronounced Hee-Lua Maan Str ) you could name your western camp Hee-lua camp ⛺️, anyway Thanks for the videos
Gila is pronounced like hee-luh not hee-lua
Hope you went to Canyon Lake nearby. Great place to go waterskiing and camping.
WE are Retired ar Puerto Rico our home. There was a bad fire last year or the year before I can remember. The rain washed out the road. It's was a great drive. I wish they would fix it.
