I did the hoist endorsement with all helicopter assists off and noticed how the weight was shifting along with wind and turbulence changes. I even had to line up the helicopter up wind to make it even doable. Am using HOTAS with inverted throttle and tourqe rudder pedals in a rig in VR.
i dont mess with the h125 due to the non functioning trim and it "being" out of trim bad all the time. when they start fixing things ill go back to doing career mode. right now i just mainly stick with the 407. i want to do missions like this but not with so many bugs/issues.
Visually 2024 is much better than 2020. I'd still hold onto X if you love longlining. There's been a petition for career mode for 2024 to be open sandbox. So hopefully that means we can set up custom missions with the cargo hook.🤞If you're planning on getting 2024 make sure you have a good internet connection.
What controls are you using? And I don’t know about you but I can’t get the trim to work on ANY helicopter in MSFS 2024! Pretty nice flying😉 Newtons 3rd law, with every action there is always an equal and opposite reaction. For helis and sling load.
trim works on the bell 407 and cabri but absolutely does not work on the h125 and what makes it worse is its out of trim bad in hover. i use a vkb gladiator for my main flight stick and the virpil collective with throttle for the collective control.
Man you have perseverance....I just couldn't handle that flight model, or the AI generated speech/dialogue. It would just do my head in which sucks because It would be good to have some kind of life/purpose inside FS when you felt like it but it needs to be believable and at the moment it just isnt.
Why have a "co-pilot" if they don't do anything but sit there? You'd think they would animate a body for the pilot YOU instead of having an empty seat where you are sitting! lol
Right? Had a pilot take a helo out once with one of the channels out. We were arguing against it, but off we went. He swore he had it... no he didn't. Came close to having to pickle that load into the ocean.

H125 helicopters don’t have trim.
Mine likes to nose up lol but the helicopter in 2020 the bell is freaking horrible to fly with a controller.. it kept spinning in circles

For now I’m using Spad.next as a work around and created my own force trim
H125 has a trim. You can look at the stick. But yeah, this bug with the h125 is annoying.

Thanks! Logitech 3d Extreme Pro. I know the Force trim works on the H225, G2, i think the R66. But trim isn't working on the H125.

flight and cargo dynamics/physics seem so unnatural and cartoonish (at least it does in 3rd person view)
