I love your style, and I really appreciate you sharing about your tremor. I’ve got a condition that causes fatigue and a tremor. For 15 years I’ve been looking for something on which to focus as a coping mechanism, as all of my favorite pass times were once very active and outdoors. I’ve been working on learning watercolor techniques for about three months. I am very much perfectionist and have had difficulty letting that go. I cannot for the life of me paint straight line. The harder I try the worse it is. In sharing your experience with your essential tremor, being able to use that in your artwork, you have somehow given me permission to just let all of that perfection go and embrace whatever the tremor helps me create. I look forward to watching many more of your videos and learning how to create loose art and seeing the beauty in it. I really can’t adequately express the freedom I feel, the eagerness to get out of bed and go paint.
Yay I’m the first person to comment. I loved this video, as always. All of the decks are fantastic but I do have my favourite and think I’m biased! lol xxx
I loved watching you create the little iris painting. The beautiful colors and how they bleed into each other. It helps me too loosen up also. It's my favorite style, but I still need some warming up time to get to that place of really letting go. Thank you for all the flower and drawing inspiration Allison!
YIPPEEEEE! Great to see your latest video, Alison. I'm grateful to have your deck, and Cathy's Oracle Deck. All are invaluable to me. I will continue to watch your fantastic video. 😘❤️
Hi Alisson, hope you and your family are well with all the wild fires in Jasper. It breaks my heart to see the beautiful forests burn, families loosing their homes and the poor animals suffering 😔 Hope everything is okay in Calgary. Thinking of you
I have a question about the framing of the watercolor you showed. When you take it to a gallery do you put the glass back into the frame? My gallery is so picky, it requires you always to have wire across the back and always glass over the painting no hooks on the back. Just wondering. I like those frames so much. Will check at our Michael's tomorrow.Thanks.
Yes, same requirements with the gallery I was with… for an upcoming show, they require “s “ hooks, so I use epoxy glue and add my own hooks with wire backing over the cheaper back board. I can send you a pic of that helps… feel free to email me

Thankyou. All is well in Calgary, but yes, it has been so tragic with losing so much of Jasper.
Loved this lesson using transfer paper. I wasn't clear if this is practice or you'd use this in as a part of painting you would sell. Thanks.
thanks Libby! It's a great practice to have in your tool kit.

Great ideas!! I printed the image . Does it come out fuzzy?
That's strange- it shouldn't look fuzzy... Are you able to see the basic line shapes? Wish I could troubleshoot that with you but I haven't a clue!
