They our brutal I love-‘em I have them in a RRX24 came with them , I liked them so much I bought 2 more for my new Scetcher C1 Hellraiser BlackCherry it’s has EMG’s 81B 89N Postion I believe that’s correct .. and there 7pin and not 3 like them Srymour Blackouts pain in the ass I have pull everything.. Pots all wiring etc. It won’t coil tapping anymore I will say that and K25pots will be installed These EMG’s completely cuts out your chord playing especially on pull offs in the lower registers so out they come and in with Seymour Blackouts

yes it’s a fine design I had one as I was looking for something to replace a Wah wah I regretted selling years ago that cost about 10 bucks it was so cheap and old I thought anything would be better little did I know that years later it would be so rare. Because the WD7 had so many knobs and various settings I thought it would be miles better and a worthy replacement unfortunately no,,my old vintage wah sounded better infact I have tried many wah wah and the nearest to it was funny enough the smaller ibanez wH 10 a great underrated wah wah yet still not as good as my old one it beat all of these and the cry baby’s hands down it was made in the Late 70s in England now what was it called?.

I bought an EX delay pedal and they sent me the inferno in the correct delay box 😂 (inferno was like $20 more than the pedal I was trying to buy so I didn’t say anything and kept it 🤷🏼‍♂️)

I just got one recently. Hands down it's my favorite pedal! It's a huge ass demon in a little box. I have pedals that cost in the hundreds and this thing slays them all.

This is helpful on my Marshall DSL100H which does not have the Master Volume the DSL100HR has. DSL100H has 11 pots, the DSL100HR 13 pots, east to spot. On the H model it gives the amp a Master Volume via the fx loop so it’s between the preamp and the power amp.

Fun Fact: Josh Scott from JHS Pedals tried _like h€ll_ to find out what circuit the FAB Distortion was based on, and couldn't. So this pedal holds a special place for me, just on the strength of that fact. 😂

For 200 more dollars u could get a used 5150 combo amp for guutar center. Im pissed a pawn shop by me had a 5150 2x12 and were gan give it to me for 250. And i waited too long 😢

The overdrive chanel good at high volume?

Revisiting mine… use it in Manual mode, yeah, cabs off, any pedal in front driving hot the POD input, any: boost, eq, overdrive, pre, just dial the volume higher than half way to use it as boost/drive before the POD, works great. Combine it with light dialing of the drive knob on the POD (as it’s not a great drive but works well in combination with the external pedal before the POD). Sometimes the cab sim works ok but more often not. Amp model works ok for finding tone, as the change is drastic usually, most won’t work but two or three will, try, it’s a quick setup. The presets, mmmm, find them ok rarely as start point, tweak is always needed and takes me longer to find a good sound via the presets,, useful if lack of ideas and want to explore crazy sounds to see if any fits the tune… prefer manual mode… Yeah, do not plug the guitar straight to the POD, put something in between to drive the POD (drive and distort works great, fuzz, any pre, eq volume up, they all add clarity and response). Enjoy.

I guess you have to have a separate transformer (18v) to run this? Does it have an option for running 2 9V batteries in series?

I also have the DSL100HR, which as you mentioned has the master volumes. I turn my Master volumes down to around 1. Then in the Uktra Gain channel I turn the volume up, it sounds good from 5~7, the gain max 6 because beyond that it gets flubby (muddy). Then I inch up the master volumes. Works just like the Little Black Box for me. I also have the DSL100H, this is the amp I use the little black box with, in the fx loop at the end of the chain.

This amp sounds just as awful as I remember it sounding. I had the 2x12 amp back in the day, and I am scarred for what I paid for it new. It's just so obnoxiously farty and woofy, and the ugly mids get lost in the EQ against all that low end. But when you start cutting some of the low outs, the mids and highs come forward in this nasty wasp's nest sort of bark on every note you play. How it felt under the fingers was equally unpleasant, I felt like I had to dig in really hard to get the kind of response and attack I needed out of this amp regardless of how much I'm driving it. It also did not help one bit, with the stock speaker configuration having a massive open cabinet in the combos, it really needed that extra thump from a closed-back cabinet or at least semi-open back. I mean go google what this thing looks like from behind, the amp designer must have been an exhibitionist, even the tube chassis' just letting it's nuts hang. It's funny that you mentioned having input jack troubles, because I believe I had to replace my jack as well. I guess I'm just genuinely surprised and equally triggered to hear such high praise from this video - and that's not to knock the video at all, this guy made a great demo. I guess "One man's trash is another man's treasure" lol!

Best review I’ve seen for this pedal, I just bought one and haven’t been able to use it yet and couldn’t hardly find anything on it, great job!

Had one for a day, returned it. Onyl usable for me with Bias almost fully turned down, while Bias turned up sounded much too thin for my taste. Also too much gain, but too little dynamics for my needs. Not bad for the price, but not, what I had expected.

Well that’s on my Christmas list now

I picked one of these up and wondered the same about the red and black dot things too. Is it for setting bias? 2 of the dots had arrows on them.

I have a mg15r, is it normal to have white noise. Also when i play lower strings there is a weird noise in the background along with the reverb.

I'd like to mention that I've just bought this to the bedroom and I am more than happy

I would have no problem recording with some of the dirt tones, good 80's metal/thrash tones here.
