Just imagine, Cheech and Chong and Willie at the same party. People were getting contact highs 25 miles away
I want to be invited to that cook out😂😂😂
Oh and somebody call snoop😊
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Preach
I love the drive by of Hank Sr.
So many Easter eggs in this video. But hands down the funniest one is George Jones arriving on a lawnmower. 😂
He might be a country star but Hank lived like a rock star. 🤘🏻🤘🏻
The man gave lessons on how to put on a concert.
Lives
When he lived in Cullman I saw him several times walking around the local flea market. Seemed pretty normal to me. I often wonder about the difference between reality and public perception. Sure he broke the old body a few times, but between Football, Motorcycle and Car Racing I've done more than my fair share of reconstruction myself.
This has "Ernest', George Jones on a lawn mower, Huey Lewis on guitar, Cheech & Chong, Mel Tillis, Kris Kristofferson, Willie Nelson. Waylon Jennings, The Statler Brothers, Porter Wagoner (the guy that had the TV show that Doly Parton left after 5 years to go solo, so she wrote 'I will always love you) to him. All these guys are old country. Also Greg, now you have to do the follow up song to this one "All my rowdy friends have settled down. He talks about these stars.
All My Rowdy Friends Have Settled Down actually was released 3 years before this in 1981 off The Pressure is On Album. This song came out in 1984 off the Major Moves album, so this is the "follow up"
I don't think it's Huey Lewis on the guitar. I'm pretty sure that's George Thorogood.
George Thorogood and Dicky Betts on guitar.
There was Mel Tillis too. He stuttered but could sing his ass off.
@@chiefsteps-in-poo8447 Mel was a great comedian as well. Look up some of comedy stuff.
When Hank Jr was a kid they would have parties at his house. People like Elvis, Johnny Cash, Fats Domino, and many many more artisits showed up for them. This is accurate for Hank's life style back in the day. Now he throws bbq and would rather spend the day hunting and fishing.
WHen he was kid on tour his mother would leave Willie nelson, Johnny Cash and Willie nelson to watch him
This song created the Monday Night Football theme for many years. Then, because Hank would not silence his views of where America was going during the start of shutting down American manufacturing and shipping overseas; the NFL cancelled him. To this situation…
Please react to: Red, White and Pink Slip Blues (you sill enjoy the hell out of it)
Hanks right to a point but for some reason wealthy people who portray a image of country are still vastly out of touch because he really wasnt speaking out about that in the 80s
Somebody should do a Cliff's Notes version of this video with pauses with funny pop-ups identifying all the musicians and celebrities a lot of people don't recognize any more and explaining the references - such as why George Jones is riding a lawn mower😂 😂
Like a modern pop up video
George Jones on the lawnmower, dude gave no fcks lol
The "don't Step on my cowboy boots"line is a parody on Elvis' "Don't Step on My Blue Suede Shoes".
The “ghostly” looking car that drives up into the clouds is to represent Hank Sr. Check out Hank Jr - “American Way”
He sang a version of this they used for years as the intro for Monday night football that they changed every week for whatever teams were playing
Cheech Marin (Born in East LA, Shrimp on the Barbie) is who he is. There were so many great country singers in this video. You don't know them so you missed out.
The car flying across the sky, was supposed to represent his father. A Country music legend that died in the backseat of a car, on his way to do a show.
So many country greats did cameos in this video!
Johnny Cash was Hank jr.'s neighbor. They used to shoot cannon balls over on to each other's fields for fun😂
This is so 80's.. but dang.. It's Hank Jr.. gotta love it.
Hank jr doesn't have a bad song. He has songs that are good and songs that are great.
I got ketchup on my blue jeans I just burned my hand… lord it’s hard to be a bachelor man!! LOVE THIS! I have always always been a huge fan!! Let’s go Hank!!!!❤tennessee
Hank jr was the rowdiest in his bunch, you can bet.
Hank throws a party after his shows, one of the best nights!!!!!
This is full of country music singers and some actors
That was Cheech and Chong in the limo lol
Another Hank video chalked full of celebrities is COME ON OVER TO THE COUNTRY. Some of my favorite Hank Jr songs are DIXIE ON MY MIND, HOW GEORGE FEELS, TWO DOT MONTANA (since I’m from Montana). GONNA GO HUNTIN. BORN TO BOOGIE. MONTANA CAFE.
So many Legends in & out of Country Music. Love seeing George Jones riding his lawnmower to the party. It'd be funny if he had a bottle half hidden on it.🤪🤣🤣🤣
Been waiting for this one to come around, lol. As far as country parties go. I'm a city boy that moved to rural Idaho. Been here long enough I show up with pallets and beer in the back of my truck for the bonfires. Their smokers have been going all day for the BBQ. Hands down the best parties ever.
this song was renmade by hank changing a few lines it became the theme for monday night football in the 80s and 90s
That man changed the face to country music forever.
All these people were the best country has ever, and possibly will ever see.
Love this song! So many memories✌❤🎶
We used to do this at my Aunts every year when I was growing up. Pig roast, tons of food, alcohol, music, dancing and partying. All family members were invited, even the kids. SO MUCH FUN!!
Many, many celebrities were happy to do cameos in this video.
There are so many legends in this video it's hard to count!
"Merry Maids" gives a whole different perspective!!! And then the Guest List!! you got it!!
Hank, Jr. Son of one of the giants of early Country Music, Hank Williams himself. He can sing his daddy's stuff 'til you can't tell the difference between him and his father's recordings. Then he set out to make his own place in the music business, and he did it in style. Now his kids are doing exactly the same thing, not being a carbon copy of what came before, but making their own name. Fabulous talent passed down through the generations!
How do you feel on Hank III? i kinda wish he put out more like Hank jr 🙁
That bit at the end? With the ghostly dude driving off into the sky in a ghostly Cadillac convertible full of ghostly girls? That was a hat-tip to his old man. Hank Sr. was a legend of country music himself who loved Cadillacs (died in one, in fact), pretty girls, & partying.
All the guys who came are famous country and rock singers. Like a laundry list of music people, from George Jones to George Thoroughgood. ZZ Top, Jimmy Dickins, Cheech and Chong, Kris Kristoferson, Waylon, Willie.
Glad you found Hank, I grew up on this and gotta love it.
Almost everyone in the video is SOMEONE!!
🤣🤣
so many people that are famous, only Hank could darw him to his party
Love all three Hanks❤️
Someone showed up in an air balloon!! That's when you got rowdy friends!😊
Got love Hank
Grandpa Jones was From The grand ole opry and Hee Haw worth watching for Roy Clark alone RIP
Time to party!!! Shindig for sure!
If you want an awesome Hank jr ballad then check out Blues Man, if you want a rockin' Hank jr song check out Man To Man. Hank JR is one of my all time favorites.
When you said ballad I was guessing THE BALLAD OF HANK WILLIAMS. 😂😂
Mine too!!
I recommend "We are Young Country" by Hank. Another Video of Who's Who in the 80s
Yes, that's exactly how Hank Jr would do it, lol.
Nice reaction............. But you missed 95% of the STARS that was in this video.
The neighbors would b there, my uncle owned a rock quary, these parties would last a week easy, great times
3:46 my dad and uncles used to tell the neighbors “stfu and come drink a beer”😂
I❤ your reactions you cool very cool respect
You might recognize Cheech (the actor with the mustache) from Dusk till Dawn
Cathy Brookburt is right, there are alot of famous people in this video . The "ghost" car in this video is supposed to be Hank, Jr's Dad - Hank Williams, Sr. He was a very famous country singer who died at age 29, riding in the back of a car on his way to his next concert. He died of heart failure, but it was due to alcohol (and possibly drug) overdose. Hank, Sr was a bad alcoholic. He was a famous for singing but it was hillbilly country- very bad twang. But a great songwriter, like a poet. His song "I'm so lonesome I could cry" is hauntingly sad.
Cheech and Chong, Gotta try and do a couple of their movies Up in Smoke and Corsicanan Brothers are my favorites.
Everybody in this video was a movie star or a country music star.
Dude is A -Dogg your brother? You guys have the same flow! Love it
this video is full of legends
So many stars
I love your reactions bro
Now days the cooking and cleaning is more controversial than the in between 😂😂😂
His father, Hank Sr, was the one driving the mysterious Cadillac at the end.
The making of this video was a 3 day party
Bocephus is LEGEND!
In regards to the parties they’re lit and completely free for alls
That’s how we do it like the Bruce Lauer cabin party every summer it lasted for a weekend people for miles would come there was a 18 wheeler the cab full of beer , bands playing,, and you rolled all day and night ,, we partied our ass off in the country
The algorithms are coming out tonight
Lots of singers & other well-knowns
Rowdy might not turn out good but it sure is fun.
I grew up on this song
Omg.. Granrdpa Jones from HeeHaw.. lmao.. your young.. but my pop-pop raised me on some Hee Haw... lol
That was a real party that lasted a week
That was Cheech Marin.
MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL!!!!
I never noticed the car before, that's supposed to be his dad,Hank Williams Sr. who was a king of country music , he also was a wild party guy who overdosed in a car and died when Hank Jr was young.
That is Cheech Moran!!
As a country boy myself I can safely say
WE KNOW HOW TO THROW A PARTY you probably won't remember
I love this one. If it comes on in a honky took, the whole bar is roaring. I had a friend who had a lake house out in the middle of nowhere. His parties were epic. It took 30 minutes to drive out there. Bring everything you need, you aren’t leaving again. Cars lined up down the country road. No cops and neighbors in sight. It was in a pasture in the county and we had so much fun. My dad pulled me out of a party in town once. We learned.
this song still reminds me of sunday night football. brett farve days.
Best party’s were always in the woods in my location when I was young. We knew what trails to go down and I was actually a lookout twice. Lookouts stay on the outside of the trails and if we see any park rangers/law we fired a flare and got the crap out of there. We used flares and not phones because there was at least 5 entrances and 5 lookouts.
name is Cheech Marin from Cheech & Chong fame. Also a Cop TV series outa San Francisco.
The GUESTS are the thing. There are some of the Biggest Partiers there.
i big ole party out in the country with a cookout good times for sure
Hey yall. Didn’t Hank Jr have a song and video about another one of his parties and he picked up Snoop Dog? and some others and brought them along to the party? It’s a great video.
This song was changed up a bit when he adapted it to the NFL Monday Night Football promo. He parted ways with the NFL when Obama was president. He had strong opinions about what he felt Obama was doing to this country. Apparently, you aren't allowed to voice a personal opinion about Obama if your song is affiliated with the National Felon League. Hank didn't give a damn. He said what he said, and told them "screw the money". Hank Jr is a legend ,just like his daddy before him. 👌
n ow you need to listen to all my rowdy friends have settled on down
"Who is this man" ??? Cheech Marin, half of "Cheech and Chong". He plays semi-serious these days on TV, one of the cop shows. Dig in here on RUclips for Cheech and Chong comedy sketches and/or movies, like "Up in Smoke". One of the funniest guys that ever lived !!
Country Folks know how to host/hold a party/the original after party..
Everyone in that video was famous. Most were known partier.
Oh Greg they are only friends 🎉😂
great
Little Enos sent the girls over to clean up before the party!
Welcome to the 80's era of high cut leotards. Aerobics outfits were a new and wonderful thing. There's a tons of cameos in this video. Really too many to name.
That's Cheech Marlin and Tommy Tong in the smoke filled Limo , Should watch the intro their movie Up in Smoke , using the song Low Rider. Sometime time watch the whole movie
Hank’s late wife was a Hawaiian Tropic Model when he met her.
Love me some Bocephus!
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Wish you could do Louisiana's own Acid Bath "grave flower".
🤘🏽⚜️🤘🏽
They forgot Grandpa Jones cleaning the windows and Kenny Rogers RIP. Both
The guy coming out of the car with the smoke is Cheech Cheech and Chong the two Mexican actors smoke a lot of weed
5:25 Cheech of Cheech and Chong.
