      Are you saying you hear no effect on any EQ settings? Or just the high on the 3 band EQ? Please be more specific. Can you please provide the model number of the Pioneer receiver you are using? And the version of the Pioneer Smart Sync App?. In the coming months, Pioneer plans to release several new updates to the Smart Sync App offering users different ways to use and interact with the app. We thank you for your patience while we work to create a better and more capable Pioneer Smart Sync app. Please read the full text from Pioneer here: www.pioneer-carglobal.com/pss/ You can find more videos on Pioneer's RUclips Channel here: ruclips.net/user/pioneerelectronics

      @@deckerdotto6035 thanks for the swift reply.
      I have sph-ch10bt and I currently use 3.0.0. released on Dec 24 2020.
      My problem is that no matter how I increase or decrease the equalizer settings, it does not change the sound. No effect. When I chose the Powerbass - Vocal - Natural or Flat effects, I can differentiate the change however my problem is with the high pitch sounds which are way more than they are supposed to be, so I want to decrease them in the 31 band eq (or 3 band, does not matter, both adjustments dont make any change).
      I have comps on the fronts (mids and tweeters) and a subwoofer powered by a 4 channel amplifier via RCA ports. I am sure that they are correctly connected because when I close the Sub from Advanced Settings, it closes down and when I adjust the fronts they also take effect accordingly. My only problem is that EQ does not work

      This isn't normal operation for the product. I recommend to do a microprocessor reset on the SPH-10BT. You'll need a paperclip or some other small point to press the microprocessor reset button. You can find the microprocessor reset button on Pioneer SPH-10BT behind the detachable face near the center of the receiver. You can see it on a similar receiver here: ruclips.net/video/o6iawP279R4/видео.html If this doesn't correct the issue, I recommend to do a system reset. You can see it here: ruclips.net/video/drZ3Uphj26M/видео.html After the system reset, you may need to start over and pair your phone to the receiver through Bluetooth again.

    Love pioneer headunits. This is my 5th one in about 10 or so years. I just bought the s5200bt pretty much for the equalizer. My problem is when I use the smart sync app and try to adjust the 31 band eq it doesn’t apply to the music I’m listening to. It just plays the settings I set on the headunit when not using the smart set. Any ideas why? It’s my first day using this headunit

      Thank you for choosing Pioneer for many years. The Pioneer Smart Sync app works with many modern Pioneer receivers including the DEH-S5200BT. Please note: The Pioneer Smart Sync App is the controller for the 31 Band EQ. With out the app, you are using the in-dash receiver stand alone. What you described is normal operation for the product. When you are actively using the Pioneer Smart Sync app, you have access to the 31 band EQ as part of the app. When you don't have the app actively connected to the receiver and operating, the receiver will use the 13 band EQ that can be accessed through it's Audio Settings Menu. You can see the 13 band EQ in the audio menu here: ruclips.net/video/nNUyRgc8jC8/видео.html You can find a full playlist of How To videos about DEH-S5200BT here: ruclips.net/video/sO3gFyCExFA/видео.html and you can find more videos on Pioneer's RUclips Channel here: ruclips.net/user/pioneerelectronics

    • @deckerdotto6035
      @deckerdotto6035 4 года назад +1

      The 31 band EQ and all of it's settings are active in the in-dash receiver as long as the phone with the Pioneer Smart Sync App is actively connected to the in-dash receiver and you see the App indicator lit up on the in-dash receiver screen. Changing the source doesn't matter. If the phone/app are disconnected from the in-dash receiver, the in-dash receiver will default to it's built-in 13 band EQ. The Pioneer SPH-10BT has two sets of RCA outputs for operating external amplifiers. They can be set up as Front and Rear full range output with independent HPF and slope settings for each. They can also be set up as full range Front with HPF and Slope, and the rear output becomes the Subwoofer output with LPF and Slope settings. If I am running my Spotify app for my music in my MVH-MS512BS can my music be controlled from the smart sync app? Will the 31 band eq be saved every time my app is closed then reopen? And do you have to have the app open for the eq to be active? Thank you.

      You can consider the Pioneer Smart Sync App a wireless remote control to operate the marine receiver as long as the phone is in Bluetooth range of the receiver. You can control Spotify as a source on the receiver or through the Smart Sync App. Many music apps can be operated through the Smart Sync App. You can learn more about setting up music sources on the app here: ruclips.net/video/JbAC2R4GkjQ/видео.html The EQ settings are saved when you exit the EQ section of the App, however, if you don't have the Pioneer Smart Sync actively connected to the receiver, the receiver will default to it's built-in 13 band EQ. The Pioneer SPH-10BT comes with a microphone that is used for making phone calls and other voice commands. Do you have the included microphone installed? It needs to be plugged into the back of the in-dash receiver and installed in the vehicle. In many cases the microphone is installed on the vehicle headliner, near the rear view mirror, so the microphone can "hear" the drivers voice at a comfortable speaking level. You can see the included microphone and where it plugs into the back of the receiver in this unboxing video: ruclips.net/video/2X0_WyTEMp0/видео.html If you have the microphone properly installed, please press the microprocessor reset button. You'll need a paperclip or some other small point to press the microprocessor reset button.
