Big Truck Big RV i know u do mostly hd trucks but have or do u plan to review half tons? i would really like to get your impressions of the ecodiesel. maybe a 10k lb trailer on ed vs 10k lb trailer 2500. yes i know 2500 can tow 20k lbs but most people dont pull that much. i have a 10k lb truck and trailer i pull to sled pulls. an ed could be my daily and tow rig. a 2500 sucks so bad on mpg it couldnt be my daily. thanks

This video is informative and helped me make a decision on which brand to purchase. I have a 2017 Ram eco diesel and will be getting a Ranch Hand setup.
Man they really do an awesome job of installing bumpers. I can't tell you how many crooked bumpers I've seen driving around. I'm definitely driving the 3 hrs just to have them install the bumpers on my next truck.
Thanks for doing this video. I got a 2021 Ram 1500 Quad Cab Big Horn and am thinking about getting one of these bumpers put on it since I seem to be a deer magnet. I’m planning on getting the Midnight Front Bumper W/ Grille Guard specifically because of the fact that I have the front parking sensors on my truck and because I figured I’d give my truck the much added protection it deserves.

This looks amazing! This takes a run of the mill white Big Horn Ram and completely transforms it into a different looking truck. It's crazy how popular these are down south but you almost never see them here in Pittsburgh and when you do it's almost always on a truck owned by and oil and gas company. My only is worry when I do see them they're almost always rusty even on a new truck I think after one winters salt they start to rust. There are also very few Ranch Hand authorized dealers here.
Big Truck Big RV, I lived in TX for a few years, and My boss (cousins husband) Had a 2011 F350 right when they came out, and He had a colormatched Ranch Hand bumper installed by the Ford dealership, they are one badass Bumper, and i say that because about 6 months later he had a trailer axle with tire come flying off the trailer in front of him (home made truck axle trailer) and hit that Ranch Hand, and it barely even scuffed the Paint.
i really enjoy the quality of videos you put out here, I think their products look great but they don't have anything for my 2016 colorado. hopefully its in the near future

I love the detail, and level of information. plus, that stuff looked wicked, and durable, on that ram. 1 question though, in another video, you talked about the different series of Ranch hand bumpers, and how they are built, this one looked like either end was based on a square tube; am I right. And in regards to you posting a video about your viewers rides, once a month or so, I think it's a great idea. Keep up the great work, and I know what kind of bumper I'm putting on my next truck.
Blaise Boudreau: thanks! this bumper is 12awg diamond plate to reduce weight. the Legend is Schedule 40 pipe and the Sport is 1/4" steel C channel. all are super tough and overbuilt
With these amounts of protection and quality , I worry about the people who hit the car not worry about my car 😂😂😂

HELP PLEASE! I have a 2017 Ram with front and rear sensors and I cannot find this bumper on the Ranch Hand website. I can't imagine that there is much difference between 16 and 17 as far as the bumper. Do you know the PN#? Who are these guys doing the install. The local place here seems kinda sketchy as they told me that they would need to cut the sensors off. Heck, the sensors have a plug!
what are the two square tubes for? vertical off both sides of the frame? behind the frame ends. snow plow?
How is it replacing the head lights since you have to remove not only the grill but the light fixtures themselves?
Are the parking sensor holes on the bumper custom drilled? I cant find any with the holes already drilled anywhere. Have a 2017 Ram Lone Star 1500 4x4

So the holes for sensors on the front replacement had to be drilled, or did they start doing that from the factory? Last I knew they weren't offering that.
Love these bumper best quality, when they rust just blast and paint em again
Before and after measurements would be great on the front and rear fenders to see how much the truck dropped with the added weight.

How did you get the OEM fog lights mounted? Does the bumper come with a bracket? I Bought a used truck with a ranch hand front bumper on it but there is no mounting location for the OEM fog lights.
How did you get this Ranch Hand to come with pre drilled holes for the parking sensor. On their website it says it is not sensor compatible?
I kind of want something like this on my 95 blazer (S10 chassis) but while there are things for the 1998+ model years, there isnt anything specified for the 95, and while for the most part the 90s s10s and blazers were built quite similarly, i dont have a way to check if the mounting is exactly the same, i have a feeling it is, but i dont want to spend all that money only to find out that it wont work

Well this is what I have been waiting for. I'm glad I went with the summit for my 3/4 ton. It's clean and looks natural. May have to order a light bar now too cause that looks great.
I have a concern on the wiring harness for the parking sensors. I am not sure my installer has had to do that before so I'll have to call Monday and say HEY MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE CORRECT MATERIALS. Last thing I want is for it not to work.

PS. Do you know if Ranch hand makes a rear bumper that accommodates aftermarket hitches? I have a Curt class V+ and it's defiantly more beefy than my original hitch.

why doesnt ranch hand front bumper fit the express model? I have a 2017 ram 1500 express and would love to put a ranch hand on it, but I think I might have to settle for a hammerhead bumper.
for the new equipment being installed has anyone thought of getting them sprayed with a line ex type coating? I think they would be rust free for a much greater time for people in northern climates.

It looks like the bumper is essentially tougher than the frame that's supporting it.
What model front bumper is this?? I cant seem to find one with the cutouts for front sensors!
What about the big gaps left at each corner in the front under the headlights. The factory bumper is molded to fit that and this one leaves a huge gap for wind and anything else to get in and wrecj havoc on all the internals.

So Ranch Hand doesnt do front bumpers for '12 Ram 1500s? None are showing on the site but I'd love to put a summit series on mine
U know I didn’t think I was going to like it. But I kinda do. The front around the lights seam kinda bulky but it’s probably me just never seeing a half ton like that. Kinda disturbing how thin the metal is on the rear and front. That back end mounts up to the trailer hitch and I know ours twists with the travel trailer hooked up so my bumper moves too. Wonder how the truck and bumper will hold up in a collision
hope that someday I can't afford to buy that bumper for front and rear as of right now the funds are not there, but I will buy one someday. thank you for the video. Thank you.

I wish they made the front / rear bumpers for the midsize trucks, primarily the Colorado / Canyon. I just love the look of these full steel bumpers but Ranch hand doesnt make one unfortunately (at least they dont have one on their website) :(

F-150 KING OF TRUCKS: they come in very handy on ranch roads. Lots of deer strikes around here.

Cruhcifix I can can tell you those are the factory 20" wheels. However, I'm unsure if those tires are larger than stock. They appear to be.
I'd guess they're 33's. Suspension doesn't appear to be altered, although I could be wrong.

Did u cut your harness? If so, you messed up the impedance of the wire. You'll have to do the math and repair the harness to match the OEM wire impedance

Wish they made one for my 2018 tundra. They said they will not be making one for the tundras because of the active cruise control even tho they list “2018”. So I guess no ranch hand protection from deer for me.
The exhaust is when you get the v8 it's straight. If you have the v6 it's curved behind the rear tire

If that was my truck, the added bumpers would be LineX coated in white! Then they would not be so huge looking! Or even just an off white powder coating.
Wow! Lots of little bits and pieces under there which are not on the older trucks! No wonder they cost so much to repair after minor crashes. That frame rail comparison was a pretty good demonstration of why heavy duty trucks weigh so much more and carry so much more than half tonners! They may look a lot alike, but are not even close under the skin. How many of the viewers caught all the details on that 1500 to make it play nice when it crashes into a car or minivan or baby SUV and match up with their crash structures so as to reduce injuries? Does the design of your bumpers meet compatibility standards for automotive crash standards? I did not see the under ride protection structure on your bumpers. Is it there?

Nothing negative, but i really never liked the ranch hand bumpers they seemed a bit to plane or boring. Really just more cosmetic issue for me then anynthing else. Great video thanks big trucks. And by they way bug truck can you do some more videos on some ram mega cab cummins please.

Nice big heavy duty bumper! Holy crap 💩If that's a lighter duty for a 1/2 ton what is the weight difference between a bumper for a heavy duty truck? Besides ranch duty why would you want something that heavy on the front? The bumper itself I get but, why all the heavy brush guard structure?

at 6:00 you can see the crumple Zone in the frame I wonder how that's going to like all the weight of the bumper hanging off of it
+fuzzy wuzzy: front impacts subject thousands of PSI towards those crumple zones. The bumper should not cause them to fail, if that's ur concern
The frame on my 1991 Ford Ranger is thicker than the frame on that 2016 Ram 1500... I will stick to buying and refurbishing classic trucks for my uses lol

Those bumpers look nice, much better then many on the market.
The light duty truck is fine as a car, its not must more then that.
The RAM trucks rate very poorly in the crash tests, the front wheel crushes into the seat (O.o) Sheet metal delaminates too!
