    THIS STORY:
    J. D. Tippit was an American World War II U.S Army veteran and a police officer who served for the Dallas Police Department. Approximately 45 minutes after the assassination of John F. Kennedy, Tippit was shot and killed in a residential neighborhood in the Oak Cliff section of Dallas, Texas by Lee Harvey Oswald, who would later turn out to be identified as the assassin.

The Angel face you see is the Haserot, named “The Angel of Death Victorious". The stoic angel is seated on the marble gravestone of canning entrepreneur Francis Haserot and his family. Holding an extinguished torch upside-down, it represents a symbol of life extinguished. Wings are outstretched and the gaze is straight ahead.
IN THE END, DEATH ALWAYS WINS. LEST THE FACES NOT BE FORGOTTEN...
This channel is focused on casually walking and viewing a handful of the thousands of forgotten names and faces at various cemeteries near and afar. Seeing their faces up close. And when able, telling the stories behind their names.
Most graves are unknown and lost to history.
    Some are famous.
    And some infamous....
    ....and some with tragic endings.

That is indeed true. But what ppl don't realize, and there is much evidence, witnesses regarding Tippit's actions that day. Is that he was an alleged "crooked cop" with the offer to be promoted to a cia OO. Tippit failed to find and shoot whoever it was he was frantically looking for, the mysterious phone calls he made, one being at the record store, and another at a gas station. And bc he was allegedly "in on it" or had orders with a "need to know only" situation. And he did not find the "culprit".. allegedly LHO, he was shot, by as at least 5-7 witnesses stating on record, by a short stocky man, definitely not a LHO description. More likely Jack Ruby, who lived a block away, coincidentally. The one man who emphatically denied the shooter looked like LHO, was shot in the back of the head, survived, and promptly changed his testimony to definitely being LHO who shot Tippit. A lot of first witness accounts with the exact description, were completely ignored. And some threatened and left Dallas never to be found, except for their witness testimony on film.

He was a "rogue crooked cop" doing a frantic chase for an unknown person, unknown to us...within the 15-20 minutes after President Kennedy was murdered in broad daylight. All other DPD vehicles were called in to help with the tragedy, but Tippit was chasing an order, failed and taken out for it. Less witnesses.

What a hero! I remember so well watching the funeral of President Kennedy and little John John saluting his dad as his casket passed by, even though I was only 5 years old at the time. I can't remember the exact way the story goes that my dad told me, but we were in Miami for a family vacation during the same time that President Kennedy was there right before he went to Dallas. I remember my Dad saying that his motorcade went right by our hotel, and the Secret Service were all over the place. It's so surreal to think that my family and I were just yards from him not long before he died. It was a very sad time for the whole country. Even little kids like me at the time felt it 😢 💐

The 8+ witnesses that saw a "short stocky man" shoot Tippit, WAS Jack Ruby. Tippit was part of the taking out of LHO, but Oswald realized he was being set up and went a different direction to the cinema for "orders" and Tippit failed to do the job. He had to be silenced for it. Funny how they found..on film LHO's wallet at the scene, but quickly hid that bc LHO had his wallet on him at the cinema. They now officially deny the wallet was at the scene, but it is filmed on a major news network who had arrived before the DP had. Tippit was a rogue crooked cop. There is much evidence to prove this.

I’ve heard/read from several sources that he was a dirty cop but I’ve never found anything that would confirm that. When I get into a JFK assassination discussion with a Lone Nutter they want proof and sources. Otherwise they just dismiss what I say if it doesn’t fit the WCR.

Robert Kennedy Jr he said that his uncle outlived his injuries he was never shot in the head and because Tippit resembled JFK Roscoe White and Billy Seymour shot and killed him and the officer is buried at Arlington Cemetery where Kennedy should be.. Robert Kennedy Jr said that his uncle lived till he was 103 and died in 2021..He said that all this will come out in 2024..🤔..We will see I thought they were both shot both at Parkland hospital and they did a body switch..John Liggett he was the guy that did the surgery on Tippit they said how they did the body switch..But last mouth Robert Kennedy Jr dropped a bombshell saying that John Kennedy never died..lived to be 103 years old and died in 2021...Unreal...

Mr. Tippit would be so proud that you made this video. What a wonderful dedication to his life and sacrifice. Before this I had never even seen any mention of him, or his family.... He is a true American Hero that is now digitally archived forever, as long as this channel is up.....

Thank you for telling his story and keeping his story alive. I had seen his photo and heard a little bit about him but never heard his whole story. Thank you for sharing this information. His wife lived a long time. I'm glad she found happiness again in her life.

The assassination really shocked the nation. I was in my first apartment that day. It was just a heartbreaking event. Officer Tippitt probably saved others by stopping that day. He will forever be a hero. Rest in peace. Thank you for remembering him.

A tragedy all around. I used to believe in the standard "Oswald was the lone gunman" story until I dug deeper. He was A shooter -- but not the only one. The fact that he was murdered before he could tell the world what really happened and who else was involved speaks volumes. Sadly, Officer Tippit was murdered after living through the hell of WWII and later becoming an everlasting part of one of our nation's darkest days. Nice work once again Ron.

I find it odd that a fellow police officer would even consider dating his widow. I guess those were different times. Now it is considered taboo or disrespectful if a police officer or firefighter tries to be with a widow. I was in the fire service for 25 years and I know this to be true. Widows were always off limits to those on the job.
