- What Is a High Quality Cheap Distortion Pedal
Let's look at the Joyo Uzi. This is a high quality cheap distortion pedal. It has a very hi gain amp like sound to it with very useable and tasteful gain. To me it sounds like a 7 or 8 out of 10 for gain level that definitely gives you a nice full and saturated sound that works well live and for recording. Along with a great eq section it sorts a bias knob to flip between an American Mesa like sound or a British Marshall-esq sound. The Joyo Uzi is one of the best cheap high quality distortion pedals I have come across.
Nice sounding distortion. My favorite cheap distortion is the Danelectro Fab Metal. Very adjustable and is both a distortion and a great fuzz depending on the settings. I like it better than a Big Muff.
I love the Fab Metal, I was so surprised by how well it packed a punch the first time I played it. I hear it's guts are identical to the DOD Grunge pedal, they do sound similar.
At last a very good demo fof this pedal, now im buying one
I'm glad I could help. This pedal is awesome!
Thanks for the review brother
The bias is more of a tightness/sag control. To the left is more saggy and bloomy, with more low end. To the right is more crisp and percussive.
Thanks for the info.
Amazing pedal, M. Shadows. :D
La recomiendo es un pedal versátil y tiene todo lo que uno quieren en distorsión.🎉👌
You should Try to compare with nux fireman too. Brown sound type dist. I think make a compare all brown sound pedal like mxr 5150, UZI, Fireman nux, etc is interesting content. Because nowadays many guitarist really2 loves the brown sound type for their high gain
Awesome distortion pedal
It's awesome for the money! It looks cool too!
Dude, I need this pedal. How many watts is it and does it come as a combo too? Asking for a friend
You just plug the pedal into an already existing amp and it'll work.
Do you think this pedal can achieve the brown sound or some soldano evh tones?
You can get pretty close with it.
Overdrive or Distortion?
Do you happen to have a G3?
Are you talking about the Zoom G3? I don't have one. I may look into getting one if there's any interest in making a video for it.
@@DustinAlford ah no sorry, the revv!
@@theshitheads3178 I don't but I've looked at it before. If I can get one at a low price I'll definitely get one, they rock though. I was tempted on buying one of their mini heads as well one of these days too. Hopefully I can get some Revv on this channel some day lol.
@@DustinAlford I got one and returned it about a month ago. Didn't really seem to give me a sound that was way different than I can get out of the boss katana anyway. Would be good to compare cheap to expensive pedals I think.
@@theshitheads3178 Thanks for letting me know what you thought about it. I'd love to do more expensive gear but it's usually out of my budget unless it's one of those must have pieces of gear. An expensive vs cheap video sounds like a pretty cool concept. I may do one in the future with all the distortions I have at the moment.
is it versatile?
I think you've reverted american and british side
I think you revert british/american
Out of tune guitar.. please tune your guitar before making video
first buy a tuner
