If I ever wanted my xps foam to know what its like in the joint, I now have an idea of how to accomplish that. Epic is an apt descriptor for this build. Another multi-discipline masterpiece. Cheers!
Amazing as always. Love watching the VR Sculpting especially. I played around with my brother's VR headset and loved it. Definitely need something like that in my life. Anway, you're on fire Knarb! Keep up all this amazing building.
I used to breed geckos a while back and as I love a natural look to their enclosures, I made my own backdrops. I used the same techniques used here: A foam base with a mixture of joint compound and a thinning agent. It's very cool to see that same technique here!
This scale works so well for epic terrain! Great job on all of the elements and bringing them together. I really like the arches set into the mountain stone.
Cool model. I don’t understand what the dwarves statue is holding up. If the chains are cut will that out cropping with the telescope in the gorge fall to the depths below?
5:55 that mix looks really easy to work with and excelente results!! does it sticks to carboard¿ Would anyone explain me what is and how to make it¿¿ I speak spanish and just a little bit of English i learned from movies so i did not understand exactly what he said about that mix. Im making an sort of ancient LED tree and wanna place it over a rocky hill, but I have no idea what material to use to cover the cardboard
Yeah it will stick to cardboard well. It's about 1 part plaster mix, 1 part water, 1 part celulose insulation and some black gesso mostly for the black paint as well as the acrylic binder in it.
The build is awesome but I have to say the thumbnail really looks kind of boring and confusing. I couldnt really make out what it pictured. The first shot of the video would have made a better thumbnail maybe although i can understand wanting to put the most important object in the thumbnail.
I can hand-craft most of the things in this video, just takes way longer and less reproducible. 3D printers make me enjoy the hobby a lot more, but they are not for everyone.
nice work.... but why that bone-idle speech ???? Non-native-english speakers ( americans allways speek this boring and annoying way ! ) don´t understand what you say. :-(
Had to look up what bone idle meant. Huh, not sure why, that's just the voice I have. I sound fake and forced if I try and use any other voice. Sorry you cant understand me.
You brought the art to life. I’m still blown away by how good this looks!
Thanks Franky, your illustrations are marvelous.
Phenomenal craft. Great use of aluminum foil for fast rocks on the fly. I'm sure the bolt neck guys are mind blown to see this come to life.
Thank you very much!
‘Shank your foam into submission’ 🤣
Amazing build! Going to have to remember the alfoil rock mold technique.
Haha, very fun to do. Cheers!
Cubed Encounters is a great idea! Really looking forward to seeing more of your builds and more of this new fantasy setting! Cheers!
I have some ideas, cheers!

Its a rough life in the slammer
Always stunned at how you marry together tech and hand crafting! Great concept and an amazing build.
Thanks Terran

Thanks so much!
This is poetry!
a modular world of cubes would be insane, no matter which direction they go just grab another cube
Would be neat! Thanks.
This is extraordinary, my dear. The foot square seems to be an ideal cosmography for this, and I so look forward to seeing more from you.
I have more planned, cheers!
Love the little details!
The little details are my favorite too! Thanks Lyla!
You add a resin river in between, that’s a great diorama. The 3D sculpt incredible
I respectfully disagree. It’s already a really great diorama, as is.
Absolutely stunning! I really like how you incorporated the 3d printed elements into the build. I might have to try that bridge technique.
Still need to try some diff designs, but im liking it so far.
8:45 underrated chapter title
Haha, was having a bit of fun with them.

Right on! Cool to see lots of different hobbies use similar things.
Just discovered you and man you're criminally undersubscribed
This scale works so well for epic terrain! Great job on all of the elements and bringing them together. I really like the arches set into the mountain stone.
Fantastic diorama work ! The result is superb . Love very much the underground part !
Thank you!
What a marvelous build! And such a dynamic sketch to work from!
That underspray of colors on the cliff face was a very nice touch 👌
This is a very cool collab!
Fantastic build, and a great collab!
Thanks a bunch!
Super dope build Knarb! That scale looks like a lot of fun to work in
Thanks Nick! It's a lot of fun!
WOW MAN YOU ARE A TRUE HOBBYIST
lovely!
Thanks Bill
Great build
More of these would be great
You should print 10mm scale miniatures from your campaign for use in these maps.
I have done a couple already at this scale! They are really tiny :)
Ur builds are truly amazing and watching ur videos is wonderful and relaxing
Creative and stunning job, congrats!👍👍
Thank you very much!
I love the variety of builds on your channel
It’s cool you can cut the plaster away
Thus was such an impressive build.
Absolutely amazing!
This looks amazing man. Cool details 👍
Thanks so much. Was a fun build!
Heck yes! love the dwarven theme!
Very very cool !
Love it Johny !
Great concept drawing also 👌
Haha. Thanks for watching to the end.
Cubed Encounters ftw!
Awesome vid, more Cubed Encounters please! 🔥🔥🔥
Fantastic video, and Cubed Encounters is a genius idea!
Thanks Jeffery!
Very cool!
Im hitting like even though I've never shanked my xps foam 😇🤣🤣
Perfect, never too late to start!
Awesome!!
dwarfen stuff are great!!!
10mm is addictive and amazing! Great job once again.
Thanks Walter!
Really wish I had all the tools and supplies you have, and work place. lol
Just amazing 😍😍
A great craft as always
oh woa you modeled her yourself?? sick dude!
Cool model. I don’t understand what the dwarves statue is holding up. If the chains are cut will that out cropping with the telescope in the gorge fall to the depths below?
Yeah that's the idea. There's structures in real life that this is inspired by.
@@KnarbMakesok, cool!
Amazing.
It is epic!
Great work! What is the recipe for Knarb Special ? Thank you.
Black acrylic gesso, 45min joint compound, water, cellulose pulp added to taste.
Amazing as usual!
welol looks good to me see as post new like story is thare a book ? just had ask
Yeah, stay tuned, Ill post a community update when the KS goes live, will have a book.
Oh, man… This is almost exactly how I’ve envisioned one of the dwarven outposts in my homebrew RPG world. O.O.
Awesome m8

Much respect to those who gave their own spin to classic lore... But... No roast for not giving that female dwarf golden tusks...
"a woman's horse laughter" Thanks RUclips Subtitles :D
Hey. Still works as an interesting detail of the adventure, maybe it was intentional, lol.
I.would have chosen to make bridge with simple string and ice cream sticks, with toothpick supports.
That was gonna be my initial approach as well, but I wanted to try a new technique out.
Thought dnd was 28mm scale ?
Typically, yes. No reason it can't be played in other scales too.
This is my comment to appease the great algorithm
Thanks James
"Dwarves with tusks."
So...short orcs?
Bunch of Dorks
The build is awesome but I have to say the thumbnail really looks kind of boring and confusing. I couldnt really make out what it pictured. The first shot of the video would have made a better thumbnail maybe although i can understand wanting to put the most important object in the thumbnail.
Right on. Thumbnails are hard, heh.
The female dwarf looks more like a female orc to me. Tusks are more of an orc thing to me. Never thought of why dwarves should have them.
He says his wife donated, but truth be told, it was a 5 finger discount.

To be honest, builds based on 3d printing is pretty useless for one who does not desire a 3d printer. Great concept though.
