Is the in-dash receiver losing it's radio station presets and clock reset each time you start the vehicle? If so, the Yellow Wire on the in-dash receiver wire harness has an incorrect connection to the vehicle. Is it possible to preset preferred radio stations manually and scroll them with arrows when smartphone is not in use? BSM finds station with best signal but not allways with best content. I can store favourite stations in the app, but in same time they should be accessed easier and without smartphone.

It should be another way - first favorite stations and then other. Maybe I am wrong, but people tend to listen their favorite stations... That would be my suggestion. I did everything according to the video! A Samsung tab bt. connected to the head unit! The pioneer list includes the Samsung tab! Yet when I start the app it says no device! If I press it, the device will not find a device for searching! Iphone 7 tel is instantly connected! What should I do?

If the issue persists, I recommend to delete all phones from the in-dash receiver's Bluetooth Memory. Also, delete the in-dash receiver from the phone's Bluetooth memory. It should be very easy. Step 1 Remove the old in-dash receiver and it's install collar. Step 2. remove the Pioneer Wire harness from the old in-dash receiver. Step 3 install the new wire harness from the Pioneer PSH-10BT. I cant connect my iphone 12 with smart sync app, how can I use the radio without this app, I can only use the radio, and the display ask me to download smart sync app constantly, its really frustrating, and annoying if its not possible to use it without this app, if my husband is driving in the car, he dont have at mobilephone, then he cant use the radio to anything else than the radio 😞

I have the hardest time bringing up the main screen and it's REALLY ANNOYING. I've even shut my car off in traffic to try to reset the pairing and about 25% of the time it works. I'm about to remove it unless Pioneer knows a fix??

It should be very easy. Step 1 Remove the old in-dash receiver and it's install collar. Step 2. remove the Pioneer Wire harness from the old in-dash receiver. Step 3 install the new wire harness from the Pioneer PSH-10BT. You can still plug in your phone to charge the battery. All music is heard though a wireless connection. If you choose to change phones, all versions of iPhone 5 and newer work well. Some Android phones work better than others, based on the phone maker and the service provider. To control the volume of the in-dash receiver with the Pioneer Smart Sync App on your phone, the phone and app must be actively connected to the in-dash receiver. This will work on all music sources. We will use the AM/FM Radio source in this instruction. Change to the Radio Source. Next touch the center of the screen, to select the source screen. You should now see the radio station frequency in the center of the screen. From the center of the radio station frequency numbers swipe up to raise the volume of the in-dash receiver. I cant connect my iphone 12 with smart sync app, how can I use the radio without this app, I can only use the radio, and the display ask me to download smart sync app constantly, its really frustrating, and annoying if its not possible to use it without this app, if my husband is driving in the car, he dont have at mobilephone, then he cant use the radio to anything else than the radio 😞
The Pioneer SPH-10BT is designed from the ground up to be used with a cell phone and the Pioneer Smart Sync App. 100% of the control is done through a phone. It's difficult to use this product with a cell phone. The physical controls on the in-dash receiver are very sparse because the product is designed to be used and controlled with a cell phone and the Pioneer Smart Sync app.

I have the hardest time bringing up the main screen and it's REALLY ANNOYING. I've even shut my car off in traffic to try to reset the pairing and about 25% of the time it works. I'm about to remove it unless Pioneer knows a fix??

Why my app never connect automatically with the stereo? Always I need to turn the Bluetooth off and turn on again, than open the app, and close the app. Take more than 5 minutes to connect, this is a painnn....
Please be sure your phone is not connected to another Bluetooth device like a headset or portable speaker. This can block the in-dash receiver from connecting. When you have the phone and in-dash receiver connected with the Pioneer Smart Sync App, go to the app and open the Settings and go to Phone settings. Make sure Auto Pairing is ON.

I recommend several steps to correct the issue. 1. Delete the app from your phone and go to the app store and download and re-install the app on your phone. Next Restart your phone. 2. Press the microprocessor reset button on the Pioneer SPH-10BT. You can find the microprocessor reset button behind the detachable face near the center of the receiver. You'll need paperclip or some other small point to press the microprocessor reset button. In most cases this will correct the issue. If the issue persists, I recommend to delete all phones from the in-dash receiver's Bluetooth Memory. Also, delete the in-dash receiver from the phone's Bluetooth memory. Start the pairing process from the beginning.
