In real life all crop dusters have a “lightbar” swath system mounted on the hood in front of the wind screen for guidance.i don’t see how anyone could spray effectively without one Maybe flight sim could update and get one on the air tractors. Crop dusters almost always “race track” the field always making left turns due to motor torque working the outsides of the field working their way inward
The amount of times I see ground crew walking around the props is hilarious. Yea, I think the start and stop commentary is a bit bugged. I also don't believe the start/stop gray areas on the EFB were accurate to what you actually did. Minor bugs that'll hopefully be addressed. One realistic feature that's missing are the power lines that typically go up and down the farm roads. Those would have really added a higher level of difficulty on your entry and exits of the field. Another great video, thanks man!
Love the sound of Dusty Crophpper starting up!! (he was based on a different air tractor, but splash a little orange and white paint on that plane and some eyes....!).Turboprops are so cool :)
Love the vids! Are you experiencing any major game breaking bugs with the game? I just bought my thrustmaster hotas/pedals & tobii eye tracker and am frustrated that the first training modules of helicopter career is bugged. Also the tobii settings are fubar. Hoping they patch it soon.
Glad you’re enjoying them! As for bugs, only thing for me is the reputation bug that sometimes tanks the rating for no reason, other than that all good!
Nice! I have a Xbox series S and tried the Hotas one but it didn’t communicate well with my Xbox so I spent a little extra and upgraded my flight stick. But it looks like it’s serving you well!
Question: How realistic is the AT-802? Do all instruments work as intended? Or is it more like a game where you push a button to start everything? I'm holding from buying 2024 so I'm trying to gather feedback before I purchase.
Start a company and do a few missions to get y our 2nd company. Then you can collect passive income for good money while doing what you're doing. I think your first cessna is like 25k.
I've been having a hell of a time trying to get a good rhythm in this plane/ mission type. I was having constant engine trouble, the thing flies awful when it's fully loaded, almost stalling every turn, it's been rough.
For spraying there are some rules for what I know in order to do it quickly and with the minumum danger. You start spraying from the ouside of the field to the inside because of the weight of the airplane that decrease as you spray more and more. Every minuts lost and you loose money so do it quickly , turn back as soon as possible and avoid to kill youself because the aircraft at start has a big weight. Of course, as you are a simmer, the way you have sprayed is not the right one! Nice video anyway, thanks for showing the new plane. I don'have MSFS2024 yet because for the new one I neeed a new computer and want to wait until after new years in order to see what is good and what is wront with this release. Looking your video with the new 2k monitor that I have received yesterday is really nice. I think that spraying in NZ must be very a really nice experience given the hilly landscaspe they have there and the thousand farmstrip with incredible approach. I think I will do a lot of them in the future. With the new ground texture I think they could be spectacular.
Honestly the career mode is ruined by having to micromanage speeds and headings. You cant even enjoy what you are doing. How about "maintain a speed between 100-120 knots"? Are there any crop dusting pilots in the comments that can comment on whether maintaining that exact speed would be necessary?
Crop dusters typically stick around 130 MPH/112 Knots when spraying. Flying too fast can result in uneven spray distribution, while flying too slow might cause excessive drift.
Real Crop dusters have to micromanage these things or they won’t have a job or a life. Crop dusters have brass balls with the finesse of a blue angel, the respect I have for those pilots is way up there.
The regularity of your uploads is awesome bro. You've just got a new subscriber here.
Exactly! Everyday a video is no joke!
Exactly! Everyday a video is no joke!
Absolutely! With more to come 🙂 Thank you!
Thanks finally a crop dusting video in the 802. You can also use flaps in your turns. That decreases your turn radius.
You are welcome! 🙂

Watching those boys spray in real life is intense. The speed, agility, turns and burns haha! It's quite the site!!
It is! 🙂

At this point I just ignore them haha but oh my I don't need power lines to worry about! Enough to avoid as it is 😂 Glad you enjoyed!
I just came across the channel today. I really like the career videos
Awesome to hear! Plenty more career videos coming up!
Love the sound of Dusty Crophpper starting up!! (he was based on a different air tractor, but splash a little orange and white paint on that plane and some eyes....!).Turboprops are so cool :)
They certainly are! 🙂
Let’s go ur one of my favorite RUclipsrs for flight sim, keep it up
I appreciate it! And more on the way! 🙂
Good pacing. W vid
Nicely done. Great channel 👍
Thank you very much! 🙂
I think she’s saying that you’re turning your spray off too late, so it’s going past the field
Patiently waiting for an air race episode :)
And the low altitude challenges
Air race isn't available just yet but when it is, we'll certainly be diving into it 🙂
Awesome... and it isn't even lunchtime yet. Hope this one has some head tracking (wink wink)

Awesome vid! Could you do a video on your current set up? For me I play with an Xbox controller and the turtle beach velocity one flightstick
Glad you enjoyed! As for my set up it's just a Thrustmaster Hotas One, Xbox Controller and a PC! (RTX 3070, 64 GB Ram, i7 7700 processor!) 🙂
Nice! I have a Xbox series S and tried the Hotas one but it didn’t communicate well with my Xbox so I spent a little extra and upgraded my flight stick. But it looks like it’s serving you well!
Nice aircraft and video!
Agreed but thank you! 🙂

All the planes can be manually started.

I'll be getting to the company stuff once I'm pretty much done with all the certifications and unlocked the missions :)
@@CowTown Its better to start your own company and rake in the crap ton of money it gives you to be able to afford your certifications.
You’ve got some smooth landings brotha! Do you have speed and descent rate visible to you on another screen?
Thanks! But nope what you're seeing on the video is all I see :)
I've been having a hell of a time trying to get a good rhythm in this plane/ mission type. I was having constant engine trouble, the thing flies awful when it's fully loaded, almost stalling every turn, it's been rough.
Odd, not sure why that would be the case

Me doing touch and goes to help keep down the local varmint population "You touched the ground. Again."
Haha you'll get the hang of it! 🙂
@CowTown somehow I still got an A despite two of them
Well that works out!
@@CowTown and it let me finish that field with only about 75% completion 😂
Yeah you don’t have to do every bit of it but it does lower your score!
She likes you, but she could not admit to it on open mic 😅
Lol!
Very nice serie
Thanks! 🙂
Hello I'm new here, just wondering where are u from cuz the video came out at 3am 😂
Welcome! An underground bunker in Antarctica 😜 Colorado lol
@@CowTown Colirado? Wow, high mountains like here. Southern Switzerland here. Mountain glider pilot in RL.
I got dinged for being on the ground, not moving and put flaps down and exceeded max speed for flaps. Its bugged.
Yes flaps with some aircraft certainly are! Hope that gets fixed soon 🙂
FINALLY!!!!!
Woooo! 🙂
So what missions did you do to unlock the land on soft ground
Looked for missions out in the middle of nowhere doing the First Flights/Sightseeing!
@CowTown ok thank you
DO MORE CAREER PLS
How game running for you are getting into game ok I mean Severs
I've been having no issues getting into the sim! 🙂
curious, do you play keyboard and mouse? or do you have a joystick. I reallllly want to try out the game but just a bit unsure with the control
you do want a joystick, there are good cheap ones, or a xbox controller.
@@wout123100 got an xbox controller :)
I use a Thrustmaster Hotas One and Xbox Controller! (Controller for Helicopters and Camera stuffs) 🙂
No body/legs/arms in the cockpit, that's a bit of a shame. Hopefully they'll add that in the future.
I mean I'd probably be turning it off anyways, don't need that getting in the way of seeing certain things on the instrument panel haha

In most of the missions there is leniency. Like altitudes they give you about 120 ft +/- and speeds seem to be around 5-10 knots
