Aaron was in the band Stained , he's a real musician. He's seen all the garbage from the record companies. Great reaction, awesome song. One of my favorites.
Aaron Lewis was the singer for the rock group Staind. I really like them a lot. Being able to sing both hard rock and country, and being good at both, is a testament to his talent. Is that George Jones and Charlie Daniels? Anyone?

Thank you for helping me down the worm hole of country music. My first job out of college (a long time ago lol), was at a small bank in the mountains. The president of the bank played a country music station all day every day and I swore if I heard the song “all my exes live in Texas” one more time I was going to scream lol. Just recently I started watching reactions with country music including yours and I realized that I actually like some of it. What a shock but I’m looking forward to hearing more! Thanks 😊
I'm a country music fan, and I can't blame you for having a distain for that song. 😂 It's okay song to hear once, but I've heard it enough in my lifetime, and I haven't really heard it a ton.
This song has a special place and meaning for me, my brother and I both served in the military, my brother was a marine, my mom called me and said my brother had committed suicide, just the as I hung up the phone, this video came on tv in that instant as I laid the phone down. I cry every time I hear this song.

I am glad I ran across your channel. ARRON Lewis is still the lead singer for Staind , he is truly real and down to earth. I have been to many Staind and AFL country shows and hung out alot with him and the band. There ain’t nothing fake about him. Listen to the Staind Dysfunction album… I love him as either rock or country.
Country music is the 3 R’s Real…Raw…Relatable Country music has bars too and a lot of people are realizing it now with these reaction channels and I’m here for it!!!!!

Btw Aaron was in a very popular rock group Staind!! Great voice!! Thanks for sharing a great Patriotic song I also live by!! God bless
That's exactly what the labels want to do. Have you sign a contract and then force you to change to their way of thinking. Stay true to your roots that's how you for where you are. RIP George Jones and Charlie Daniels. Thank you both for entertaining the World with you gift for music.
Aaron Lewis is the most underrated singer/songwriter. As the lead singer of Staind he has numerous hit songs. But if you want to hear a song that really shows off his vocals, PLEASE listen to "Something to remind you" live at Mohegan Sun. Thanks!
Am I the only one is his latest hit.... he was the front man for an alternative rock band called STAiND ... once he matured thru fame and fortune he went back to his roots.... he is one of my favorite artists for exactly what u said ... he keeps it real.... people these days can't handle that.... I have more respect for someone who keeps it relevant if I dont like what he says... respect over feelings EVERY DAY!
Good music is good music no matter what genre ! Love the fact that you seriously listen to all music and give great honest visceral reactions that come from your soul 🤙🤙
I grew up with George and Charlie. Saw them both many times. Charlie played Franklinton LA and next day played outdoor concert in Biloxi MS. Gotta love Charlie in LA said tell a joke and in Biloxi MS said take another toke 😂😂🖤🖤🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️
Real Country Music, not the pop music most try to pass off as Country, is beautifully fascinating. A lot of Rap Music and County Music have much in common. I'm a 65 year young White Man. I've been training 25 year olds on the job. Blows me away that they love Country Music. Black, White and Mexicans. They like the old school Rock too.
Great Reaction! Absolutely love Aaron's music, along with the messages. Made the transition into Country without issues; thinking that's where his heart is. George Jones and Charlie Daniels (may they Rest In Peace!) definitely put their names on his music which is an endorsement to say the least. The other that showed here in this vid was Chris Young (harmony vocals). Charlie Daniels is very well known for his patriotism/anthems. I'm a fan of them all. Be Safe
That's Charlie Danies and George Jones in on that. Some black reactors don't like his song Am I the Only One. I think it's just the reality of just being an American. All of us citizens are Americans. We might have different ways but we are Americans.
That old timer in the video is none other then George Jones. RIP. Honestly tho if youre looking for something a bit more up your alley David Morris is a MUST! Red, White and American Blues is by far my favorite. Speaks the Gods truth in it
Aaron grew up in a small town outside Springfield, Ma. I grew up a stone's throw away in Ct. Country boys don't just come from the south or west. I grew up in the woods surrounded by tobacco fields (I picked tobacco in some of the same fields as MLK, Jr. did 30 years earlier). My first job was picking corn in front of a tractor that was NOT stopping for you to complain about the heat or corn-rash. Our playgrounds were the creek behind my house, catching fish out of a local pond and endless woods. Tobacco drying barns flanked all of our neighborhood and were also fun to play in (although you didn't want to get caught) and we rolled our own cigars when we were barely double-digit old. Folks don't know that some of the best rodeos are in the Southern New England area, too...along with some excellent NASCAR junior series. The only real difference between us and southern/western country boys was flannel.....and we loved viscious games of pond hockey in the winter.
This was good. Check into Robert Johnson. Legend is he went down to the Crossroads and sold his soul, and became one of the best old time blues talents. Still had a rough life and died young but put out some great blues music. The line in this song today that says war and whiskey can change a man ... listen to Sam Stone by John Prine. One of the best songs written about the tragedy of the Vietnam "conflict". After that, check out more of John Prine. He was a lyrical genius ... for instance, "I can hear the train tracks through the laundry on the line" (Knocking on Your Back Door) or "sweet songs never last too long on broken radios" (from Sam Stone). John was an icon to us Boomers. His music is what I call "music that makes sense". Love your reactions, Greg. I subscribed at first watch. You're always honest, enthusiastic and joyful when you discover something that moves you. Keep up the good work. We're listening!
The cameos by George Jones and Charlie Daniels are eerily beautiful. RIP, George and Charlie. Great reaction
Every time I watch this video it just squeezes my heart.. the Possum and Charlie have been entertainers I have watched literally my entire life.
Chris Young was in this to js
U explained that perfectly.
Only thing more important than our country is our God thank you america
He died?
I love the fact that young folks like yourself love this song and the ideas behind it. Gives me hope for the future!

Yes yes and yes! :-)
correct
He still is still active. He is a very versatile musician
Thanks Trish! I knew I heard his voice before but I couldn't place it.
Yes
Charlie Daniels is a famous fiddler, The Devil Went Down To Georgia. George Jones was a famous country singer, He Stopped Loving Her Today.
My son played this for me yrs ago. Lov his voice and what he stands for. Im also a country boy. Plain ole country. Really hits home. .. dan..7/27/22.
Sad part is 90% Plus of Americans can't survive on their own!
Loved the reaction....Arron Lewis has many tunes that you would like!
The 10% who think they could, really couldn't. It's impossible to survive long-term on your own.
I guess you would half to become animalistic... only the strong survive.

Aaron Lewis is a Real One, I am gonna see him in concert in August.
Aaron is a beast. He is my go to when I get done with my country boy shit. I live in the sticks and a country boy is all I'll ever be too!
Great reaction. He has one called Am I the Only One..please listen to it. It's power.
Even a better song than this one
I saw him in concert. He started with the Pledge of Allegiance, smoked cigarettes on stage and sang this song, along with his others greats.
If anyone is wondering what he was playing on the fiddle at the end of the song, that was “Battle Hymn of the Republic”.
Great reaction man. You hung on the lyrics, and certainly understood everything he was talking about.
This reaction made me smile so much. You get it. Thank you for listening to this.
Love that Aaron stays true to his roots. Great message. Great song!
