bought one yesterday got very disappointed with the new version of the app i'd really like to use the old version. the old one looks so much clearer and seems to have much more themes
Wondering whether the passenger could listen through bluetooth earbuds while the driver listens through the pioneer and car speakers using the same iPhone as a sound source. ¿Posible?
Did thet remove the themes on the latest iPhone update? Because i cant chose different themes

How can I use pictures from my library? I want custom pictures. Is there a way?
As of 2019 June, only the images from the Smart Sync App can be used in the background. Updates to the Smart Sync App may change this. Be sure to have the latest version of the Smart Sync App on your phone, and be sure to have the latest firmware on your Pioneer SPH-10BT. You can find it here: www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/Car/Digital+Media+Receivers/SPH-10BT#downloads You can find more videos about Pioneer SPH-10BT here: ruclips.net/video/DvtkL8KmDdA/видео.html and you can find more videos on Pioneer's You Tube Channel here: ruclips.net/user/pioneerelectronics

Since you're making the connection between devices in this video, I think I can ask my question here… How can I connect my Android phone via Bluetooth and simultaneous charge it via USB? I do get connection from USB, but there'll be no sound. No problem with BT though, but connection often gets lost when I connect the USB. Also everything works pretty fine, until I start my engine - it seems like a total connection loss, then.
I guess, I'll try the long press of the phone button. But if it works, there's still those other issues…
If you are using the in-dash receiver and the vehicle engine is NOT running, ( i.e. ignition accessory position) and then you start your vehicle, the in-dash receiver switches off, and then back on. This is a normal process and happens because power to the in-dash receiver is cut off for a moment when the vehicle ignition goes from accessory to start. This restarts the in-dash receiver, and the connection process must begin again.
When you have a Bluetooth connection to the Smart Sync App, and you plug in to the in-dash receiver through USB, the android phone is seeing the in-dash receiver as a connected MTP device and attempting to change the connection type. To stop this process, on the in-dash receiver set USB AUTO to OFF You can see how to do that here: ruclips.net/video/vjeZ34q0nvA/видео.html You can find more videos about Pioneer SPH-10BT here: ruclips.net/video/JbAC2R4GkjQ/видео.html and you can find more videos on Pioneer's You Tube Channel here: ruclips.net/user/pioneerelectronics
@@deckerdotto6035, thanks a lot for the detailed information. I found a "workaround" that kind of works for me - for now. I'd put my phone in the holder of the radio, then immediately start the engine (to avoid the switching off and on), then manually establish BT connection manually from my phone… Usually, the devices would connect quickly after this procedure, and that's when I can plug in the USB for charging.
But I will try finding the Auto USB option to shorten the whole process. 😉 👍
But I have another question that I didn't even find mentioned anywhere… Is there a possibility to store certain settings (like volume, EQ, etc) either on the device or in the app? It's frustrating sometimes to always have to change those settings after switching on again. 🤔
The in-dash receiver should hold those settings even if the vehicle is switched off and the key is removed. For example, If you were listening to radio station 100.5 at volume level 15 and switch off the vehicle. When you start the vehicle again, the in-dash receiver should automatically start at radio 100.5 and volume level 15. If these settings like the clock, radio station, and volume settings reset each time you start the vehicle you have an incorrect connection to the vehicle wiring. Specifically the Yellow Wire on the in-dash receiver. Please see this video for more information on the Yellow Wire: ruclips.net/video/-bF3uzzaT30/видео.html
@@deckerdotto6035, every time I switch on the receiver, I have (for example) the "Powerful" EQ (when I was listening to "Dynamic") @ volume 25 or so (where I usually turn up to 40-50).
I didn't wire anything apart from plugging the ISO cube connector and the plug on the device in. I tested it, and I heard noise from the radio. That's all I needed to feel OK with it. But since I still have to connect the radio antenna anyway, I'll also have a look at that yellow wire. 😉
Thanks again!
Can you somehow save those color settings? Every time I go back in the car and the smart sync app connects the Colors change to preset! Any clue??
What model number of Pioneer in-dash receiver are you using? The model number is printed on the face of the in-dash receiver and begins with the letters, SPH, DEH, or MVH. Do the Radio Station presets and the clock reset each time you start the vehicle? If so, the in-dash receiver's Yellow Wire may have an incorrect connection to the vehicle. The Yellow Wire should have constant power from the vehicle and keep these settings when the vehicle is switched off. You can see more about the Yellow Wire here: ruclips.net/video/-bF3uzzaT30/видео.html You can find more videos on Pioneer's You Tube Channel here: ruclips.net/user/pioneerelectronics
Maciek Krakowski I have that exact same problem! It is absolutely annoying, did you manage to solve it???
Please be sure you have the latest version of the Pioneer Smart Sync App installed on your phone. This should be version 2.5.1 or newer. If you are using Pioneer SPH-10BT please be sure to install the latest firmware. Why can I not change the color of the text? It is extremly annoying to have white text in a car with amber illumination!
You can change the color of the text. As shown clearly in the video above, the UI Color Setting changes the color of the text in the Smart Sync App. There are many colors to choose from. You can see it here: ruclips.net/video/wgvHfVus7Xw/видео.html You can pick the amber color as shown in the video, any maybe you won't be so extremely annoyed. @@jamiematts5424 Please be more specific with your question. What is the model number of your Pioneer in-dash receiver? What is the version number of the Pioneer Smart Sync App installed on the connected phone? Do you mean you can't see a User Interface on the phone?
