Way more zone 3 plants than I expected. Yay for us cold climate gardeners!!
Zone 3 Manitoba sure seconds that!! 🇨🇦❄️🎄
@@peggy-ann1961lol, I’m from Manitoba too!
Move
Same from Alberta, Canada; thank you, thank you.😀
Thanks for showcasing these plants, Laura. More fun than thumbing through a magazine and gets me so excited for next season!
😢
I LOVE THESE TYPES OF VIDEOS! THANK YOU LAURA & SPECIAL THANKS TO PROVEN WINNERS! I LOVE THE ENTIRE TEAM! My favorites are Luminary® 'Prismatic Pink' Tall Garden Phlox, Shadowland® 'Love Story'Hosta hybrid, 'Stand by Me Pink' Bush Clematis Clematis hybrid, & Summerific® 'All Eyes on Me' Rose Mallow Hibiscus hybrid !!!! Oh, dear Proven Winners, when will they hit the North Carolina Garden Centers?
Love story hosta reminds me of the paint by number kits I used to get as a child! ❤
Yes, to staggering Baptisia blooms. I love them. The one I have blooms after my lilacs, so I'm stoked to adding another later blooming one. Zone 4 (not 5 grrrr) in MN. My goal is to have something purple blooming all season from Crocus to Asters.
Good morning, Laura! I'm looking forward to seeing these new plants out in your gardens this Spring! Hugs from N.C..❤
Good morning, Laura ☕️ I’m excited for the pineapple lillies! 😍 Have a Blessed Day😊🐈🐈
Me too, those were outstanding !!! There was so much detail in those. It will be interesting to see where she puts them !
Those daylilis are beautiful. Especially Blazing Glory. Love that one so much.
I hope to get a few different daylilies for an area at my office.
I loved this one too as it’s my house colors & would be great next to Stella D’Oro
You seem to be gravitating to more of the reds, which is exciting for me. We appreciate your knowledge and excitement. Thank you, Laura! 🌺
That baptista looks like it would be really pretty by the pond.
I wish day lilies had more attractive foliage. They can be a scraggly mess, then all of a sudden: " Look here's some blooms. The phlox are stunning, as are the clematis. I can't wait to see your pineapple lilies too. Have your deer friends returned? I was wondering if the animals that were displaced by fires last year, are coming into places where they can feed.
Garden Answers : Morning Sweet Laura, have a blessed day.Thinking about Spring planting!!!! Thanks our so beautiful at your home. The work you all do has/Is making one of the most beautiful homes , I know how proud you all are of yours !!! As you all should be.Sending my love and God's blessings to each and every one of you.Wanda In N E Ok . Merry Christmas!!!!!!!! To All.
That heucherella is calling my name, as well as the Love Story hosta!
Thanks, Laura❤
I love hostas too. That Love Story hosta looks like an artist painted it, so pretty!
Fun to see plants that go through so many zones. Thanks Laura!
I am proudly a card-carrying member of the Hostatuite Society. Thank you for showcasing this gorgeous variety!!!
⛄I imagine that you have quite a collection. Do you have pictures anywhere to see? I am starting an area with Hostas and I am always looking for ways to display them ⛄
I thought the American Hosta Society had members. Are you for real?
I love the silver lining!!!!! Zone 4!!!!
I've been looking for a tidy upright grass on the small side for a special spot in my garden. Prairie Winds looks like a winner! I love the idea of the skirt at the bottom. I will let you know how it does!
I am always excited to see the new plants coming out, but me (and I'm sure majority of us) can never get our hands on them, which is really frustrating.
First of all, the back drop of beautiful plants in this video is stunning! Vibrant colors in the middle of winter. This was your dream when you built the Hartley, wasn’t it? 🌺🎄
I’m anxious to try some of these new varieties in my garden. Thanks for the highlight.
Color color color 😍 would you consider testing the hosta in your garden as well as your parents' garden which has more permanent shade area? Just to see how it performs in different light and wind exposure? Thank you 💕
Always exciting to hear you talk about plants. Informative, helpful, lovely descriptives + photos. Thx, Garden Answer!
Laura, I’m in northern Idaho and my primrose over winter very well. I’ve had them in the south facing bed for three years now and every spring are a beautiful early show of color. 🌸
Good morning everyone! Beautiful flowers! Blessings 💞
I was wondering if you could comment on the longevity of the perennials, when you happen to know. As I get older with less energy and muscle flexibility to garden, I’m more selective and really appreciate plants that perform longer than a couple of years. Example: gaillardia. Such a pretty pop of color but gone so soon. Thanks so much for your channel. You’re a wonderful inspiration and resource.
Great request 😊I used to be an avid gardener, but now in my elder years I'm wondering about plants that work to improve themselves, I even just started looking into miniature African violets to keep my hobby thriving.
Thank you so much for sharing your plans for the new property with us!
Looking forward to seeing them in local garden centres!
Very helpful. There are so many plants, thus it’s wonderful that you help us find the ones that will work for our climates and color palates.
Nice to hear about the growth habits of perennial plants. Helps to learn what might work for my flower beds. I’m excited to hear about a hibiscus that is pink, has large flowers, but stays more compact. This one would fit better in my small planting area. Yay! 💚💚💚
Oh can’t wait for those perennial primroses!!!
Love it when you and your Mom shop through the Garden Center. I have a problem deciding what I want most. It’s all so gorgeous.
Good morning, Everyone
Ok Laura, you have me drulling over here!! I wish I could plant them all.
I love that they have improved phlox. I always got powdery mildew, and gave up on growing the older varieties. Opalescent is awesome. That new Sedum and creamy hosta may have to be new items for me this year!🤗
Thank you for sharing. I am excited for all the new plants especially since a lot of them are included in my zone 9.
I agree!
I’ve been trying to add more perennials in my garden! So I’m definitely taking note on all of the pretty zone 9 plants!! ❤
Yes!
I was so happy to see Zone 9 plants.
They are beautiful!
So, so pretty. I wish I had room in my garden to try them all! Thanks for sharing Laura. 😊
Good and blessed evening to everyone!
Excellent editing on the past two videos. Great job, Ken! 🌺
Yes, the love story hosta is beautiful!!!!!!
Thank you for letting us know about the new plants. A couple in there, I'm excited about.
I'd love to get hands on a Love Story Hosta! Wow! I'm in coastal, Eastern Canada and my Hostas always grow great and massive. What an addition that would make to my gardens.
Really want to try the new artemesia, Silver Lining. Love icy blue in the garden.
Beautiful new varieties. Hope I can find the Pineapple lilies and the Hosta.❤
Ohhh gosh! I'm excited! Can't wait to get some of these in my garden.
Oooh, can't wait to try the coralbell.
Good Morning! 🎄 I am willing to try new varieties of plants! I will add a few of these to my list! 🙂📋🖋💮🌿
WOWWWW, ALL ARE SO GORGEOUS !!! We LOVE that you LOVE to talk about plants !!!!
I think I could listen to you do so all day 🥰🤩🥳 THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ALL THE PURE JOY YOU SHINE ON US. 💥💕💥
I've got my list ready for next season...thank you Laura❤

The Lilly’s have like a spark on the tip of blooms!!! So beautiful!!!
Beautiful new plants!
Yes they look great. Very interesting. Thank you so very much for sharing this with us.🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
They're all beautiful 😍
I have a baby pineapple in my back garden that makes me very happy, it looks very similar to the pineapple lily you show, and now I want the lily in the front garden
oh boy!!! so many beautiful plants and perennials!! love that!! thanks for the info!! 🥰❤thanks for the video!! 🥰❤
Thank you Laura. Such beautiful plants❤
Great information, I'm excited to see what will be at my garden center in the spring 🌸🥀🌺 Thanks Laura!
Oh I wish I had more sunny areas to plant…or that flowers liked shade more!
That periwinkle popsicle may be perfect for a flower bed redesign I've been mapping out!
That was a great selection I can grow them all but the pineapple ones but I'm going to try as house plant. Thanks for putting this together
Oh how i enjoy these videos. Thanks for sharing.
You should have good luck with the primrose over winter. We are in the Idaho panhandle, and the ones I'd received as sympathy gifts did so well I bought more.
That hosta is really neat! Looks like a paint by number picture!
Good morning all have a safe and blessed day ❤️ 🎄
Some really beautiful plants for our gardens next year. Great video great advice.
I can't wait to try some of these in my garden!!
Love all those plants , I live now in zone 10 a . Can’t plant any of those here but I do admire them very much. I’m considering moving 😂 . I am willing to try some though in the shade specially the daylily , maybe the hibiscus.
Thank you for the video!
Yay!!! Love Garden Answer!
We have in hanging baskets on our Arbor Gold Sedum,… OMGosh!!! Gorgeous!!!
Very fun to see some color! I love the sedum and will be on the lookout for them this Spring
I love how much better your editing is! Great video!
Beautiful ornaments! Starting in the year my brother and I were born my mother always got each of us an ornament for that year and she’d add the year to it somewhere. As we got older we could pick them out ourselves. When we moved out on our own those ornaments came with us to start our own trees and traditions. She still got us a new ornament each year (and added our spouses in as well) that we could take home. They usually reflected something about us (cycling ornaments for my brother and husband who like to bike, musical instruments that we play) or from vacations we’ve taken as a family. Every year I love pulling out those ornaments from my mother and enjoying the memories over all these years.
Can't wait to get my hands on some of these.
Always exciting, yes. Your garden has grown so much in size these last couple of years. I have a question...is maintenance done according to your zone map as before? Is that how Paul and Bethany manage to keep it so nice looking?
Thank you for the educational video today ❤
Hmmm...cant wait for spring 😍🌼🌺🪷🌱🌾🏵️🌿
Excited about the lillies!
Hi Laura! Those are some really pretty perennials. I'd like to try a couple in pots. Thank you so much for sharing1
Oh yes the hosta is beautiful 😍
Very helpful!
Lot more zone 9s than usual, glad I can actually look forward to new plants in my zone
I hope i could have one of that beautifull hostas plants next season😊
Good afternoon from Delaware Garden Answer friends.
I wish I had more room to add some of theses beautiful plants!
Would you fertilize the perennial flower blooming plants? 😊
Good morning!🌻🐝
DAYLILY! 😁
Good morning! So many new, beautiful plants. Would you please tell me where & when you place your plant order for Spring 2024? I’m hoping you and other gardeners have not placed your order yet because I know all these beautiful plants will be sold out!! I’m always a day late and dollar short!! LOL
Do you have a local garden center? That would be the first place I would check.
Afternoon Everyone 🥰
I’ve grown pineapple lilies as container summer annuals but found they attract a ton of bugs so won’t repeat again, beautiful tropical vibes though! Daylilies and hostas are champions every time!!
That hosta is gorgeous! I planted sedums for the first time last spring, 2 dies and one is doing ok. I didn’t fertilize it and I don’t water them…..thought they were hardy but they don’t appear to be for me anyways
Those Hosta's look like paintings!
Looking forward to the love story hosta for my shade garden. The pineapple plant looks fun as well BUT I don't have enough sun in my garden.
excited to try some
Oh Laura, were you a Friends watcher? Supposebly. It made me giggle because I still do it too. 😊
I love all the varied shades of green in that new hosta! Looking forward to spring already. I’ve signed up to go to the PW Direct garden event next August here in Michigan-you and Aaron should come! You could visit Mackinac again too-just a thought lol. 😊
I love Primroses!! ❤️💫❤️
What FUN 🤩
Wishing for springtime.
