It actually is a great idea to review these after several months. The excitement has passed and you know whether it works for you, how it performs and if you would repurchase. Thank you. Great idea, really 👍
@@catherinelynnfraser2001i’m about to buy it because i can’t find my fresh sugar strawberry face scrub anywhere, and she’s having a sale on the site still. i love finding you around, lovie!!! 🥰🥰🥰
Really appreciate the update after several months, so that you have enough time to really get to know the products & try them in different seasons. Also, I loooove the Huda Empowered palette. I know a lot of people really disliked it, but it's definitely perfect for my everyday looks (unless my eye area is flaking, like right now, & I'm only doing cream/liquid). Lol i got it in boxycharm tho, when these high end palettes are under $10, it's hard not to love them
I’m actually pissed about the Fresh formula change. They should let people know before they charge exorbitant prices for bad lip balm. I used to ADORE the Advanced Care treatment balm, and I wondered why it was horrible. I thought maybe I’d gotten a bad one, but NO. They just went and effed it up for everyone. 😡🤬 For close to $30, they have some nerve putting out that garbage.
Of all the shadow sticks out there, the ELF shadow sticks don’t crease! I wore them when I had my babies and my eyeshadow didn’t move over my whole hospital stay!
I bought the Kosas sunscreen and the Tower 28 moisturizer. I have the same thoughts as you. Not particularly impressed with either of them. One thing to add about the Tower 28 moisturizer would be how SMALL it is for $24. Love your videos, Lauren! ❤
Perioral dermatitis isn't normal eczema, you can't moisturize it away. A very gentle cleanser and simple gentle moisturizer that isn't heavy is all you need. Everything else skincare wise and makeup will irritate it,I suffered with it and it's very annoying and stubborn to get rid of. No exfoliation chemical or otherwise or face masks either. 😔
When I was getting flares of my perioral dermatitis, my Derm told me to stop using any steroid creams on it. Then they gave me an antibiotic ointment that cleared it right up. It's not a bacterial infection, but something about the antibiotic ointment calms down the rash. Make sure you go see your Dermatologist!
Love my Laneige lip glowy balms, can't be without it! Whatever i put on my lips before i leave the house doesn't matter, the Laneige balm is what's going to end up there. ❤
Super helpful to hear your thoughts after trying out the products for a while! I have been watching you for years now and really value your beauty opinions, so I love hearing updates on how products are working out! 💗 I’m so curious about the Danessa Myricks Yummy Skin, but just opted to try the Haus Labs foundation instead.
If you want a nice replacement for the Fresh lip balms, in my opinion the Physicians Formula Organic Wear Lip Balms are a really great lip balm. I have several around the house. My top favorite lip balm of all time. I also think they feel similar to the old Fresh formula. Maybe give those a try.
They are good but depends on the shade you choose for your skin tone. I prefer to use the, as a glowy blush and not as a highlighter. They’re very pretty
I have a love hate with the DM yummy skin tint also! Some days it’s amazing and other days it’s a disaster. I need to start writing down what I use with it to figure out what makes it work.
It’s driving me insane how all these beauty/skin companies are going clean and changing their formulas for the worst in the end. I’m over it. Not everybody wants or believes the new “clean” phase.
Especially because “clean” beauty isn’t a term or idea that has any industry standard. It’s just for marketing and green washing purposes. Frustrating and dumb 👎🏻
Hi Lauren, I just wanted to tell you that I had finally picked up your Oden's Eye collab when I ordered the Holiday collection set and I just wanted to say that I love it soooo much! The yellow is my favourite color and I didn't have anything like that in my collection. Much love to you during the holidays!
I switched to the Necessaire deodorant and I’ll never go back to the traditional types. I did buy the Sandalwood scent and prefer it over the others. I didn’t have any transitional period like all the other natural deodorants I’ve tried. I also love the packaging of the Sandalwood. Looks like a fancy perfume bottle.
I had perioral dermatitis years ago. Caroline Hirons recommended in one of her videos to wash your face after brushing your teeth to prevent it. Apparently, toothpaste residue is irritating. I never had it again after taking her advice.
Honestly, you're the only RUclipsr I want to watch! And also, if you need a loving home for some of those bare minerals highlighters, I got one! Love those
I used to love the laneige glowy lip balm but the summer Fridays has taken over for me. I just prefer the thick cushy texture and I feel like they leave my lips far more nourished than the laneige and the balm lasts a long time, longer than the laneige for me
PSA try the Maison Louise Marie deodorant! I had the Necessaire and your thoughts are mine exactly but this one from MLM is exactly what I was wanting. It’s basically perfect imo. Also this eye look is spectacular! You’ve inspired me to pull my Tropical Dusk out!
Just stumbled across your channel and I’m living for it!! As a teenager I find it hard to know where I should start for a skincare routine. Could you share some tips on those who are just getting started in the skincare??
For the best skin for life, save your money and go to a professional, a dermatologist, most are covered by insurance and/or a professional experienced esthetician. Over the counter products do not compare, and the pros I mentioned are educated and trained.
Any skincare routine is based off three steps: cleanse, moisturise, protect from uv during the day. So if you are just starting out i would suggest makeup remover (che micellar water from Garnier is great) + a gel cleanser (like the hydrating one from Cerave), moisturise afterwards (the Cerave hydrating cream is great and you get a ton of product for the price) and last but not least use SPF in the morning!!! Preventing is better then treating, so with spf you can prevent signs of aging. I am italian so i don't know what's available in the us, i usually buy japanese sunscreens from yesstyle or stylevana, some k-beauty and j-beauty reseller, cause i really enjoy japanese sunscreens (they look good under makeup and don't feel oily) and are cheaper than western sunscreens
Great video. You look absolutely stunning. If you could do a video on your eyeliner and the brushers you use for your eyeliner. It always look stunning I struggle with eyeliner. It would be really helpful.❤
I threw away my DMB yummy skin compact bcoz it got gross bcoz I was dipping my fingers in it I lost the spatula entirely my fault but I was getting milia so I hit it & quit it I could see myself rebuying if there is a shade between translucent & 2 that is not pinky! & this time i would make sure not to lose the spatula!!!! My bad!!!!
We have somewhat the same skin tone depth and I also am in love with the Dior Cherry blush. A few years back I had the pink one when it was last trendy and didn’t enjoy it at all but that cherry color got me this time and I’m glad it did.
I have mature normal to dry skin and live in a cold & dry climate and love the DM Yummy Skin Tint. Sometimes I will mix it with a higher coverage foundation too.
Do you use a primer? It clung to dry patches so badly and I couldn’t make it work for me. But I’ve seen other people with dry skin say they liked it so I feel like I’m doing it wrong
@@docp4449 I am over diligent about exfoliating my skin with a glycolic acid (from The Ordinary) because I also was experiencing dry patches which are now gone thankfully. I do use a primer, I rotate between the elf liquid poreless primer (the pinkish toned one), the Milk Makeup Hydro Grip primer around my nose or the Tatcha liquid silk canvas. I have used it without a primer though and it was great. Depends a lot on your skin and everyone is different. Hope you can make it work for you!! 😊
I loved the Lip Glowy Balm but sadly they make my lips so dry and irritated so I stopped using them. Honestly the Laneige lip sleeping mask does the same thing and I’ve never seen the hype
It makes me sad when brands change great products to "clean" formulations and screw up a good thing. I know you dislike the mini fresh lip balms but I love them and I have a bunch from past holiday sets, and I guess I'll be savoring them and not look into getting future holiday sets again if the formula isn't going to be as smooth. I don't like a waxy balm and that's why I've loved these. Pity.
A very common cause of perioral dermatitis is SLS in toothpaste. For anyone that struggles with this I highly recommend trying a toothpaste that doesn’t contain SLS. Sensodyne has one. All of the hello toothpastes are safe and I believe Hi Smile is also SLS free. (Do not confuse this for fluoride lol please use toothpaste with fluoride) Another option is to wash your face or at least the area around your mouth after brushing your teeth and then apply petroleum jelly to your lips and affected area. I’d recommend trying the toothpaste swap first for simplicity purposes but either way I hope this helps ♥️
Honestly from all the beauty companies out there, Sephora is the worst. Their customer service is horrible. If your package is lost or delivered to the wrong location, you have to go to ups and look for your package while paying them the money. This is really funny when people spend 1000s$$$ and then go through this. SMH 🤦♀️ never shopping there again
anybody have both the kosas & sheseido sunscreen ? the way lauren describes dreambeam makes em sound kinda similar & i luuuuuv the sheseido . should i check out the kosas ??? :0

The cherry is something from the Barbados. I think she’s trying to use it as a special antioxidant/ anti-aging agent.
