  • As a plumber by trade, we dig quite a few undergrounds and shoveling has always been a pain. I've always thought, there MUST be a better way... So I researched and looked high and low for something less expensive than a piece of heavy equipment and better than the old shovel and The Power Rubber Broom was the best option I could find. Will it work better than a shovel? Watch and find out...

    Were you able to use it to clean up a gravel driveway? That is, move gravel from the grass back TO the driveway?

    How is the rubber roller when in reverse direction?

    Interesting use scenario. For trenching I think a 10" wide "base" with splines that scooped dirt/gravel out sideways, lower rpms and higher torque, as well as a hip harness could turn a man into a mobile shallow trencher. It would have to be in sand or gravel though, because clay would be too much for anything like that. Thanks for putting it through an unconventional test.

      I agree and that’s something I’d love to have but for times sake this was a quicker option to test out. Thanks for watching!

      @@evanbrown1945 Lol, I wasn't suggest you make it, just thinking for that sort of use they could engineer something similar.

    How long did the battery last during your testing and what battery did you have in there?

    • @joshm5816
      @joshm5816 Год назад

      The 12amp hour battery runs about 45 minutes with this attachment. Although startup cost is high, Milwaukee tools are well worth it in professional use

    Think it'd work well for spreading pea gravel for a bedding In trench

      Well he is using it in absolute wrong purpose, everything he did he could do 4xtimes faster with a shovel. These are naively used on asphalt, sidewalks to get away sand and small rocks, leafys from grass and sidewalks.
      It’s way too many videos showing the equipment in wrong situations, it’s like reviewing a law mover in a field and say “nop it didn’t work”…

    It's really not made for digging, but for grooming a piece of land to remove rocks and other junk. I suppose they would have made it a rake, but if they used a metal attachment, as rakes have, it would till the land, not rake it.

      Might look at getting one to rake loose dirt to the end of a 2 foot wide trench

      I thought so too, but after using it for a week it’s actually been really handy just to have around the yard, job site and I’ve had a blast showing it to people that haven’t seen or heard of a tool like this. But definitely a specific usecase tool.

      It’s gotta little learning curve to it after a week of using I’ve got a lot better control of it and didn’t realize that it came with a handle grip for the shaft. That makes it so much easier to use.

      he did have a good point! and after using it more often its really useful that way in gravel but it does fill your boots and shoes with rocks if your not wearing long pants
