  • In this video I discuss my current art and artist inspiration and some great books.
I share a little watercolour exercise in relaxation , by creating a background with my round brush on 140 lb watercolour paper. I show a few examples of mark making once the background dries, although I demonstrate this on another dried painting.
I chat about reproducing my art into canvas and giclee or 100% cotton rag prints. I show what my certificate of authenticity looks like and share my recent prints and how I was inspired to paint them.
One print is titled "Flourish" and the other "Find Your Light". "Flourish" was inspired by a class I took by artist, Pam Garrison.

Hi Allison, I just wanted to let you know about something I found on Amazon. You were taking about trying to find new substrates, I just purchased a pack of 12 11x14 in watercolor canvas panels from a company called Phoenix. They were $26 I believe. I haven’t used them yet but I’m hoping I like them for the price. Love your style and personality, so so inspiring. Thank you!!!❤

@@allisondawrantThat card you pulled last night was intended for me. Write down your thoughts and feelings. Just hours before I found out my sister has lung cancer. It is in the left lung. It is called adenocarcinoma. She never smoked a day in her life. But it is very common and it can come from so many things that we are exposed to in our surroundings. Your video gave me some comfort. Thank you Allison. ❤
