On August 8, 1975, Williams was nearly killed in a mountain-climbing accident in southwestern Montana. While climbing Ajax Peak on the continental divide (Idaho border) west of Jackson, the snow beneath him collapsed and he fell almost 500 feet (150 m) onto rock; he suffered multiple skull and facial fractures.
He spent two years in recovery, having several reconstructive surgeries in addition to having to learn to talk and sing again. To hide the scars and the disfigurement from the accident, Williams grew a beard and began wearing sunglasses and a cowboy hat. The beard, hat, and sunglasses have since become his signature look, and he is rarely seen without them.

• The car at the end is a symbolism of his dad, and biggest legend of them all, Hank Williams Sr. Who passed away at the age of 29 in the back of his Cadillac on his way to a show, within the first few hours of New Years on January 1, 1953.. Hank Jr was 3 years old when he passed, and references him A LOT.

The guy on the lawn mower is George Jones, I think.
During his alcoholic years, he once drove a lawn mower down the highway into town and back to buy alchohol. Tammy Wynette hid all of the vehicles, including the tractor. But George said he looked out the window and saw the lawn mower.
He also rode a horse into town for alchohol.

This was a real party. According to the one's there it lasted 3 days. You've done George and Dolly's version of The Blues Man. You need to do Hank Jr's version. Hank wrote the song after his mountainfall in 1975 about his life and then girlfriend (later wife) Becky. It is so heartfelt.

This is such a stark juxtaposition from what his father (Hank Williams Sr. of course) was. Sr. Drank so much he was banned from the Grand Ol' Opry (so the story goes), but he was so secretive about it. Jr. shouts PARTY from the rooftops and gets richer than his dad could imagine.😂
This song came out my Jr/Sr year. We played the life out of it, back in the woods, we’re only the guy with trucks could get us to, much underage partaking of adult beverages (Bone’s Farm Strawberry wine, sigh), until the cops found us, told us to break it & go home. Good Times.

I love Hank jr one of my favorite artist, from country, to blues to southern rock he is amazing. My favorite slow song is the Blues Man. If you want a upbeat rocking song do Man to Man (referencing his father Hank Sr which is a country music legend himself).

I've been lucky enough to see Hank Jr. 4 times and I was supposed to see him at my State Fair in 2020... Obvioulsy canceled because of Covid... but he came back to our State Fair last year... I had tickets for not just me and my Hubby but 8 other ppl... came down to our farm for the weekend motor homes, guest rooms all loaded up... There was some kinda problem at the fair that night... this is the Fair I've gone to every year of my life... my grandparents lived on Fairground Rd.. for heavens sake.. first time ever... traffic was so horrible... never made it to the concert.. 1.5 miles away from the fair traffic stopped... we waited 2 hrs and hadn't moved.. we just came back to the farm and played him and had a BBQ
