Some people want an Ev. Some people want a V8. Some people want a turbo 6. That's what's great about America the freedom to choose. But with a government telling you what you can choose because of climate change it's no longer the country we once knew. The most ridiculous thing is that America is one of the most cleanest countries in the world. Do we really want to live in a country that regulates what we can purchase? Well seems like almost half the country does or more accurately they don't realize it.

I just wish they gave the option for people to chose ALL variants of engines, what they fail to understand is there are people who want EV’s and will buy them and of course there are people like us who want to buy combustion engines. I just really wish they would redesign a different variant of the V8 Hemi and tweak it to where it’s slightly more efficient so we can all have what we want.

It is not a V6, It is an in-line 6 Cylinder. There is a very big difference between the two....

That twin turbo inline 6 ain’t no joke. That’s why some people get the bmw’s. The mod potential is crazy. To boost a 330+ hp to 500+hp is insane. So just imagine boosting the 540hp high output version of the hurricane engine. Will easily pass the hellcat in power after a tune.

I'm an old head so i'll give my take on the hurricane vs hemi and what I might do. I had a '14 srt8 challenger and I made the mistake of selling after 2020 when the prices climbed. I'd thought to make some money on it and sold it. I then briefly tried a twin turbo 3.0 Infiniti Q50. Beautiful car, loved the instant twin turbo torque but it just didnt have the soul of the challenger with its V8 sound. The itch was on to get another V8 but low and behold the same price increase that gave me a profit on the sale now screwed me on my search for another Hemi car. I wanted a cash purchase, no loans, so I ended up with an 09 R/T. Love the V8 sound I have once again, and that nostalgic feel of the Challenger but miss that 392 power. So now I'm on the fence because that 3.0 Infiniti was rated at 300 hp but they dyno at 325+ to the wheel and that car felt like it had more power than my 345. So that said I am very willing to entertain this hurricane motor, especially at the 550 hp mark they are touting. That set up with AWD will be quick and very powerful off the launch. If the car looks good in person, drives nice, and is priced reasonably (doubtful the way things have gone) I'd bite. The V8 rumble is nice but not if the power doesnt back it up like the stock 345. The 392 has it all and for me if my plan is to buy again in 3-4 years, im not paying astronomical prices for a used 392 Hemi car. They will go up in price as they begin to disappear off lots its just a matter of supply and demand. Referring to Scats and Hellcats of course.

Honestly I’m most likely going to have the old and the new definitely going to get a V8 but haven’t decided if I want the EV or six pack …. Honestly I might wait till 2030 to get the new EV because the improvements will be better this just the first wave

I understand the nostalgia around the V8, but it's fading. I'm not interested in paying top dollar for the I6, especially if it can't run with the EV. As for the EV, it will come down to price, but not many are going to pay more for a first-year Dodge EV that isn't as fast as the Tesla Model 3 Performance.

Yeah man fix it YOUR CAR up the way you want too. I personalized my RT for my own reasons. It's not about what others wanted or thought I should do this or that. Nah. It's my money I'm spending and that's what matters most. Your car your money.

The only Electrical Dodge I'm willing to Lease (not buy, never buy electrical cars) would be Dodge Banshee, Top tier. Otherwise I'm just going to go with Tesla. That being said, electrical cars are not good for human health man, you are sitting on a huge battery which irradiates the snuff out of your body.
