- So Getter Robo finally got an anime annoucement after over a decade, got kinda stoked about that, made me think of how much I love this song, one thing led to another, and here we are, English cover of the 1974 Getter Robo anime OP, "Getter Robo!", originally sung by Isao Sasaki, composed by Shunsuke Kikuchi with lyrics by Shun'ichi Yukimuro.
Hoping this doesn't get me copyright troubles with Toei or whoever, though for the record, this channel's not monetized.

Had a lot of fun making this one, even if my throat's a bit shot from that "Getter Beam!", so I hope y'all likesies!
Will there be a heats cover? Maybe with better sounding lyrics than the translated lyrics? Man, that would be awesome. Great Cover also!
The "Getter Beam" sounded like it was ripped straight from the show or a SRW game - very impressive!

I like how the background yelling for things like GAN GAN GAN GAN or GETTER BEAM seems to be trying to match to Akira Kamiya's Ryoma voice also a great translation on the lyrics really gets one pumped up
I will miss the Kamiya Shrill after his stint in Super Robot Taisen Z, but well life mus go on until end 😃

As a longtime getter fan this brings joy to my heart, particularly the screaming. Here's hoping Getter Robo Arc has plenty of that classic fiery spirit, because this cover certainly does. Good jorb!

It is for the intro. Between that and GUTS sounding like GATS or GET, there's a lot of easy mistakes for this one.
@@jettswole i seen the text and Hisao says CAN. (at least, that's the case for the movie Great Mazinger vs Getter Robot)
I think the song was based off a bit in the og manga about Musashi singing it, but I haven't seen the untranslated page
